Great tour and scarf an added bonus. Tour guide was very knowledgable and the museum was interesting too.
An opportunity you simply shouldn’t miss to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Europe’s greatest football clubs. From the stands to the changing rooms and press room, then onto the pitch and the dugout, where you can also meet Benfica’s famous eagles. The tour continues to the club’s own museum, where you can experience the rich history and traditions of this magnificent club up close. As a lovely bonus, we even received a Benfica scarf as a gift. An absolute must for every football fan!
Absolutely superb tour and highly recommended. Did the stadium and it was about 1 hour 20 in total. Must not miss for any football fan. Great meeting the eagles as well!
Amazing tour of the great stadium with a superb guide - Ariana - very informative in English and Portuguese/. Excellent history of the old and new stadium with amazing football knowledge / well worth a visit / on the pitch too
Great self guided stadium tour and museum visit. The scarf is a lovely souvenir. Plenty to see and keep the whole family engaged.
We took a Stadium and Museum tour. Totally worth it for a football fan. The history of the club is amazing to learn about. We also saw the symbolic wild eagle.
one of the best stadiums i’ve been too. the coolest experience. the admission fee is cheap and you get a scarf and a magnet included. we stayed just over an hour. the atmosphere was great. there is real eagles also on the field which is like wow. it was not too busy. the museum is very interesting and the amount of trophies is crazy. staff were friendly. if i had any recommendation it would be to open the bar inside during tours so visitors can purchase drinks especially on a hot day. :)
It was so fun and special! We got to tour the entire stadium and museum and experience different locations of the stadium and got to see the locker rooms and even saw up close a real eagle
An unexpected highlight of our trip to Lisbon. Very friendly staff and fun, informative cultural experience!
Very nice tour well indicated for a self tour. Got to go field level. Very impressive stadium to visit.
A Fun Stadium Tour for Football Fans Estádio da Luz looks large and impressive even from the outside. During the stadium tour, you get to see the stands, the pitchside area, and different parts of the club, which is especially enjoyable for football fans. The sections about Benfica’s history and trophies are also interesting. The stadium tour is guided, while you explore the museum on your own. It is also an easy place to visit with children. However, the directions can sometimes be a little confusing, and it is not always clearly explained how to continue to the museum after the tour. Still, it is a very enjoyable experience and worth making time for if you are interested in football.
Great experience Good value for money Free gift at the start which my little boy loved Highly recommend
It's like walking up to mount Olympus, visiting the pitch, seeing the eagles, feeling the atmosphere at the stands, walking into the restim room. All of these create a special, majestic and spiritual feeling in one of the world's most amazing football temples. May the Black Panther rest in peace!
I did the stadium tour with friends in 2012 which was great so decided to take the footy mad kids on a tour whilst on a trip to Lisbon. The museum was excellent but the stadium tour was awful. You have to walj around and there is no one to tell you any information. The pitch has been dug up and is just a muddy mess and all the seats are just covered in dust which stains your clothes. They don’t tell you the pitch is being relaid when you book it. We didn’t get to sit in the subs bench and the eagles were no where to be seen. They should really suspend the tours whilst they are undertaking renovations. Kids were really disappointed. I have been on stadium tours all over the world and this was by far the worst. Save your money and just do the museum.
Easy directions to pick up tickets. You are able to enter the stadium at the point of pick up. Wish the turf field was accessible during our visit to access. All staff that we encountered were helpful and friendly. Food at the snack bar, not included, was very good and perfect ending for a 2 hr experience. Our son loved the scarf and magnet received.
Decent tour but much of what was promised not delivered. No locker room, no running through tunnel and they wouldn't let us into museum after tour even though our tickets clearly said it was included.
We loved the stadium and museum both were cool to see. However, Viator didn’t notify us that we wouldn’t be able to see the locker room and the field due to a concert in town.
One of the very best stadium tours I’ve done. The guide was fantastic, engaging & knowledgable. Lasted well over 2 hours, received a free scarf & a free fridge magnet. Overall 10/10
My son and I do a lot of stadium tours and were excited to go to Benfica. However, the tour fell short our expectations. Whilst the information shared was good, the tour guide lacked enthusiasm and did not engage with us unless we asked questions. There was little energy and lots of walking between places with no talking. It was also unfortunate that the pitch was stripped back, lots of work going on in side so we had very limited view of changing rooms and back room bits. Althought the sacrf was a nice touch and the photos taken were good (we didn't purchase them though due to price) it didn't stack up against other stadium tours we have done.
A great tour in a great stadium!!! An amazing museum. Just wow! Recommend to all football lovers, and even to those who are just curious!
So fun! Our family of 4 took this tour… ages 20, 22, 49, and 52 on a Friday morning. Loved all the stops and the tart was the best! Hugo was a great tour guide!
Bia was amazing, great banter throughout, would love her instagram x
Make sure if you buy a combo ticket that #1 the museum is open and #2 that the Stadium tour is more than a half hour...
