Bill was an excellent guide for the e bike tour. Also, he recommended a Fado restaurant, we went, an it was fantastic.

Itinerary
.Comércio Square: This Square was the centerpiece of the reconstruction that took place after the earthquake of 1755 which has reduced Lisbon to rubble. In a privilege location, facing the river, this is the most popular square in Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe.
Learn about Alfama's connection to Fado music. A genre so pungent and touching that it will not easily leave anyone indifferent. It's even said that Fado makes the cobblestone streets cry.
.National Pantheon: Also known as St. Engratia Church, it’s a majestic baroque monument that took three centuries to build (from 1682 to 1966) and is the resting place of the most important cultural and political figures in the country.
It is one of the most important monasteries and mannerist buildings in the country. The monastery also contains the royal pantheon of the Braganza monarchs of Portugal.
Graça is on the highest of the seven hills, Graça is located next to the iconic São Jorge Castle and this area is famous for its two beautiful viewpoints: Senhora do Monte belvedere and Graça belvedere, also known as Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen viewpoint. During the 20th century this neighbourhood became a residential area for factory workers mainly. At that time this neighbourhood was characterized by its courtyards, traditional taverns and grocery stores, hosted popular festivities and the first public school was founded here (Voz do Operário) as well as the arrival of the iconic 28 tram.
Crossover the castle coast, climb to Graça to see the most incredible picture of the Lisbon Castle.
Lisbon’s oldest neighbourhood and the most charming one, it’s considered the historic soul of Lisbon and its steep, cobblestoned lanes stand just as they were in medieval times. This area is best known for its fado houses and the great festivities of Lisbon which honors “Santo António” (St. Anthony) during the month of June, luring thousands of people into the streets. This neighbourhood resisted to the terrible earthquake of 1755 and this is one of the main reasons that contributed to the preservation of its authenticity. This charming area retains some of the Moorish atmosphere with its alleys, staircases and clothes drying on the windows.
.Lisbon Cathedral: Officially referred to as Santa Maria Maior de Lisboa (Patriarchal Cathedral of Saint Mary Major) is the oldest place of worship in Lisbon, dating back to the mid 12th century
.Praça do Martim Moniz is located in Lisbon, near Rossio. The square honors the nobleman who, in 1147, helped D. Afonso Henriques to conquer the castle by crossing the door so that his companions could pass through
....See Lisbon Downtown , Tgaus River from one of the highest hills of Lisbon.

I forgot to leave a review for an amazing experience i had last year!! I forgot the guys name but I think he was a Dutch bald average height man if im not mistaken! He was so great, patient & informative...I will do this tour again when I visit again!
Really enjoyable cycle up and down the roads of Alfama and surroundings. 3 hours in total. Good information from Julien about the history and the city. I was surprised it was 80% on roads with traffic. A little scary for people not confident with cycling in traffic. Bikes were good too get up the hills easily. There was a problem with one bike but it was quickly replaced.
Exceptional guided tour. Amal and Peter are excellent. Peter’s knowledge of history is amazing. Amal was very helpful to my spouse who was a bit uncertain about some of the riding situations. Considerate and kind she helped her feel very safe. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat.
Outstanding! Highly recommend. Peter was our excellent tour guide. He provided so much information during our tour. He was great and took very good care of our group which had a cyclists of mixed experiences/capabilities. Lisbon is a great city to visit. We were on cruise ship and it was very short walk to bike rental shop.
So fun and learned so much! Expert guide! Make sure you’re ready for a historic way to learn about the city. Bikes were really easy to ride.
This is the best way to “get your bearings” in a new big city. Obviously, you see way more on an E-bike than you would by walking or being in a car.
Ricardo was a great guide. Fun for the whole family. You will need to sign a waiver for any kids under 15 and you will be going up and down hills in traffic. Our 12 year old daughter handled it well. Awesome way to see Lisbon and some great viewpoints.
Our tour was led by Peter and our “human shield” was Jeff. It was fantastic!! Peter was super knowledgeable about all the historic sites in Lisbon and displayed a real gift of engaging all the tour guests. We were all from different countries and ages. I was with my three daughters and one of their comments was “we wish we had history teachers like Peter… he made it all interesting and fun”. I was also concerned about the bike size because I am very petite and they were able to fit me with a smaller bike which had different settings than the other bikes. Jeff was great protecting us all as we navigated the Lisbon streets and kept a close eye on me to advise me of what setting I should be using to navigate the varying terrain. We highly recommend this tour and both of our guides.
