Itinerary
We’ll meet in front of the Supremo Tribunal de Justiça. Keep an eye out for a yellow "Carpe Diem Tours" sign.

Next, we’ll visit a traditional Portuguese seafood restaurant for grilled sardines and comforting seafood rice. And the best part? You’ll enjoy it all with a refreshing glass of iconic Vinho Verde.
After a sit-down meal, explore Portuguese street food with the legendary bifana, a tender steak sandwich simmered in garlic and wine. Be sure to save room for a crispy coxinha or croqueta, best enjoyed with an ice-cold beer.
We’ll stop at a historic liquor shop, founded in 1890, to taste Portugal’s beloved Ginjinha, a smooth, sour cherry liqueur that sets the stage perfectly for your final sweet treat.
No food tour is complete without dessert, finish with Portugal’s iconic pastel de nata, a golden, flaky custard tart that’s simply unforgettable.

Joanna was amazing! Great food and great knowledge! Recommend!
I started my trip in Lisbon with this tour and it really gave us a taste of the most traditional options that Portuguese food has to offer and at the same time curated to be some of the best bites. The tour was about 3 hours. We paid under $100 for so many bites (+drinks) and we were so full by the end of it. The guide and our fellow guests were such a great vibe for the day, there were about 8 guests in addition to me and my cousin. We even ended up meeting up for another meal with some of the guests and continued sharing in New found love of vinho verde wine. Everyone on the tour including our guide, spoke English and the walking was relatively level for such a hilly city. I would absolutely recommend this tour to those experiencing Lisbon for the first time and I would look for others like it when I return.
Zé was great and the food was delicious.
