He provided a lot of engaging conversation and gave context to the places we visited. Fabio provided many options on how we can visit our two stops. We would book with this company again the next time we are in Portugal.

Travel in comfort and at your pace. Riu Cesar was knowledgeable and attentive to what we needed. There were two stops that allowed us to see towns that the train would not have provided.

We enjoyed our experience with Cesar from Lisbon to Porto and back. Cesar was like being with your favorite cousin on a road trip. Very accommodating and communicative. Cesar provided options and recommendations for us to have an enjoyable time while traveling.

Our visit to Portugal was not long enough so we thought we'd splurge and pay for a driver to stop in a couple of places we couldn't see from the train. We had an excellent driver. He spoke English extremely well and was very personable and professional. He shared a lot of interesting history about the towns we visited and about Portugal in general. We also enjoyed discussing the current way of life for people in Portugal. Our driver also helped us out in a bind which was much appreciated. We would highly recommend this driver and experience.

We chose a round trip from Lisbon to Porto with our amazing driver César. During our journey, he told us a lot of history about Portugal from the old days to modern days. During the drive we stopped by several stops, Obidos, Nazare, Coimbra ... in thise stop César had been very attentive to tell us the specialties of these places and make sure we see the best of the places. Super appreciate with his kindness, when we need help re-booking a restaurant as I wasn't able to do it on my end. Great service, will definitely recommend my friends to use his company.

Fabio was a great driver and was very knowledgeable about the areas we went through. I had a requested a change in itinerary the night before our trip and Cesar made a suggestion right away which we gladly accepted. Would very much recommend RM Cesar and Fabio as a driver from our experiences!

Lisbon & Porto Private Luxury Road Trip: We had a wonderful trip with Cesar. He was ready for us at the Lisbon cruise port when we departed the ship and navigated traffic smoothly to our stops in Obidos and Nazare, and ultimately to Porto. He is a very professional driver and has a beautiful car. Cesar provided us with a wealth of local knowledge including recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing opportunities. We would definitely tour with Cesar again and will recommend him to our travel agent and friends.

Cesar added so much to our trip from Lisbon to Porto! We learned history of Portugal and stopped at Obidos and Navares, both great stops to allow us to see a bit of Portugal. What a 1st class experience! Cesar picked us up in Lisbon for a transfer to Porto. It was a great ride with stops in Obido and Nazare. Obido was amazing! Nazare is mainly a beach town so we didn't spend as much time there. Cesar allowed plenty of time for us to explore each location and still arrive in Porto with enough time to enjoy the day. He had a great knowledge or history and just enough general conversation for a three hours drive. He also gave us great recommendations for our time in Porto. I highly recommend!

What a 1st class experience! Cesar was such a gentleman. Our ride was 5 1/2 hours, with stops in Obido and Naraze. and he had just amount of good conversation and knew and shared an abundant amount of history. We had ample time to visit both Obido and Naraze and still arrived to Porto early enough to enjoy the day. He give us some good ideas of places to go while in Porto. I was happy that I used his service as opposed to taking the train or flying between Lisbon and Porto.

We had a great time during our ride from Lisbon to Porto. We made a couple of well planned stops. Our driver, Patrick, was knowledgeable, patient, and fun. He did a great job!

Hugo was fantastic!! He explained all of the sights as we drove. He stopped in several interesting places, allowing us to explore and enjoy each towns picturesque views. A great way to travel from Porto to Lisbon.

Since we are from the U.S. we found all of the information to be fascinating. The trip was relaxing and we enjoyed becoming familiar with the countryside from Lisbon to Porto. Clearly passionate about Portugal and providing as much info as possible to passengers. It was definitely on the pricier side especially compared to some other tours but definitely book this if you can afford it!

We loved our transfer between Lisbon and Porto! Ricardo was an excellent and smooth driver, and we felt very safe and comfortable in the luxury van. We stopped at Obidos and Nazare--both lovely--where he gave us some helpful and interesting background information. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable way to travel and get some insight from a native along the way. The extra stops to see a little more of Portugal along the way is also nice option. A little more time at the stops would be nice for those who are not in a rush to get to Porto.

This was the perfect arrangement, Cesar picked us up at the Lisbon Airport when we arrived in Portugal, then drove us to our hotel in Porto, with 2 different sight seeing stops along the way. A 5-6 hour day. So comfortable, and easy, the best way to navigate a transfer like this after an overnight flight with no sleep! And manage to not lose a day of the Portugal trip either. Cesar is a wonderful driver and guide, so knowledgeable and professional , and clearly enjoys sharing the country’s history, as well as giving additional tips and recommendations for you to make the most of your vacation. He is the BEST, and we highly recommend booking him for at least one day trip, if not more, while you visit Portugal!

Viator contracts out to other tour companies. The one assigned to us was not good. Our driver had to drive from Lisbon to Porto to pick us up, and drive us back to Lisbon, because his boss got confused (?). We were never told the plan for the trip: where and when we’d have lunch (we had to find a restaurant on our own), etc. The driver did the best he could given his exhaustion

Cesar was absolutely amazing! We wish we could give him more than 5 stars! We used his service for 3 transports from Porto to Lisbon, Lisbon to Lagos (Algarve) and then back to Lisbon. Cesar was always early and communicated with us effectively about where and when he would pick us up. Cesar was friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about everywhere in Portugal. He gave us wonderful recommendations for places to visit and local things to do. We stopped at one winery during our trip and that was a lovely excursion. We always had great conversations during our rides. He made us feel safe every step of the way as it was just me and my sister traveling together. We had no issues getting to any place and we were early everywhere we got which allowed us to maximize our time in each city. Cesar made us feel at ease with transporting to 3 different cities and we truly believe our trip was better because of his service as we did not have to worry one bit about getting to each place and there was no stress on our end about anything. We couldn’t recommend him any more highly!! He made our trip the best and the next time we go to Portugal, we will absolutely go back to him for his service!