Peter was a great guide showing us around Lisbon and sharing some interesting facts, stories and history. The E-bike was a great choice for Lisbon.
Fun day and a great way to get around Lisbon. Tour guide was knowledgeable. Provide a good history and overview of the different areas within Lisbon.
Oriana was our guide. Very friendly, knowledgable, and fun. Very happy with tour, would recommend to anyone!
Our tour guide was excellent (can't remember his name) & the tour was fascinating. I would say I am a seasoned biker & have used an E-bike BUT this is a challenging bike ride. The tour description states "explore Lisbon’s hills with ease" "glide without breaking a sweat". Expect a bumpy ride over cobblestones, sharp downhill turns, navigating over tram tracks, and a lot of vehicle & pedestrian traffic.
Shame there are no extra stars!!! Peter was an amazing guide, so much knowledge, made it all fun and super informative - also kept us safe and gave clear instructions on the handling of the bikes, etc. Bikes were of great quality too and booking was handled efficiently. Obrigada, ate breve xxx
Candidly our group was very large 18 of us so very difficult to navigate the narrow streets of Lisbon with cars and vans parked blocking roads compounded by having so many cyclists in our group. Our guides were great with good knowledge of the city and good humor. The e-bikes are showing their age and they had a delay in engaging the assist which wasn’t great on the steep hills. Anyway for us it wasn’t a great experience
Winchell has made a very interesting and informative tour.
Winchell was a great tour guide. Thank you.
Cameron was an excellent guide. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The e-bikes were great quality and easy to use on the hilly and narrow cobblestone roads.
Our guide , Peter, was extraordinary. His knowledge and ability to share it , while guiding us through the streets of Lisbon safely, was stellar. Best 3 hours we spent in Lisbon.
Excellent knowledge and service from Peter and Seb.
Our guide Joao was fabulous. He knew his stuff and ldealt calmly and immediately to a variety of mishaps due to extreme traffic and a malfunctioning e-bike et al. So top marks for Joao! Everyone felt safe because of him. But this tour is actually very scary/stressful because of steep hills and steep declines in narrow high traffic streets.
Tour guides Win + Gon were great. Would do again. Watch out for pedestrians.
We had a great time with Jet - She was an excellent tour guide and we had a really wonderful overview and tour of the city. It was also very good that we had tour group size of only 6 people - which is an ideal number, versus bigger ebike tours we have done. would highly recommend!
Informative & fun. David was full of historical knowledge to impart. Mixed group but all friendly & common language was english
Excellent way to see the city. Very fun and easy riding. Peter was an amazing guide. I don’t think they do the food tasting any longer but it was amazing
This tour thru the city was fantastic but a bit dangerous feeling at times because of the traffic. Sylvestro was an excellent guide, very protective of us and gave us excellent historical information.
David was a great guide! Knows the history, the food and keeps everyone engaged. Bikes are easy and fun to use. It was unfortunate that one of the bikes malfunctioned so that delayed our tour time but if all goes smooth it’s worth the tour!
We had such a brilliant tour with Peter! He was a fantastic guide, so knowledgeable, kind and friendly. We felt very safe despite how busy Lisbon is and Peter spent plenty of time making sure everyone was comfortable with using their bikes safely before we began. I felt we saw far more than we would have on a tuk tuk tour and the e-bikes made the hills so easy! I wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with Boost and I’d specifically ask for Peter to be our guide!
Peter was a brilliant guide. The tour was very well set out and Peter very knowledgeable.
What a fantastic experience! Not only was this e-bike tour a great value, it was easily the most fulfilling guided tour I've had the good fortune to sign-up for. The desk staff were super-friendly and helpful upon arrival, and gearing up was quick and easy, with proactive offers of washroom and water fill station use. The e-bikes were in great shape and made touring up and down the steep hills of old Lisbon effortless. But let me tell you, having Peter as our guide was awesome! He could easily pass for a professor of history, having a depth and breadth of knowledge that he willingly and passionately shared with us at each stop. I learned SO much about the history of Portugal (and other countries, anecdotally) and was almost disappointed when we were ready to move on to the next stop. At the end of our 3 hour tour I was left wanting more and could easily have done another couple of hours! Thank you to the entire team, and special THANK YOU to Peter, HIGHLY recommended!!
