We had a wonderful private tour. Miguel introduced us to the history of Lisbon and Portugal in such a kind and knowledgeable way. There was hardly a question he couldn’t answer. We enjoyed discovering the city at a relaxed pace, including Alfama and some beautiful viewpoints along the way. This is absolutely recommended! We had a great time and look forward to next time.

We did a day-long tour with Tiago and it was wonderful! He knows all the shortcuts to avoid the crowds, showed us stunning views and answered all of my many questions. We can’t believe how seamlessly we weaved through every neighbourhood! Walking through places like Alfama and stopping for those incredible viewpoints made us love Lisbon even more and vow to visit again.
Sofia was absolutely fabulous. She is very knowledgeable about local history and took us to some of the best lookout spots and hidden gems. We had two teenagers with us and they were totally engaged and loved exploring the city by foot and tram! I don’t think you can get a better recommendation than that. Take this tour - you will be thrilled!
Tiago is extremely knowledgeable and very enthusiastic in explaining history of Portugal He really went above and beyond explaining us the details and the walking tour was well worth it
It wasn’t our first time in Lisbon, but it was definitely the most rewarding visit. João showed us a very special side of the city and filled our hearts with knowledge and insight about his hometown in 7 hours. Every question we had was answered. His suggestions made the rest of our time in Lisbon even more enjoyable. Thank you so much, João.
Tiago is an energetic and passionate guide, born and raised in Lisbon, who genuinely loves sharing the city’s rich history and culture with visitors. His natural curiosity, love of literature, and lively storytelling style come together to create a really engaging experience. Authentic, funny, and full of interesting stories, architecture, and details about Lisbon that you definitely won’t find in a guidebook. Skip the travel books and spend a long walk around Lisbon with Tiago instead.
Tiago gave us a personal tour, modified to our interests and stamina. The tour included the history of Portugal and important Lisbon sights. Lunch and small breaks included traditional Portugese dishes. It is clear that Tiago is proud of his city and his Portugese heritage. We had a great day.
We would definitely do a tour like this again! Beatriz is such a warm and kind person and incredibly knowledgeable. She showed us many beautiful spots around the city, always sharing interesting stories along the way that made everything more meaningful. We especially loved the small streets and the art she pointed out, and the way she guided us through Lisbon’s history felt very natural and engaging.
Miguel took us to some true hidden corners of Lisbon while also making sure we saw the main highlights. He was excellent at reading our interests and adjusting the experience to suit us perfectly. Afterward, he even sent plenty of helpful suggestions for the rest of our stay. Thank you for such a warm and memorable introduction to your city Miguel!!
We had an incredible outing packed with tons of facts and plenty of giggles. I’d suggest booking with Tiago to anyone looking to see the real Lisbon. He was so smart and accommodating, making our afternoon absolutely perfect. We walked away knowing so much more about the city and Portugal’s past!
Mariana, our guide, had an incredible command of Portugal’s rich past, and she conveyed it with genuine passion. She truly made every story feel vivid and real, turning the history into something you could almost experience firsthand.
Had an incredible time with Miguel! He kindly met us right at our hotel to begin the walking tour, which was such a thoughtful touch. His deep knowledge of the city truly impressed us. Since we’re big history fans, we asked him to share everything about Portugal’s past — and he absolutely delivered. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
My friend and I had a fantastic and insightful six-hour tour with Sofia. She arrived punctually at our hotel, and from there, the day unfolded with both learning and laughter. Sofia was everything we could’ve wished for—deeply knowledgeable yet easygoing, making every moment enjoyable. We discovered so much while genuinely having fun. Her English was excellent, and her energy kept us engaged throughout. I’d recommend Sofia without hesitation, and if we return to Lisbon, we’ll absolutely book with her again. Thank you, Sofia, for such a wonderful experience!
My husband and I joined a three-hour walking tour of Lisbon with Beatriz, and I absolutely recommend it. She guided us through the main landmarks and charming districts, giving us plenty of opportunities to browse authentic local stores and capture photos. We also enjoyed an incredible lunch and the tastiest Pastel de Nata at a traditional café. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!
This tour felt like exploring the city with a friend who really knows and loves it. It was the perfect mix of history, local culture, and personal touches tailored to what we were most interested in. Highly recommend—especially if you want something a bit more personal and genuine.
Touring with Andre was a true pleasure. His English is excellent, and his enthusiasm for the city of Lisbon and the country and history of Portugal shined through. We've all had those guides who tried to make themselves the center of the show. That's not Andre, he kept the focus clearly on the city and its history.
Our guide, Miguel, made our day in Lisbon unforgettable. His passion for the city's culture and history was contagious. This tour was an absolute delight. We highly recommend it to all!
Our guide, Pedro, amazed us with his vast knowledge of Lisbon's past and present. His enthusiasm was infectious, leading us through historic streets and viewpoints. His personal touch made the tour feel tailored to us, enhancing our enjoyment. I can't recommend this tour enough.
Paulo was excellent! He explained the culture, food, history and answered all my questions. He suggested places to eat and visit! Great conversation! Very professional and helpful! Definitely a must! Thank you for making my first day in Lisbon fantastic! Heiwi
Paulo was a terrific guide. He shared his city with us in an informative and enjoyable afternoon. 15 miles of walking, loved it!
My partner and I made an excellent decision to book a tour with Paulo to start our vacation in Lisbon. Paulo provided us with an exceptional overview of the city's rich history and the location of various places of interest. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the city effortlessly. Every detail was taken care of, including tramway tickets, coffee, pastries, and lunch. If you book this tour make sure Paulo tells you why there are statues of roosters sold as a souvenir all over the city! Additionally, among all the tour guides we encountered during our stay, Paulo had the most impressive command of the English language.
Just a great private tour. Joaquin was very knowledgeable of current and historical information as it pertains to Lisbon and Portugal. Lunch was very good at a small non touristy restaurant. The fish was superb but be warned there are bones a plenty. Great chance to cover a lot of Lisbon and learn the history of it as well. I would highly recommend this tour but there is a lot of walking and some hill climbing so be prepared, wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate to the weather. Thank you Joaquim for a great time!
My husband and I had such a great time with Joao, thank you so much for showing us the city with such depth. From the food to every little detail, this tour was beyond expectation.
What a great day! We covered a great amount of land in Lisbon with Toni, a very cool guy, who taught us, made us enjoy and feel like going with a friend on a tour of his city. The tour was very well organized, Toni contacted us days before to ask us about our preferences and dietary restrictions. Alfama and Mouraira are two lovely areas that are a thousand times more enjoyable when toured with a local. The food in the restaurant was also very good. It was beyond our expectations and we will repeat our next time in Lisbon with Toni!
The more I travel, the more I treasure this Tour. It was great meeting Andre, a knowledgeable and professional guide. We had a beautiful day despite the cold. Thanks!
Ana was amazing! We had an amazing day touring the best of Lisbon and eating at one of its most traditional restaurants. The food was incredible! We found paths and shortcuts all over the city and discovered the history of Lisbon that we would not have discovered if it wasn't for her. The views she showed us left us speechless. Don't miss this tour, a must do!
