Amazing man!! Full of knowledge on the wine, food, history and the culture. He even worked in a visit to a local artist. As a local wine maker, he was a breath of fresh air and was able to give us a local experience rather than a commercialized tour!

Enrico provided a wonderful and informative tour. He brought us to places that we never would have found on our own. The personalized experience included going into a private room where he an I played a little bit of music together. The food was excellent and the wine was great. His RICO wine was among our favorites. We felt like we made a friend while we were in Lisbon and learned a lot about the area. Highly recommended.

Rico was a fantastic host, we had the most amazing evening tasting great food & great wine. The second venue in particular was a perfect setting to see the night in and eat/drink whilst learning all about the history of wine. Rico spoke good English and could understand everything and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, friends, family, business trip, etc. - no caps on amount of wine, port, food, etc. - honestly could not fault the experience at all.

I highly recommend Rico's food and wine tour. My husband and I got to experience food that we would not have tried otherwise because of Rico's knowledge of the best of the local food products, and the wine pairings were all perfect. He was very informative about the local history of Lisbon as a whole and Alfama in particular. We ended up the evening watching a Fado performance and having a glass of Ginja and dessert. Rio was very generous with his time, and it was like being out for an evening with a friend. He was also very considerate of our dietary requests. Don't miss this tour if you're spending any time in Lisbon!

I had such a great experience and felt so privileged to have a wine tour with an actual wine maker. Enrico is so talented and knowledgeable. He’s also very kind and patient. I would love to do more of his tours and would absolutely recommend this food and wine tour.

We had a wonderful evening with Rico! He shared some wines that he made himself! The dishes they were paired with were amazing. It was so interesting to see how the wine enhanced or changed the flavor of the food we shared. We had a nice walk through Lisbon to taste a few wines and have some amazing food. We started as strangers and left as family.

At first we had some difficulty with the meeting point, however Enrico was very patient and kind. Super knowledgeable as he is a wine maker himself, answered a barrage of questions, lol. Food was ok, could have been better. Thanks Enrico! Remember us when you are famous! D and P

Being on a 3 months holiday through Europe, this tour will be one of the highlights, Enrico passion for wine is only matched by his passion for Portugal and food. Amazing wine and the venues were magical. Being French I thought I knew wine and wine making, but Enrico proved I am only a novice. This is the only wine and food tour you need to do in Lisbon.. The tour went over by over an hour, within 10 minutes being on the tour , you felt like you were going out with a friend. We also tried some of his own wine; to my surprise the orange wine blew my socks off. We drank, ate, laughed, and had a great time. Would definitely recommend and would go on this tour again. The only thing I wouldn't do again is follow this tour with an early tour next morning, lesson learned 😂.

Wow! This was fabulous! Such a highlight and so much better than i could have hoped for all because of my food limitations. ENRICO made it a TOP experience! He catered to our tastes. We we t to places we probably would never have discovered on our own. I highly recommend the Portuguese Wine and Food Experiences through Enrico and Sip Wine Tours. My family of eight adults thoroughly enjoyed his 3-hour Walking Food and Wine tour. We visited three small, family-run restaurants during the tour. Each venue had amazing food prepared and ready to serve as we arrived, along with several fantastic wine pairings at each place. (During the tour booking process, Enrico even ensured that each venue prepared one gluten-free and one vegetarian dish to accommodate two of our family members). Enrico took great care in explaining each dish and thoroughly described the various wine pairings. Throughout the night, we had entertaining conversations with Enrico on wine, food, culture, and history. Enrico is passionate about food, wine, and Lisbon, and loves to impart that passion to his guests. He has a breadth of knowledge that he gladly shared throughout the evening, along with his engaging personal stories. By the end of the evening, not only did we have a very memorable experience, but I felt like we gained a new friend in Enrico. This tour was one of the top highlights of our week in Portugal.

The highlight of our visit to Lisbon was experiencing this food and wine tour with our educated guide Enrico. We were paired with one other couple from the US who became quick friends with our shared passion for food and wine. We met at the oldest restaurant in Lisbon right off the main city square. Enrico sent advanced text making it easy to connect in our meeting spot. He brought two bottles of white wine for us to taste along with some appetizers at the restaurant at our private outdoor table. From there, we walked into a charming local neighborhood we would have never found on our own. Enrico clearly knew the owners, and from there, he opened 3 bottles of stellar red wines and they began bringing plates of Portuguese cuisine for us to sample. It was more food and wine than the four of us could finish. We shared laughs and life stories about travel/food/wine from our travels around the world. The evening ended with our 87-year-old maker (in pictures) who had us sample her homemade Ginjinha (a Portuguese liqueur made by infusing ginja berries in alcohol). She served them in eatable chocolate shot cups. What an experience, and unexpectedly delicious. Thank you, Enrico, for making the connection with Kelen and Marcelo who live in NJ. We had so much fun our evening with you, we reconnected in Porto for another two dinners together. Your recommendation of Manels was the highlight of our culinary dinners in Porto. My husband doesn’t drink alcohol, so Enrico made sure there were non alcoholic options for him, and he even adjusted the price accordingly. We had a great time with Enrico. We didn’t have time in our schedule to visit any of the Portuguese wineries but we wanted to still taste a variety of wines so we did this tour with Enrico. He picked out great wines for us to taste and had great food pairings as well. He worked with the restaurants and avoided most seafood for us. Definitely a great experience in Lisbon.

What fun! Enrico was the consummate host, adapting according to our questions and interests as we went along. His knowledge of the regional wines, their histories, and how they pair with foods is well-researched and thorough.