Initially, I'd wanted to take the train from Lisbon to Porto and back as I love train rides. However, I found this through Viator while booking my other day trips, and I saw there were options to stop in Nazaré and other towns—places I wanted to visit if I had extra time—so I decided to try this instead. César was my guide, and he was wonderful. Both professional and personable, I learned a lot about Portuguese history and culture from him. On my last night in Porto, I unfortunately experienced some food poisoning, and when César picked me up the following day, he kindly stopped at a pharmacy at one of our destinations to get some meds for me. This was a terrific experience and a different way to experience some of Portugal. César is truly knowledgeable and generous, and one of the highlights for me was listening to his stories and wisdom. He also provided me with detailed recommendations for each destination. I would recommend his services to anyone, and I hope to cross paths again when I'm back in Portugal!

This was a splurge for us and wow was it worth it. Fabio was fantastic - very knowledgeable and flexible with the day. Obidos and Nazare were gorgeous and I’m so glad we were able to see both.

My wife and I have been fortunate enough to do many private tours worldwide (New Zealand, Australia, and Italy, to name a few), but this was by far the best yet. First, let's get to the basics. 1) Mr. Cesar's car was roomy, comfortable, and spotless. It's very obvious he takes pride in his car, and it shows. This is not always the case with these types of services, and much appreciated when it is. 2) He's an extremely safe driver. Getting us to our destinations on time without feeling like he was putting us at risk in the process. Second, the sites. 1) One of the best parts of this trip was not just a smooth trip up to Porto without taking the train but the stops on the side. We saw some unique places along the way that we would never have seen if we just planned the trip on our own. 2) Our favorite was Nazaré because we both love watching big wave surfing. While this wasn't the season to see the amazing wave there, it was incredible to be in that spot and imagine it breaking. 3) Óbidos was also really cool. This small medieval town was incredible to see in person and a fun place to stretch your legs and break up the trip. Highly recommend it. Finally, the man. 1) Mr. Cesar was a pleasure to get to know over our two-day adventure together. He's extremely friendly, personable, and great to talk with. Our chats about the history of Portugal, music, good beer, and travel made the drive fly by. By the end, we felt like fast friends. We still owe him a beer tour in our home state of Vermont anytime he wants to visit. 2) While we've been on many group tours and small private tours like this one, we've never met anyone so perfect for the job. You can tell this is his passion. His dream job. And something he would continue to do even if he hit the lottery. It shows in his love of his country, interest in people, and comfort in getting us where we need to go. It's always nice to come across someone who truly has found their "thing" and shares it with others. We can't recommend enough hiring RM Cesar for your next trip to Portugal. We know that he will be our first call the next time we visit (we absolutely loved it there). Next time for a longer adventure and maybe a wine tour, as we didn't get to do that this time. Mr. Cesar, if you're reading this, I want to thank you again for the wonderful time, and we hope you and the family are well.

Cesar was very accommodating and professional. His associate, Fabio, picked us up in Porto at a non-listed hotel and (at our request) an hour later than the original booking. The car was clean and comfortable (Mercedes E class) with plenty of room. Fabio shared his knowledge and love of Portugal with us on our way to Nazarre and Obidos before dropping us at our hotel in Lisbon. Very relaxing day. I would definitely recommend Cesar and his company!

A great two days of services with RM Caesar. First day we did a day to Evora in the Alentejo region and the second day we did a one way transfer from Lisbon to Porto with two stops, Sintra and Cascais. We enjoyed Cesar’s company and his knowledge. We look forward to working with him more in the future.

We decided to hire a driver to take us from Lisbon to Porto. Cesar was great and worth the money. He took us to two towns on the way to Porto. We eliminated the train ride and were able to see other cities on the way making it more memorable for us. He was very accommodating. The car was clean. And even gave us cookies and water. He was also very helpful and providing recommendations for dinner as well as shopping. Highly recommend.

He adjusted all our stops and itinerary to match our age and physical conditions. continually checked to be sure we were feeling ok. I had wanted to visit Nazare on our ride from Lisbon to Porto and Cesar was the perfect guide as he picked us up in a roomy Jaguar XF and gave us a true understanding of life in Portugal. For me Nazare was a bucket list worthy destination as the ocean was churning in the high winds of the coast. It seemed unimaginable that humans have actually surfed in those waters. Great trip and highly recommend Cesar as a guide on this itinerrary.

Ceaser was an excellent driver, taking us from Porto to Lisbon. He was very responsive to our messages and arrived promptly in a very comfortable Jaguar. At each of our stops along the way he provided us with with tips and history to make the best use of our time. I've already recommended him to a friend traveling soon to Portugal, as this was a great way to get to see more of the country.

We are very glad we arranged for a private transport to Lisbon because it was convenient, and we got to see Nazare and Obidos. However, the car was way too small for 3 passengers with 1 large suitcase each. We had to put a suitcase in the front seat, and the three of us had to cram into the back seat
