Lisbon Highlights By Tuk Tuk

This was our 2nd half day Tuk Tuk with Tagarela Tours, 1st was in May of 2023. We we planned our 2026 vacation to Lisbon I reached out to Tagarela Tours to book another half day Tuk Tuk. We got to see other sites that we didn't such as Parque Eduardo VII from the top of the hill. We even stopped for Ice cream at Nannarella. Tuk Tuk with Tagarela Tours is a great value that helps you enjoy Lisbon.

Silvio picked us up right by our hotel. We did the tour hour tuk tuk tour of Lisbon. Silvio was very knowledgeable and kind to the four of us. We booked this tour last minute with Andreia the owner and she was able to accommodate our tour request. We saw many sites and overlooks of Lisbon. Highly recommended for your first day in the city. It helps narrow down what you want to see in future days of your trip.

Andreia Cantarinha or Tagarela Tours is an EXCELLENT guide. We did two tours with her - a 1/2 day Tuk Tuk Overview of Lisbon and (later) a custom tour of Lisbon's Maratime history. Both days were amazing. She is knowledgeable, personable and a great communicator. She and our terrific Tuk Tuk driver were able to adapt to my husband's mobility issues. We intend to recommend her to all our friends coming to Portugal!

Our family of four adults really enjoyed the four hour tuk tour around Lisbon. We did this on our first full day in Lisbon. It gave us a great perspective on things to do and see. Andrea had her colleague Miguel Dias give the tour. He was so friendly and knowledgeable in all the sights. We felt very well cared for and never rushed. We would recommend this to friends and would book again when we return to Portugal.

We had a wonderful experience with our guide Mafalda! She was very knowledgeable and took us to all the best viewpoints in the city. Tuk tuk is definitely the best way to see all of Lisbon because of the hills. We saw so much beauty in the city and enjoyed a comfortable and fun ride!

We were a party of 3 (2 adults and a 10 y/o) and reached out last minute (a day before) due to a cancellation by our original tour guide. Andreia was able to accommodate us for a half-day tuk tuk tour in Lisbon. Her communication is excellent; moreover, she is very sweet, knowledgeable and informative — we were extremely comfortable with her! Despite the rain and cooler temperatures that day, we enjoyed seeing and learning about Lisbon. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Wonderful four hour adventure, seeing the best highlights of beautiful Lisboa. Down the narrow streets and up to the highest peaks, filling in the history of a wonderful country over the centuries. Highly recommended.

My parents and I booked a 2-hour private tuk tuk tour with Kin shortly after our private tour to Sintra with Andreia. We were so glad we did this, although we regret doing it for only 2 hours and on the last full day of our trip! Kin gave us so many good tour and food recs (which we’ll be using for our next visit), as well as more history behind many of the sites he took us to. It was such a great way to tour the city based on our interests, as Kin tailored the tour he gave us. What an amazing trip, Portugal stole our hearts. We were so lucky to meet an amazing guide, Andreia Cantarinha from Tagarela Tours, who showed us her country with her own eyes. We visited amazing cities and learned the deep history about each city. We visited Lisbon, Cascais, Belem, Porto, Duro Valley, Sintra, Aveiro and Obidos. We spent so much time with our guide and we got lucky that she was amazing with a bubbly personality . Always on time, very knowlegable, passionate about history, super friendly, accommodating all our needs, doing extra stops and very sweet. She did the tours and by tuktuk and by VAN, we felt safe and very comfortable. Before booking our tours I reached out to many guides and she was the fastest to reply, offer suggestions and recommendations and also the most reasonable as far as the price goes. We hope we come back to Portugal again and go explore all other amazing sights with her again.

Andreia and Kin made one of my last few days in Portugal wonderful. I love how the trip was organized so you could see where you’ve been when you get to the top views. They really helped with physical limitations and also when my phone ran low on battery. Highly recommend.