William was our guide and was extremely versed in the history of the city. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone.
Great way to have a quick look around some of Lisbon, fun and v informative. Our guide Jet was the best and made the tour even more memorable , very articulate with great knowledge of Lisbon and Portugal’s history. Make sure you ensure she is your guide when you book
Our guide, Peter, captivated us with his knowledge of Lisbon and the history of Portugal. The bikes were easy to use and we felt very safe. Thank you - a very fun way to see the city!
Jet was a great God. She was fun and informative and super welcoming. She was also very careful and helpful in orientation to the E bikes and Philly conditions of Lisbon. I would highly recommend asking for her tour, and her English is exceptional.
Our tour guide Peter was great, very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend taking this tour, especially with Peter.
Peter was our guide amazing !! so much information a wonderful person guide and friend in Portugal!! Company was a pleasure to have booked w them!!
Loved this bike tour today. Our guide Bill was so lovely. He provided great historical information and made it interesting and humorous. He was so helpful, not just with looking after us but when we bombarded him with questions after the tour about Lisbon in general and gave great tips and knowledge! Would 100% recommend this tour the bikes we were well maintained and the route was varied. Thanks to Bill for making it a fab experience ☺️
fabulous tour with great guidance for safety and navigating steep hills. Peter was like an encyclopedia of great history and insights to make this area so interesting and help us really understand the impact of this country on the world. loved it!!
Fantastic way to see the city and learn the history with Peter one of the best guides in Lisbon. It doesn’t get any better on e bike with the power to take you up and down the hills and streets with ease so fun so simple. The history and knowledge of Peter our guide is incredible and he is the most amazing resource for anything and everything for visitors. A must do and the best three hours in Lisbon for my wife and I hands down so amazing. Highly recommend to anyone.
We had a wonderful time. Our guide Bill was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
This was not a good experience. There were 13 people to start, way too many. While the description says you don’t need e bike experience, it is not easy to ride up steep cobblestone streets in serious traffic while learning how to use an e bike. Nearly half the group bailed out partway through the tour and found our own way back to the start.
We had a tour with Julien, he was a super tour guide! Perfect tour.
We had a lovely time with Peter as our tour guide! Very informative and with the e-scooters the whole trip was a breeze! Plenty of stops along the way for pictures and to rehydrate, highly recommend
As others have said e-bike is THE best way to see Lisbon rather than a walking tour (which we normally get.) We were a small group of six and Tony our guide ensured that we were safe. Tony was a brilliant guide giving us a good historical overview, but delivered in an interesting way but with some humour. I would not hesitate to book again with this company Boost.
Took the E-bike tour with Peter. We have taken many tours in many places. This was THE BEST!!. Peter was funny and very knowledgeable Saw a lot and learned a lot, Fat bike tires easily handled the cobblestone streets and rail lines. E Assist made the hills easy.
Sebas was a very nice guide, funny guy with nice stories. He speaks fluent Portugese and knows alot about the city. The stop at his old neighbour was very nice with a local liquor. We saw some nice neighborhoods of Lisbon. However, the e-bikes were not that good. You could tell by the gears and brakes that they have been used alot. The electrical support felt very unpredictable. Overall it was a nice experience.
Greeted by Peter who gave us a warm welcome and clearly explained how the e-bikes worked . We set off on what was a really informative & fun 3 hours . Brought us through the maze of side streets that we would not have seen on foot until we reached the heights of Miradoura da Senhora do Monte. Great way to see the sights , highly recommended, we will be back to do another in the future.
We went with a group of 4 friends and had David as our tour guide! He was excellent - kind and incredibly knowledgable! He was really good about making sure we were comfortable on the e-bikes. Fair warning - the bike ride can get pretty bumpy and sometimes it’s difficult to navigate the other cars and pedestrians on the narrow cobblestone streets. But David did an amazing job helping us navigate while teaching us so much about Portuguese culture and history.
Amazing, scenenic bike tour of Lisbon! If u are not a biker would not recommend because hilly , and traffic, but we loved it! See places , small alleys u can only do by foot! Tony was an amazing knowledgeable guide, and great sense of humor ! If u wanted more history he's your nan! A definite great way to see Lisbon!
leader did not ise hand signals for the tour which would have been helpful- she did a great job showing us Lisbon
