We were not impressed with this tour guide. When we first walked up, she was smoking. That's not healthy for us to be breathing, for her to be doing and it's a really bad look for the company. She was hard to hear and hard to see. This company should add headphones to the tour and tell her to stop smoking. Until that happens, look elsewhere.

We highly recommend Shiri for a walking tour of Lisbon. She was very knowledgeable and deeply engaging around many aspects of the history of Lisbon and Portugal. Her tour included some of the foods of Portugal and really beautiful vistas of the city. This was a top-notch tour!!
Jose was very knowledgeable and fun. Very professional , but not stuffy. He gave us also lot of practical suggestion and pointed out some hidden gems ( the oldest bookstore in the world).Highly recommended!!!
A fab guided walk by Walter, a very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. Highly recommended! 👏🏻
Tiago was an excellent guide with lots of passion and local knowledge. Easy to understand and covered as much of the city highlights he could in 2.5 hours. Comfortable walking pace and time to look inside a few of the stops.
Tiago was a wonderful guide. We learned so much and had a perfect walk.
Great tour and Kate is an experienced tour guide. The tour was easy to schedule and meeting point easy to find. We learned a lot about the history of Lisbon!
A really interesting, informative walking tour.
Our guide Walter was the BEST EVER His energy and all the information he provided was excellent I would want him to be my tour guide in all my travels
Walter was a captivating storyteller and an excellent guide. From the beginning of the tour to the end he used his knowledge (and imagination) to describe the importance of particular moments in the city’s history. Some of the history I didn’t know, for example hearing of the Jewish massacre was very moving and the sight of the Igreja de São Domingos an indelible memory. I may have felt a particular affinity with this tour because my own city was affected by a devastating earthquake a few years ago - nothing like Lisbon in the 18th century - but tragic all the same. I simply cannot speak highly enough of this tour and Walter. Right up there with the best.
Very informative but had a very large group. At the end of the tour he gave an email link for local restaurants to try which was very helpful.
Claudia was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. She was also accommodating in her speed to the different fitness levels present on the tour. Very transparent about the injustices & colonialism Portugal has been involved in and how it is important to recognize this past while taking concrete steps to make the country more welcoming to all people. Also appreciated the local recommendations catered to the group’s needs.
Walter was our tour guide today. He was truly one of the best I've ever had. Very knowledgeable, and he didn't repeat himself. I learned a lot about Lisbon's history something I hoped to gain from the walking tour. I'll say for me one of the most thoughtful Parts at the end was how to get up to Chiado using escalators part of the way meaning I didn't have to climb a bunch of stairs. His tour goes in a nice pace and he even was nice enough to message me before the tour. Ask for Walter for a great tour.
Tiago was super knowledgeable and passionate given Lisbon is his hometown and his education in history. We learned so much about Lisbon in two and half hours. The bonus was all the tips he gave us to have a great experience in Lisbon. Highly recommended!
Kate was an excellent guide - bright, interesting and very clearly spoken. Gave us just the right amount of history- really good introduction to Lisbon
During my holiday to Lisbon I went on the Lisbon: City Highlights Guided Walking Tour. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide, Walter, was knowledgeable; you could tell he loved his job by the way he explained the history of Lisbon to us. We walked through the city and learnt about the architect, the Great Lisbon earthquake in 1755, and how the city was restored. Lisbon is rich in culture and history, and the Portuguese people are unique. Walter also gave us food recommendations, amongst other things. The walking tour was educational, I left feeling I had made the right choice by joining it. Thank you Walter; I will definitely come back to Lisbon and go on more tours with you.
Clabor was a great guide and the tour was very worthwhile.
We really enjoyed this walking tour with Walter as our guide. He was really knowledgeable about the area we covered and would definitely recommend this tour and Walter as your guide.
The experience was great and Tiago was excellent and explained things very clearly. He showed us great saving tips and was a very enjoyable experience. I would wrap up warm though as can get chilly. Highly recommended. Andy Tsang
This was a fun and interesting trip. Our tour guide Walter did a great job and it was lovely meeting him. During the tour he shared some local knowledge on places to eat and activities to do while in Lisbon which was much appreciated.
I've never used Free Guide, but I'll be using it more often now. It's a 3-hour walking tour that helps you get to know the city, with tons of helpful tips. A great way to start your stay and get to know the place.
Martin gave an outstanding tour of Lisbon city centre. He spoke of history and made it become alive, through stories of the past. We spent three hours on our walking tour, covering the main areas from the river to Barro Alto, Baix, and Alfama. We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour, and feel that everyone should ensure that include such a wonderful experience as part of their visit.
Excellent tour… had several family members- from teens to grandparents. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. Would recommend.
Tiago was excellent! His knowledge of Lisbon history was great. He gave us recommendations and we truly enjoyed the 2 1/2 hour walking tour. I highly recommend it. We arrived the same day and now we know the best places to visit during our trip.
Our tour guide this morning was Walter, who was superb. Very engaging, informative and despite the poor weather, kept our interest. The tour guides us through the history of the downtown area, concluding in Chiago area- very worth while doing!!
Do yourself a favor and book this early on into your visit to Lisbon. Our guide was Klieber and he was a wealth of knowledge with a great demeanor. We walked away understanding Portugal’s history better and with a great list of local recommendations.
Walter is amazing I did not register in advance, I just walked up to the group as I was walking around. I learned so much, he is a FANTASTIC representative of your company!

Excellent and right speed.Hills were as expected, time spent was perfect. Recomendations for restaurants were spot on.
Kate was an enthusiastic and knowledgable guide whose English was super . She is a Ukrainian who has adopted Lisbon and a very able advocate for what the city offers and had a good supply of interesting stories.
Kate was very engaging and gave some really interesting highlights of Lisbon. It was a really good way to get a flavour of the city, exploring churches, Moorish architecture and stories about the Lisbon story.

We did the "Baixa-Chiado Free Tour - English with Walter at 5:30 on May 19th and it was fantastic. Walter was very informative and a really great story-teller., he brought the history of Lisbon alive and was very approachable. Highly recommend.
Our tour was lead by Walter who gave in-depth context and history of every site we visited using perfect English. He even gave us bonus tips to get the most out of lisbon. If all that is not enough, he sent us a document of common recommendations he is asked. The best guide in Portugal. Highly recommend.
