Andre’ was an incredible tour guide. He is a fountain of knowledge regarding Lisbon’s history, culture and politics. The experience brought us through three neighborhoods looking at a variety of street art utilizing various styles and mediums. It’s a great way to learn about the city. This was incredibly good value for money. We would highly recommend taking this tour.

Very knowledgeable guide going the extra mile! The tour was scheduled for three hours - it took us almost four.
Not nearly as expected. Our tour began by looking at wall tiles from a contemporary artist. After looking at several of those and no hope of seeing better, we made excuses and left. The photo shown in the promo for this tour is what we expected. Fortunately, we also had a 3 hour Tuk Tut tour of the city and our tour guide took us to the LX Factory! We found GREAT street art there.
The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about his study of street art in Lisbon. I learned a lot about history, social issues, and about the differences in street art (and its meanings) in different neighborhoods. I recommend this tour!
We had an amazing experience learning so much about the street art in Lisbon with Rui. He has a lot of knowledge and made it also fun for my 9 yo daughter. He showed and explained to us so much spots that we would not have seen or understood without Rui. I strongly recommend it. It is a fun and pleasant tour to do, even with kids.
Amazing street art tour with Rui Fernandes. Friendly & knowledgeable. A great way to learn about Lisbon. Throughly enjoyed it :)
The knowledgeable and entertaining guide! Rui is really a great guide!! We have seen so much and learned a lot from him!!!!
We had a super nice afternoon with Rui who showed us all kinds of interesting street art and explained the background stories around it. He was very well informed. This was a great opportunity to get to know the different areas of the city. It was well organized and we could ask any question we wanted.
My husband and I had a very enjoyable half day tour with Rui to explore some of the street art in Lisbon. We lucked out and ended up with a personal tour since the other folks cancelled last minute. Rui was very well educated on not just the history of Lisbon, but also the background of the various street artists we were able to experience. Also allowed us to go into neighborhoods we would not have done on our own. Would definitely do another tour with My Lisbon Tours again, especially with Rui.
A very interesting tour for streetart lovers but also for people who has nothing to do with art at all. The tour makes Lissabons street art visible and even more closer. With a guide who has turned his passion into a career, the guided tour will be a study of Lisbon's history, its artists and their motives to tell. What made the tour so special was our guide Rui. A passionate street art lover who hand-selects the tours and gives us a wonderful time full of impressions and experiences. You do not only look at painted walls with him, but you also look behind the identities and work out piece by piece your own picture of the street art culture in Lisbon. We can recommend this tour to everybody who wants to have a great time enjoying Lisbon.
It was amazing! In the beginning both of us were really tired and it was so hot this day, but when the tour started it was really interesting and our guide Rui was super nice and had a lot to tell us about Lisbon
I would like to acknowledge the most fantastic guide I have had the pleasure to take a tour with, Rui. Rui is knowledgeable, personable and gave an amazing interpretation of Lisbon past and present. I really valued the mix of culture, history and the incredible work. An incredible tour guide and well thought out tour. Obrigada
One of the highlights of our Lisbon vacation! Excellent communication from the tour organizer, including a picture of the meeting location and google map coordinates. The tour was just the two of us with guide Cheila. She was very personable and knowledgeable. Great at answering our questions and adapting the tour to our needs. This is a 3+ hour walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water and sunscreen in summer months. If you choose to walk to the meeting point (as opposed to using Uber, which is a great option in Lisbon!) be aware that it is uphill from almost anywhere. We kind of wore ourselves out getting there... and then had a 3+ hour walking tour on cobblestone streets and sidewalks! The tour is designed to give an overview of the history of Lisbon and explores the Graca and Alfama areas of the city. We viewed street art and visited the Thieves Market (Tuesday and Saturday) and a couple of Cathedrals. Well put together and executed! Thanks Cheila!
Our street art tour of Lisbon was one of the BEST experiences we had while exploring Portugal. Our guide, Rui, was fantastic - extremely knowledgeable, approachable and just a genuine guy. The tour itself is a great value - soak up picturesque sights from the tops of some of Lisbon’s miraduoros and take in the city’s vibrant street art scene. Sadly, we did the tour on our last day in Lisbon - otherwise, we would have happily signed up for some other My Lisbon Tours. We were fortunate to have Rui to ourselves for the tour - allowing us a to have a more personalized tour. The tour was 4 hours and a fair amount of walking. Rui frequently checked in with us, making sure the pace alright, giving us an overview of what to expect next, and seeing if we needed any breaks. We loved getting to see the different neighborhoods, hearing about their history and seeing the culture first hand. Our favorite highlight of the tour was the side trip to a parking garage with amazing art - something we never would have found ourselves. We can’t recommend My Lisbon Tours enough - book a tour with Rui - you won’t regret it and will make your stay in Lisbon a memorable one!
A week was not enough and I will definitely come back because the tour with Rui makes you fall in love with Lisbon even more! We walked around and admired some street art and graffiti... Then walked into Alfama district and tasted Ginjihna! It might have been a cloudy day, but Lisbon is beautiful regardless, so we also went to some viewpoints and they did not disappoint! Rui is an excellent guide, he’s knowledgeable and friendly! Thanks again Rui! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This tour really is a deep dive into Lisbon and street art in Lisbon: Rui Fernandes took us to both large scale murals, halls of fame and tiny street art interventions, to pieces from local and international artists – and shared a lot of his knowledge about artists, techniques and how Lisbon became one of Europe's street art capitals. The tour also took us to some of the amazing miradouros, the lookout points with great views of Lisbon. (Yes, the city is hilly, so, yes, be prepared for some serious walking on the four hours tour.) Another great part of the tour: Rui is steeped in Lisbon knowledge, so one will not only learn about street art and graffiti, but also about the history of the neighbourhoods and about the people and stories depicted by the artists. So all in all, this tour is time well spent – even more so if this is your first trip to Lisbon.
We had Rui Fernandes as our guide, and he was amazing. He showed us hundreds of art pieces, was well researched, considerate, compassionate and very intelligent as we walked all over Lisbon looking at street art. He went the extra mile, helping us find bathrooms, drinks when we needed refreshment, and took breaks when we needed it. We came for my husband's birthday and it was truly memorable. The art is spectacular and the guide helps tie it all together. Thanks Rui!
