Lisbon Private Half-day And Customizable Tour

The tour covered a good amount of sites but tour guide/driver was mediocre at best. Could not hear her dialogue while driving in van. Did not put much enthusiasm in her explanations.

Our tour guide Victoria was wonderful. He knew the history of Porto and was very nice. I injured myself prior to tour and walked with a cane. He was very attentive to me and I really appreciated it.

Lisbon is a Beautiful city. Excellent guide/ driver.. always polite and and very knowledgeable and easy to understand.

Excellent tour with a knowledgeable and engaging guide. Nice comfortable ride. You will still be walking so wear comfortable shoes. I also recommend eating before the tour. Highly recommend this tour for a more personal experience!

Truly Amazing Private Lisbon Tour Our half-day private tour of Lisbon was truly amazing from beginning to end! 🇵🇹✨ Everything was perfectly organized, and having a private guide made the experience so much more personal and enjoyable. We saw some of the most beautiful and iconic parts of Lisbon while learning so much about the city’s history, culture, and traditions. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy the city at our own pace. It was the perfect way to experience Lisbon in just half a day, and we came away with wonderful memories and a much deeper appreciation for this beautiful city. Four of us with our private driver. Pleasant driver with lots of background information and interpretation. We were able to get out a few times but this was mostly an overview. (Also learned which soccer club to root for!)

We enjoyed talking with the driver; however, he was a driver and not a tour guide. There was little or no information provided.

This is a nice tour to get an overview of Lisbon from a knowledgeable guide. We saw many of the city’s main attractions while learning the history of each.

Great way to see Lisbon as a first-timer with only a day to spend. Definitely do your research ahead of time to make sure you see everything you want to, but if not, your driver will have plenty of things on the agenda. The luxury car was so much better than a tuktuk!

A private tour is the best way to go when one has limited time. Our driver was Andre’ and I must say he was most attentive, quite knowledgeable about the city and sites we were seeing, as well as courteous. It was a delightful time that was well-planned. We felt we had an overview of the entire city!

The tour of the Quelaz National Palace and the Crown jewels were both very interesting. Our guide, Rui, was very informative and friendly. The Belém Tower was under renovation, but it was still nice to have the water view.

We had a wonderful adventure around Lisbon with our personable, knowledgeable and well-organized tour guide Rui. He made sure we were comfortable and well-informed. All in all, it was a great introduction to the city.

Great tour! Ton to see. Traffic slowed us down a little but not too bad. Extra stop at an old church was worth it.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, accommodating to our interests and pace, and very pleasant with a good sense of humor. Of course it is impossible to see Lisbon in a day, but did a great job of providing us with what we wanted to experience (and then some) and offered terrific advice for future visits.

We were expecting a van or a bus. Instead we had a sedan and as we left the meeting point we were informed two more people were coming. This left me squeezed in the back seat between two men. The other couple mentioned they only signed up the day before and paid half the fee we did. Very disappointing.

We thoroughly recommend Paulo who was our guide for a half day tour of Lisbon. He covered everything in great detail with historical knowledge of his Lisbon and drove us around without getting in any traffic jams plus found a parking space within feet of each venue including eating a Pasteis de Nata from the world renowned shop. Always relaxed and never hurried we would definitely use him again when we come back to Lisbon.

Our driver Nuno Miguel was phenomenal. First the car was a newer model very clean with waters. Nuno was professional courteous, knowledgeable, entertaining and a really good driver. We were able to see many of the historical places in the 4 hour tour and he took photos of us. We even had time for a stop to try Pasteis de Belém. His recommendations were great. We will definitely rebook and bring friends!!!

This was a wonderful, private tour, featuring a native tour guide named Carlos Dos Santos, who added a great deal to our overall experience. Carlos knew every inch of his beautiful city of Lisbon, and he showed us some interesting spots that were off the beaten path. His historical knowledge was amazing, and he spoke fluent English, something that is not always the case on such tours. One highlight was when Carlos took us to a small bakery where a unique custard dessert was invented. Delicious! My wife and I appreciate his funny sense of humor and the extra effort that he made to make our day-long visit to Lisbon so enjoyable.

Luis was our driver/guide and he is the one you need to ask for when scheduling this outstanding tour. He knows Lisbon like the back of his hand and is a master at getting thru traffic and safely. Luis is very smart, an easy communicator and provides you with the best 4 hours you will have during your Lisbon visit.

We were able to stop and take photos while he explained the history of each site! We went to Pastéis de Belém and we were able to buy pastels de Nata. If you are looking to see the best of Lisbon and have an accurate and entertaining tour, definitely request Tiago Costa at Gold Compass tours. If there was an option for 6 stars I would select that!
