Fabulous tour! We do food tours all over the world to get exercise, taste the local food and learn about the history. Alex was a great guide, very knowledgeable, fun and personable. We had six stops, all good and it was great to be able to skip the lines. We had a genial mixture of tour mates from all over which was fun. Highly recommend this tour!

Itinerary
Where it all starts! Absorb the city's bubbling energy, in one of the most vibrant squares of Lisbon, while meeting your guide. This is also where you will be introduced to Cod Fish, fried the moment you arrive, paired with Vinho Verde.
The heart of Lisbon is a place where food, commerce, history, and stories of tragedy and resilience come together, giving us one of the most impressive districts in the city. Here we will make the 6 stops of this culinary journey, in traditional places chosen for the freshness of ingredients and local charm.
Admire this beautiful gothic ruin with its elegant architecture, offering a captivating glimpse into Lisbon's rich heritage.
Discover the history of this impressive triumphal arch, a symbol of resilience and strength of the city that survived the famous earthquake in the 18th century.
The main artery of the historical center, where locals and visitors cross paths. Exploring this street is discovering the essence of Lisbon.
Once the city's entrance in the 16th century, this street has evolved into one of the most popular destinations for local gastronomy. With its hidden gems, here you can discover a wide variety of authentic local flavors.
Street completely redone after the great earthquake of 1755, far from the hustle and bustle of Rua Augusta, but maintaining the Portuguese tradition of good food everywhere. Here we will experience Bifana with Portuguese draft beer, in a family-owned business.
Take in the beauty of the architecture, the intricate Portuguese pavement, the vibrant street vendors, and the lively atmosphere of this square. It was here, two centuries ago, that Ginjinha, Lisbon's renowned traditional liqueur, made its debut. Savor a taste of this iconic drink while discovering the intriguing tale behind its famous serving options: "With or Without."
As you head to your next stop, look up at the top of the hill and admire São Jorge Castle embraced by the Lisbon light.

This was such a fun and interesting tour! Katarina shared so many stories that really brought the tour and our stops to life.
It was really a lot of fun! There were six of us in the group and we worked pretty much as teams together. The food was absolutely delicious and the Chef was so patient and kind making sure we understood directions and if we made any mistakes, it was no problem.
The small group experience meant we were able to go into small, local businesses and enjoy authentic food and drink without issue. Our guide gave fun and informative background to each stop with stories. Not too much walking between stops and on flat ground made it possible for me with a broken ankle to navigate easily.
Daniel was great company and set the scene at the meeting point in a lighthearted manner that made everyone feel comfortable. The group were out to have a great evening and we all mingled with ease. The stops were historically interesting as well as the food we ate and drank. We had more than enough to eat and drink for an evening out and went home happy. Great fun!
Amazing experience with a great variety of food and drinks – wonderful exploration of Lisbon and it’s culinary history.
José was a great guide. Knowledgeable, funny and articulate. He gave good descriptions of the history of the area, the food, and why things were the way they were. Who knew the Emglish drink tea because of a royal marriage? Not me! A really fun tour with more food and wine than any other I've done! Highly recommended.
Excellent food tour - 6 different stops - a great sampling of Portuguese foods. Each stop included an adult beverage (I.e., Ginginha, beer, port, red, white and green wines). However, what made the tour better than 5 Stars was our guide - Catherine/Katerina. She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, well versed, and adorable. I highly recommend and would encourage this tour to anyone.
The best introduction to Lisbon and Portuguese cuisine! Our guide Daniel was funny and welcoming and taught us a lot about local cuisine and history whilst taking us to small authentic establishments. The tour was great value for money with so much food and alcohol included. I joined as a solo traveller but I didn’t feel awkward and our group even went out for drinks afterwards! My only complaint is that the tour included so many stops that we didn’t always have time to finish our drinks in each - but maybe that was by design to stop us from getting too drunk haha (we still got rather tipsy!). Thank you Inside Lisbon and Daniel for a great first night in Lisboa.

