The driver, Maria, was at the pickup location with my name so its easy to find. Maria is very good and professional. Gave us information and safety recommendations. Totally recommended.

Dear Viator, the “large” confirmation below shows our reservation. We paid $72.— to be picked up at the Lisbon, Portugal airport on September 10 with a private driver waiting for us after baggage pickup to drive us to the PortoBay Liberdade hotel, Lisbon. Our plane was on time, we were quickly out from baggage as we were in the front of the plane and had priority baggage. We did see the name Daniel Kennedy on a small iPad on the bottom of 3 names in the pickup area. We told the lady standing there who we were 3 times….I kept repeating “Kennedy” and she nodded and talked to a man waiting in the holding area. After telling them several times, the one man finally came to get our bags and quickly escorted us to the garage. He then repeated the hotel name and I said, “no”, it is the PortoBay Liberdade as noted in the reservation. He then said , “are you Anna”? And I said, “no, and I told the lady in the pit 3 times who I was - the name on the board, Daniel Kennedy”.. He jumped out of the car, opened the trunk, put our bags out, slammed the trunk and said, “I have to leave you here, I must get my passenger”. I almost fainted. So, we walked back to the pickup “pit” at the Lisbon airport waiting area and tried to communicate as best I could in some Portuguese and no one…..and I REPEAT - NO ONE could find our driver or why our name was on the iPad. The lady whom acted clueless said to sit and wait. Now I am texting and calling anyone who has texted me…I find out that it is a company named MERIDIAN….NOT VIATOR whom is supposed to be there. As a reminder - my husband has Parkinson’s disease and he also need to have rest and food - the reason I PAID $72. US for a short ride to the hotel which is $25 by taxi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am livid at this point, but finally, after almost an hour or more, a man rushes up to me and says, “come with me”. He did not identify himself other than Meridian or what was happening. I am embarrassed to say I went with him and we walked a long distance out to a parking area with buses where a man driving a car was waiting. He said, “I will take you to the PortoBay Hotel”. I AM FURIOUS at this lack of service confusion and request a FULL REFUND immediately! This is inexcusable. I have used Viator for years without any issues, and this Meridian is not what you want as your representative!!! Please refund to my method of payment - Visa card and reply as soon as possible with a confirmation of the transaction. Thank you, Sherry L and Daniel R Kennedy

Driver patiently waited for my wife and to clear customs and collect our bags. She greeted us with a sign with my name on it. Assisted us with luggage then after we arrive at Residence Inn she proceeded to remove luggage from vehicle and literally carried pieces to front door.

I am so pleasantly happy I chose Meridian4people. I booked through Viator for my parents who are older and do not speak English. I spoke with Monica who had arranged for the driver, Sofia, to pick them up. Their communication was so top notch! They read all my emails ahead of time about flight number, about my parents being an older Asian couple, received a photo so they knew who to pick up, held a sign, and waited about an hour and a half after my parents had to wait for their luggage. They were incredible! I’m so pleased I used their service and highly highly recommend! Thank you so much!!!

Driver communicated with us as we left the plane. He wass waiting right as we exited from the visa clearance area. The car was clean and comfortable. He was great with communication, pointed out some sights, drove carefully. He made for a great trip to our hotel and would highly recommend.

Our airport transfer started off pretty hectic and confusing. The driver wasn’t where the other drivers were gathered, and trying to call for help only added to the chaos—it wasn’t very helpful. That said, once we finally connected with our driver, everything turned around. He was wonderful—friendly, informative, helped with our bags, and made the rest of the ride smooth and pleasant.
