Writing We had a fantastic food tour in Lisbon with Thomas! He was personable, knowledgeable, and very informative. The restaurant choices were excellent, and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend Thomas to anyone looking for a great food tour in Lisbon!

A fantastic way to experience Lisbon: take in the views, explore the central areas, and try amazing food and drink. Our guide, Wendel from Brazil, gave us a great experience as a Portuguese speaker and someone who has learned about Lisbon's food and history as a new resident. We experienced several different restaurants and some of the special dishes that the city is known for.

We had a great experience with this food tour! Wendel was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about both the food and the history of the city. The food was amazing and we had a large variety of options to try. Would highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of taking the Food Lovers Evening Tour throughout Lisbon with a wonderful guide, Alba Espadad. She was just amazing and went over and beyond to help me retrieve my backpack which I had left in an Uber. If it wasn't for Alba, I would have never seen my bag again! Now for the actual tour!! Alba showed me some of the hidden gems of Portugal!! We stopped at 4 of the most amazing places for pastry, delicious food, and then dessert! All the places had such a nice ambiance to them. The first place was adorned with beautiful flowers, and the main place was built into the cliffs and offered breathtaking views of the countryside and water. Carlos was delightful! This tour far exceeded our expectations. Carlos gave us insights to the wonderful food and drinks we were having but also the history and culture of Lisbon. He showed us unique spots we never would have found on our own! I highly recommend this tour and to ask for Carlos!

We had a wonderful time on our evening food tour with Paula. We visited 4 different sites, two wine and cheese stores and two sit down restaurants. The food and wine were wonderful as expected, but the high points for me were the interactions with the staff/owners in each establishment. Everyone was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and took the time the talk with us about their love of food. Spending the evening with Paula was a treat. It was like visiting a friend who happened to live in Lisbon. We had a wonderful evening and recommend it highly. Thanks Paula, much love to you!

Our food experience with Paula was incredible! The dishes were unique and full of flavor—definitely something different, but so delicious. The wine was top notch, and while some of the drinks were a bit strong, it just made the experience even more memorable. Paula made everything so enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Darita was our tour guide. She is exceptional! She was punctual with meeting us at the meeting location, provided lots of information on the neighborhoods we walked through, selected good choices for our tastings, and was a joy to spend the evening with! This tour is great for adults (not sure how this would land with young children). Great activity to book during your trip to Lisbon!

We had a wonderful evening with Paula on a 1:1 tour on a very wet and rainy night in Lisboa. Paula could have easily cancelled the tour as she was travelling out of the country the very next day. We are so glad she did not. Her warm personality and communication style made the evening extra special. Our food and wine pairings were just right and our final stop was so memorable as we tasted a very special Mescal wine and had a wonderful conversation about life with the owner. Paula also helped us make sure we had an Uber ready to get us back to our hotel.

Thank you so much for taking us on the food tour, it was amazing. We absolutely loved the restaurants you took us to and the food we tried was great and definitely a full meal. Our guide was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Our first stop, with the cheese and Moscatel, was a highlight, it was so interesting to hear from the owner about the food and wine.

We just had the most incredible food tour with Darida!! She took us to some wonderful places, introduced us to new foods and traditions and knew all about the history of every food and neighborhood. She was so nice and even let us stop to take photos and buy some special tea. We will be back and will try to book some time with Darida again. Thank you so much!!

We spent a lovely evening with Ilana, learning about the neighborhood, government and her background. The locations that were chosen for the tastings were wonderful - such kind proprietors and delicious food.

We had a lovely time going to some really interesting small restaurants and having some very special food and wine. Elena was a very friendly host. I would definitely recommend the trip.

My husband and enjoyed this walking/food/wine tour our second night in Lisbon. We absolutely LOVED it and would highly recommend it. Our guide, Paula, was wonderful, knowledgeable and kind. We felt like we were dining with an old friend by the second dish. I would encourage you to request Paul if booking this tour. She really enhanced our experience and knew so much about the foods, wine, neighborhood and country that she was happy to share. Have fun and bom appetite!

We had a really lovely evening with Felippe as our guide. He was well versed in the history of Lisbon but also brought information about Brazil, Spain, and Hungary. Conversation was easy and we enjoyed getting to know him. The food at all the restaurants we visited was generous and delicious. Even things we weren't sure we would like we really liked! We're glad we had this experience and are thankful that Felippe was our guide!