Franko was excellent and I would recommend any tour he runs. The walking was well paced between the venues. We got a good variety of food and drink that represented Lisbon. Franko was also extremely knowledgeable about the history. Given it was an evening tour (4.30 pm start) Franko was extremely diligent everywhere we went.
Daniel was a wonderful guide with a great sense of humor. We got to try many different types of wine & Portuguese food. The portions were very generous. My husband is allergic to onions so Daniel made sure that he had an alternative to try at each stop. It was a group of 11, so it was so fun to get to know individuals from various countries. I would highly recommend this tour!
This Tour was a great entrée to my time in Porto, giving fabulous glimpses into the local food and culture. As a solo traveler, it was great to meet other people. Highly recommend!
Catarina was a wonderful and informative guide and each stop was superb in experiencing the “best” of Portugal.
Amazing experience Catriana , would do again
Daniel was a superb guide. The tour was great with lots of great food in sensible portions, with wine and beers to match. We learnt a lot about the food and wine.
A very enjoyable way to explore the city’s food and drink culture. William our guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining and encouraged all of the group to join in and have a great time.
History, delicious food and drink and a friendly guide. As a pescatarian, I was fully catered for which was really appreciated. This truly is a wonderful way to experience the city.
Very fun and informative tour. Our tour guide was excellent! Enjoy the Bifana and other local favourites.
Very good, really enjoyed it. Loved seeing really Portuguese historical places, not the tourist trap food.
Pedro was amazing he know a lot about history and the dishes. I recommend this tour !
Great tour! Our guide Franco was funny, friendly, and knowledgeable! Yummy food and wine await you!!
Joao (Johnny) was our guide. He was excellent, funny, knowledgable and accommodating. We went to 6 different places to sample food and drink. I highly recommend this for a wonderful afternoon.
Martin was unbelievably funny. This is a shockingly great tour for the value, tons of food and drinks. Heavily recommend.
The tour was an absolute pleasure. Our guide Franco was charming, knowledgeable and kept us at a great pace. We covered 6 locations and a wide variety of food and beverages in 3 hours. The time flew by. Highly recommend this tour.
Jose was a great guide and spoke of the history and culture in a way only a local could. The food and drinks were fantastic and very authentic.
Fun evening with a great guide. The rest of the group was fun too. I did this my first night in Lisbon and was a perfect introduction to the city.
This is a great food/drink tour. You get a history about the food which is great. Other food tours talk about history of the area and tell you what locals eat. This had more about why the foods the locals eat and where it came from. Our guide was great, talked to all of us. They were pretty good at accommodating special request. My only suggestion would be to have a different ticket option for those who do not drink.
Really enjoyed the Food and Wine walking tour. Our guide was super nice and engaging!! Nice to experience portuguese food and wine.
This tour was so much fun. We enjoyed all of the food and wine… but our guide Martin made it truly fantastic. His energy and knowledge made this one of our best experiences in Lisbon.
This tour is a lot of fun. Be ready to eat and drink throughout Lisbon. There is some walking but it is moderate, so wear sneakers. If you get a chance to request Martin, do it! He was funny, informative, and easy to talk with. His energy made this an excellent experience.
This was a great tour! Martin was friendly and knowledgeable and we learned a lot about wine and local food! Definitely worth the money and I would recommend it to everyone!
Daniel is an amazing tour guide, knowledgeable & funny. He make you feel like a insider and finds the best spots in Lisbon 5 x stars!
Daniel, great job!!!!! Thanks for all the nice food, drinks and Talks! Maybe bring your Guitar next time, :)
Great guide. Some sweet should be added. Famous pastry from Portugal. Not everything has to have wine or beer.
We had a fantastic evening with our host Daniel. Witty commentary, so much history and knowledge and amazing food. We felt like family with Daniel’s hosting skills and the food was delicious- so much so that we will be going back to several stops on the tour whilst in Lisbon.
Our guide, Martin Quiroz, provided a lively and educational food & wine tour. He was very engaging and made sure to spend time with each participant. The locations we stopped on the tour were authentic Portuguese (based on the clientele) so it felt like a true taste of Lisbon! It was an exceptional afternoon experience.
William was amazing, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. It made the experience infinitely better having a great guide
Great guide, great company, really worth the money.
Excellent overall. A lot of food is included, I was very full at the end; there were six stops and most stops had both food and drinks. My guide was Catalina. She spoke English perfectly well, was always easy to understand, and answered any questions the group had. At each stop she gave a nice overview of what we were eating and the history behind it. Our group was 14 people and everyone was lovely, and the entire length of the tour was about 3 hours and 15 minutes.
If your going to book a half day food and wine tour, stop looking around. You found it. I wish I could remember the guide name. She was awesome. Great food and drinks. Perfectly timed. Wonderful.
I had a great time on this tour! I met lots of wonderful people, ate great food, drank excellent wine, and learned a lot about Portuguese food, wine, and culture. Catarina was an excellent guide and was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Definitely worth the time and money!
LOTS of food wine and alcohol. Grest cross section of authentic Portuguese fare. Johnny was great. Lots of fun. Come hungry and thirsty!
A really informative and fun food tour with the brilliant Joao/John! A great group, highly recommended.
Pedro was so informative! He provided so much rich history that really enhanced the experience. The food was very good and we got to try a number of traditional Portuguese dishes as well as wine, beer, and Ginjonha. Highly recommend!
It’s fun, interesting and very informative. The food and wine were good, the restaurants etc friendly and welcoming
The guide, Martin, was outstanding. He knows the material very well, is highly articulate, has a good sense of humour, and is energetic.
