Being one of the least adorned, it is perhaps one of the richest churches, a tribute to peace, tolerance and unity.
A tribute of the city of Lisbon to the victims of intolerance and religious fanaticism resulting from the Jewish massacre of 1506.
Rossio Square is one of the oldest and most beautiful squares in Lisbon. For more than six centuries it has been the scene of several important events in the city's history.
It opened in 1846 and has overlooked some of the city's greatest historical events.
An imposing station whose construction date is sure to surprise you.
The entrance to Lisbon's most cosmopolitan neighborhood.
The public transport that is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful "monuments" of the city. We will be able to access the free area of the Elevator.
The stage for passionate revolutions.
Built in the XVI Century, this was the earliest Jesuit church in Portugal. The building served as the society's home church in Portugal for over 200 years, before the Jesuits were expelled from the country. Inside is one of the world's most valuable chapels.
Lisbon's nightlife district, with over 500 years of History. La bohéme, the Lisbon way.
This small square is the transition zone between Chiado and Bairro Alto.
Where coffee was launched and where Fernando Pessoa and other intelectuals and artists created the modernist magazine Orpheu.
São Carlos National Theatre is still today the only Portuguese theatre geared towards producing and presenting opera and choral and symphonic music.
The triumphal arch that illustrates any Lisbon travel book.
The most agitated and charming street in downtown Lisbon.
One of the most beautiful squares in Europe, where the city ends and the Tagus begins.

Belen was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable and friendly!!
Our guide, Andy Yogi transformed the Lisbon city centre's buildings and paths into stories and anecdotes of interest. His history knowledge was great. We had a group of 10, which worked well. We'd highly recommend him.
The tour with Miriam was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, that we booked another tour with her. Highly recommend.
This was totally a highlight of my trip! I've never been on a walking tour before. The guide made great jokes and educated us well. You pay what you think is fair after the tour and can use card. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed because things are so far apart in Lisbon but this walk helped me to figure out my center and where to walk from there.
Claudia was outstanding. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and sights of the area. She shared recommendations about local food, restaurants and places worth exploring further. It was an excellent tour with an exceptional guide
Miriam did a fantastic job. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. She answered all the questions from the group. She was professional and courteous. Her presentation was engaging and fun. We are very happy with the way Miriam conducted the tour. Thank you!
We would highly recommend Elvira as a tour Guide. We are finding Lisboa to be an amazing experiencie and she was highly eloquent in explaining to us the background and histories of its streets and monuments. She gets a 10/10. Book with her you won’t be disappointed.

I did the tour with Claudia and it was a great introduction to Portugal. She provided a lot of great historical context for the city and it was the perfect way to start my trip. I also really appreciated the list of recommendations she sent us afterwards of things to eat, foods to try, neighborhoods to visit, etc. I highly recommend starting your vacation with this tour!
Amazing story teller! Great energy! Great tour!!
Odelia was great, a really enjoyable and informative morning! Thankyou.
Best way to see Lisbon is with a local who is passionate about the city. Margarita was one of the best - personal, knowledgeable, humorous, historian. She was also extremely thoughtful in her questions and opinions about the Portuguese history. She also gave us tips on local places to eat , tourist places to avoid, and a list of her best of the best. Loved her passion and it showed in her presentations. Highly recommend!
Belen was exceptional! Highly engaging, went above and beyond with her knowledge and passion for Portugal's history. Great storytelling, making the history come alive! Highly recommend! Do as soon as you arrive to get the most benefit for your stay. Don't forget to tip generously, it's worth it!

Claudia is a most entertaining & informative guide. Super knowledgeable & passionate about Lisbon - a true Portuguese!! She entertained us for the full 2.5 hrs of the walking tour.
We did the English tour with Claudia which was excellent. A comfortable amount of walking taking in (and learning about) aspects of Lisbon which were new to us. Claudia's passion, humour and knowledge made our first full day in Lisbon a great one. Obrigado!
Amazing. Belén was so wonderful and knowledgable!
Super educational and fun tour, Belen was amazing, so passionate and knowledgeable! Incredible mix of history, fun facts, and hidden gems :) Thank you Belen!!!!!!
We had a wonderful tour with Odelia, who took us around the beautiful historic centre of Lisbon for around 3 hours. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city, architecture, art, and Portugese life (esp as she had lived in France previously). Really enjoyed learning different facts about the places we visited- everything was presented in an interesting and entertaining way. Odelia was also very considerate of everyone’s needs. It was a great way to spend our first morning in the city! We always try to do these tours in every city we visit, it enhances the visit so much more than wandering around ourselves!
Really great tour, the guide belem was especially nice interesting and knowledgeable. 10/10
Belen was an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. She was engaging and could answer any questions about the city. Would definitely book Belen again. Highly recommend her for a city centre tour. We really enjoyed it.
I was impressed with Andy’s knowledge and personality. It was fun and relaxing. He consistently look after that nobody is missing and replied to everyone questions. I would take another trip with him anytime Alex
Andy was a great guide So informative. So many interesting snippets about Lisboa that you wouldn’t get from a guide book. Highly recommended
I was SO fortunate to have taken a Lisbon walking tour with Fernanda. I loved her energy and enthusiasm in describing a city and country she loves so much. This was my second visit to Lisbon but after her tour, I felt like my first visit paled in comparison. My only regret after taking her city tour was that I couldn’t sign up for her Alfama and Sintra tours! She’s THAT good, I promise! ☺️
A Must-Do Walking Tour of Lisbon with Claudia! We had an excellent walking tour of Lisbon with Claudia, and I would highly recommend her to anyone visiting the city. She was energetic, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared a wealth of information about Lisbon’s history, culture, neighborhoods, and landmarks while keeping the tour interesting and enjoyable throughout. What really set Claudia apart was her genuine desire to help us make the most of our time in Lisbon. Along the way, she recommended additional must-see places, experiences, and things to do based on what we might enjoy. Even after the tour ended, her helpfulness continued—she sent us an email with all of her recommendations so we could easily refer to them during the rest of our stay. Claudia went above and beyond what we expected from a walking tour. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, and thoughtful follow-up made this much more than just a sightseeing tour—it gave us a great introduction to Lisbon and helped us plan the rest of our visit. If you’re visiting Lisbon, especially for the first time, book a tour with Claudia early in your stay. You’ll not only come away with a much better understanding of this beautiful city, but also with excellent ideas for what to see and do afterward. We would absolutely recommend her!

We toured central Lisboa today with Fernanda. She was a fantastic guide; super knowledgeable about the history of Lisboa and was really engaging and friendly. Would highly recommend.
I had a brilliant walking tour led by Belen. She was approachable, full of energy, and clearly knew her subject matter inside out. Rather than just listing off historical facts, she has a real talent for storytelling that kept the entire narrative engaging and exciting from start to finish. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience.
Natalia amazing guide she made the tour really interesting.
Belen was a great tour guide. She knew so much about the history of Lisbon and shared it in an interesting way. She took good care of the tour participants, looking for shady spots when stopping etc.