This was brilliant. We were the only people on the tour (a couple) and we were guided by Paula. The food was outstanding everywhere we went, with a beer or a glass of wine to accompany. With Paula it felt like you were out to dinner with a friend who happened to live in Lisbon and just knows all the best spots. She also works as a city guide/history guide and infuses this into the experience. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. In total we got to taste 6 amazing dishes, which we ate at a very relaxed pace, and saw a whole new part of town as well. You definitely won’t regret this.

I really enjoyed this tour! The guide was very nice, welcoming, and made sure there was always a good atmosphere. Not only did we get to try some fun local experiences, but we also learned a lot about popular history. It felt like I got to know the city much better. She made sure everyone in the group was relaxed and having fun. It was perfectc for me as a solo traveler. Highly recommended!

This was a well organized tour. Our guide, Natalia, loved sharing her experiences in Lisbon with our group. As we walked from place to place, she shared how Lisbon has evolved and took the time to show us unique shops and buildings along our walk. She was exceptionally warm and knowledgeable. As for the food, this is not your average tourist “have a green wine, here’s some sausage, pastel de natais”, there is NOTHING wrong with that your, but this tour was not that. Instead, Natalia took us to 4 local spots to try a wide variety of food. In total, here’s what I remember trying: Drinks: local beer, red, white wines Food: olives, potato and egg dish, cauliflower with sweet potato pure, stewed beef, shrimp and garlic sauce, cod fish on toasty with peppers, bruschetta, pastel de nata…there were a few more dishes that I can remember. We went to places I never would have thought trying and I’m really glad that I had a nice variety of Potuguese tapas. Highly recommend this tour and Natalia!

The local guides were great fun. It was a lot of walking. The food was not the point. One of our stops was the food mall, then a couple of salt cods, with local wine. Local sausage and cheese.

Great food; some of the best we had while in Portugal. The friendly knowledgeable guide had some fun surprises along the way.

The food tour was a great experience for our first evening in Lisbon. Our guide Luis was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed all of the food and drinks we tried. Everything was delicious and it was fun to learn about the history of the different items.

I arrived Lisbon 2 hours before the tour. I WhatsApp the tour operator stating I was going to be late. He responded right away. I connected with our guide for the night and she was VERY accommodating. Sareena was knowledgeable and kind. All the food was soooo amazing. As a solo traveler I often worry I might get left behind But the group was great and inclusive. Great food great vibes! Definitely recommend! They also give you 10% off the next tour !!

Hugely fun, interesting, and delicious culinary and social experience with an outstanding guide Henrique. Nine close senior friends enjoyed learning and befriending Henrique on a four part journey experiencing memorable Portuguese food, wine, and muscatel. The food tour exceeded all,of our expectations!

Henrique showed our group a perfect evening in Lisbon. We were taken to places that I feel most travelers would never stumble upon. We ended up visiting one of the restaurants on our tour two additional times on our trip because we were so impressed. This is the right way to get to know Lisbon.

We did this tour on our first evening in Lisbon - it was an excellent way to start a holiday. Our guide was so welcoming and knowledgeable, and went out of her way to accommodate us and provide additional information. Would recommend without hesitation!

Natalia our tour guide was personable. As we walked from restaurant to restaurant she explained a bit about the city and when we arrived at the red she also explained the food and wine items. The food was very good and we enjoyed her company. It was a wonderful experience for my husband and me.

The guide our group had was not informative or knowledgeable. The food on the trip was great and the Olive Oil stop where we interacted with the owners was excellent. Unfortunately, the rest of the stops did not include interactions from the shops and the guide had no stories or information to share.

Our guide was lovely and every single place we stopped offered something unique and authentic! The tuna starter was a particular favourite among our group, and the pork main was awesome!

There were so many memorable moments that it is hard to pick one, so the most memorable things were trying different types of food and trying different wines. I also liked meeting the owners of the shops and learning about the wines or learning about the olive oils. The host/guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the history of portugal. It was also nice to speak to the the other person on the tour and to get to know her. Overall it was a great experience that I would definitely do again.

Ilana was a wonderful guide - she had a wonderful sense of Lisbon and took us to some really incredible spots with staff that were truly passionate about food. She also was a wonderful conversationalist! If you want to feel like you're on your very own episode of an Anthony Bourdain show, don't miss this tour!

Great experience! Rodrigo was an excellent guide - friendly and good at keeping conversation going with the guests. We stopped by five different small places for a very nice sampler of different dishes.