We pre booked this tour via Trip Advisor for a specific day. We were then told on arrival that the vast majority of the tour could not be carried out due to the breakdown of the Bad Bunny concert which had taken place 2 days before. This meant we didn’t get to see the dressing rooms, press conference rooms, pitch access tunnels, go on the pitch or see the resident eagles. My 8 year old son was sobbing with disappointment as he was so excited to see everything and we were just told because we’d booked through a third party there was nothing they could do, which is not good enough as they would’ve known about the concert months in advance. The tour consisted of looking at a couple of models of the stadium, sitting in the stands then a VR experience, which was ok, but it was nothing like what we had paid for. Overall it was very disappointing and we are seeking a refund, as we did not receive anything like what was advertised.
Was really nice touring the stadium and seeing where the players play.
Really enjoyed the tour. Good value and not far from the city centre where I took the metro. The VR was fun and the stadium was impressive.
Superb. Our guide was fantastic and the tour was superb. Pitch side, changing rooms, sitting in Mourinho’s dugout. I went to a game a few years ago with Everton and turns out the Eagle 🦅 on that night is still alive 💙
I didn’t get to experience this tour as I asked for a different day and was granted it however the ticket was not available for the day of and the tour guide began ignoring me more than once when I was trying to reach out. I don’t recommend this tour unprofessional
My 16 year old son and I loved this tour, we were equally impressed with the welcoming arrival with scarf, the professional photographs, informative tour and VR experience. Our guide was great giving all info in both Portuguese and English. We definitely recommend this tour for all ages.
Wonderful experience. I didn’t go into it expecting anything. I have never done a stadium tour, but our tour guide was wonderful and had a lot of great conversations for all things futbol!
Excellent experience Quality time enjoying a home match.
Great experience, the guides were very kind and knowledgeable. The whole experience was great and the VR experience was particulary original and good.
Great tour, guide was very informative
We visited the Estádio da Luz for the stadium tour and unfortunately the experience felt quite disorganised and disappointing overall. We arrived at the tour entrance expecting to buy tickets there, but were told we had to go into the official store to purchase them. After getting lost trying to find the correct place, we eventually bought full-price tickets, partly encouraged by signage suggesting a free Benfica scarf was included. However, when we returned to the tour entrance, staff informed us that our tickets did not include the scarf, despite paying the standard price, which was confusing and frustrating. The tour itself was generally okay but felt rushed and somewhat impersonal. We did not get access to the home dressing room, and a large portion of the visit involved being left with a VR headset for around 30 minutes, which felt more like filling time than part of a guided experience. At the end of the tour, visitors are returned to the official store with no clear indication of where or how to access the museum, even though museum entry was included in our ticket. Clear signage or guidance would greatly improve this. Staff appeared disengaged at times, and while the tour was delivered in both Portuguese and English, the Portuguese explanations were much longer while the English sections were brief and difficult to understand. Given Benfica’s global reputation, we expected a more welcoming and better organised experience. With clearer communication, better visitor guidance, and more balanced multilingual explanations, this could be a much stronger tour.
Great tour from start to finish for either a neutral or avud fan. Great museum with a vast array of different sporting trophies
The stadium tour is great for anyone, even if they are not a football fan! We had tour guide they spoke both Portuguese and English and the group size was about 12. The access to areas was flat, there was a VR headset section which was a nice surprise, although it makes me feel sick, it is funny watching others! Got really close the eagles! Definitely recommend it. Be aware of the photo sales at end, we were ushered to one side and only shown the souvenir package without being made aware that we could buy only the photo! After the tour we went to the museum and trophy rooms - wow!
The Lisbon SL Benfica Stadium & Museum Tour with Scarf was an amazing experience for football fans. The stadium is impressive, and the museum is full of interesting history about the club and its legendary players. Our guide explained everything clearly and made the tour engaging and fun. Receiving the Benfica scarf was a great bonus and a nice souvenir from the visit. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon, especially if you love football.
I came on a football trip to Lisbon from Dublin Ireland an we had a private stadium tour with our soccer team the stadium was one of the coolest i have ever seen
This was an awesome experience, made even better by the tour guide Beatriz! She knew everything there is to know about SLB! Thank you Beatriz! ❤️
We had a wonderful tour of the stadium. The guide was great and very helpful and informative. I would highly recommend.
Easy to arrange, great customer service. Such a fantastic experience. The tour was amazing. When we thought it was over there was still more to see and do. The virtual experience was something else. Our guide was also very good. Spoke in Portuguese and English . Cannot praise him enough.
It was a good tour - fun to see all of the areas of the stadium - but our guide did not talk much to us about the history
Interesting. VR aspect was fun. Guide seemed knowledgeable. Surprised by live eagles as part of tour. Museum is larger than one would expect.
Tour was booked, and confirmed. When we arrived we learned tour was not permitted as it was a game day. Seeking refund for tour which was not permitted.
An amazing experience for soccer fans! Highly recommend. Our tour guide, Voldemort was knowledgeable and funny.
Great and thorough. Great tour guide with lots of knowledge. Wonderful experience especially the Eagles and the VR.
Really enjoyed the tour. The VR was brilliant the kids loved it. I wish we could have seen the main changing rooms. Enjoyable experience 👍
Definitely a great behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium. Perfect for any fan of European soccer who is familiar with the Benfica team. My husband, who is such a fan, was thrilled. Visit was well-done, and just the right length. Highly recommend.
Terrific tour, host was great and the VR element was good as well. Overall well worth it a genuine great experience. The club shop gave discount from a barcode from the tour so if your buying anything wait till the end.