Lisbon is a beautiful city but what makes it special is when you go on a tuk-tuk tour with Kin! Despite having challenges with rain we had a great time with a passionate guide, knowledgeable, caring and so personable! He took us to Belem as we requested, but went out of his way to stop in several other places, made sure we had a sweet treat, took amazing photos, and rapped us in blankets to keep us warm. We had an amazing half-day tour with Kim! He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, especially with kids in tow, and made sure we saw as much as possible. Kim was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, showing us a great mix of iconic sites and hidden gems, including churches, flea markets, various districts, and stunning viewpoints. He also gave us excellent food recommendations and even guided us to some hidden food spots. Our visit to Belém was a highlight, and the kids absolutely loved it! I had an amazing time with Tagarela Tours! Andreia was an awesome guide along with Kin (for our Tuk tour of Lisbon). Andreia took us on excursions from Lisbon to Porto as well as Algarve and planned out perfect days for us both trips. We visited Portugal for a girls trip! I highly recommend touring with Taggarela Tours!! Andrei is the best!! We started with a TukTuk tour in Lisbon. Which I recommend starting with! We also took a few adventures to Porto, which was absolutely amazing and visited Algarve, also amazing! Going on adventures with a local was a game changer! Andrea with Tagarela Tours was amazing to help us plan and see as much of Portugal as was possible in 10 days! Today I experienced the best tuk tuk tour of my life with Kin Duarte. It was my birthday today and i wanted to explore the city of Lisboa as it was my first time here with my mom and aunt. We approached him to ask for a tour trip for tomorrow but he was so nice we decided to go with him immediately. Touring with him was so much fun, we drove around for almost 2 hours and he explained a lot about the history of Portugal. We stopped allot to view the nicest attractions of the city while he offered to take pictures for us. It was very nice to meet someone like Kin. He also gave us tips where we could find some nice local food. Kin thank you for making my birthday trip a trip to remember 🫶🏾. Kind regards from us !

It was a great way to see Lisbon in another perspective. We had a fantastic guide called Andreia. She was very kind and funny and had lots of knowledge of the city. I wanted to see all the sights on a private tour and Kin delivered. He was knowledgeable, entertaining & accommodating to what I wanted to see and do. I was worried being on a solo private trip but he made me feel completely at ease. Would recommend these tours to anyone.

Kin ( Keen) took us around town . Down narrow streets that we would have never found on our one. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Knew all the places and everyone . Gave us a great idea for a BBQ. Great guy- can give you a $ or $$$ choices ideas for meals. Loved our day. Waited for us even though we were late. Worth every penny and the sore feet we would have had - up and down those roads. Instead, no sore feet , great day and got to see a good portion of the city. Appreciated they had different time frames laid out.

We had a fabulous time with Andrea on the day we landed and in 3 hours we got a great overview of Lisbon in her Tuk tuk. She is v passionate about Lisbon and it shows whilst she was giving her tour.

There are many tuk tuk tour companies around and they will try to persuade you to take their cheap options but will not tell you any history/stories or explain any of the cities wonderful landmarks and areas. Andreia helped us to make a birthday surprise for a friend, appearing with her Tuk Tuk on her house and taking us for a small journey around some cool places in Lisbon, making this experience fun and unforgettable for the birthday Girl. She also gave some nice tips to enhance our experience. Andreia was a delight to work with! Her communication before our tour and her flexibility were great! We did a 3 hour tuk tuk tour of Lisbon on the day of our arrival. We were all very jet lagged but her enthusiasm and great information about the area kept us all engaged. Bonus is that she takes credit card for payment so we didn’t have to worry about acquiring Euros on our first day. Very professional and a really nice lady!

I solo travelled to Lisbon for 2 days and wasn’t sure where to start my trip & the weather was unpredictable, so I last minute booked Tagarela Tours. Andreia met me at my hostel as I was close by - it was even her day off, and still she took the job!! Instantly felt like I was catching up with a friend. We visited beautiful neighbours: several churches, a little hidden treasure, several viewpoints, the flea market, and near the port. We did a half day (4 hours) Lisbon tour with Andrea and she was wonderful. She kept the entire family (including two teenagers) entertained with interesting historical facts and stories. It was wonderful to get a break from walking up all the hills. The Tuk Tuk is an amazing way to explore the city. She also shared helpful tips on restaurants and transportation options. Even after the tour we sent her a question and she was very quick to respond. We highly recommend Andrea. She made our time together very memorable. She took us up Belem for us to try the famous pasteles de Belem and to beautiful scenic stops where she took photos of our family. It was a highlight if our trip.

We went on the historical city tour (blue line) with Mariana from Lisbon by tuk tuk. We had the best experience ever with Mariana and she is very knowledgeable about the history and culture. She is a great driver and very safe and really cares about her clients. She added very special touches and gave us a moving Fado song that I shall cherish forever. Tuk tuk tours by Lisbon is very lucky to have such a talented wonderful individual on their staff. I recommend her highly.

Wonderful tour with a very energetic and informative guide! Our guide was lively and a lot of fun. She loves her city and shows people the best of Lisbon.

Katarina was our guide. First a very safe driver but efficient! She was very knowledgeable about the areas we went to and we had local stops for street food and drinks. She did’t drink but we could. She was also very fun and not boring. I would recommend her for your next tour!
