Lisboa: Tour Fátima, Nazaré, Óbidos & Batalha – Full Day

Diogo was on time/early for pick up in Lisbon and was an excellent tour guide. We spent the day in Fatima and Santarem and also enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Diogo. He was very knowledgeable, his personality was excellent and he also had a good sense of humor. It was a delight to spend the day with him. All four of us would highly recommend him as a tour guide. I will post an extra review on the Viking Portugal Facebook page and hope that others ask for him by name.

The itinerary stops were good, but did not include Santarem as included in the Viator tour description, so that was disappointing. We thought it was a tour in English, but it also included two other languages, Spanish and Italian. It was exhausting to listen to the narration three times at a loud volume. Boarding the bus was disorganized and chaotic, with one person calling out names for multiple large buses while everyone stood in a crowd of what seemed like hundreds of people. Lovely sights, and Pepe worked hard at providing relevant information, but it was all a bit too overwhelming.

Pepe did an incredible job. He flowed in and out of four different languages with no problems and was friendly, helpful, and informative. Fatima was a stop that could be eliminated from the trip. It is of no interest to non religious people. Allotting more time at Obidos would be better than including Fatima in the tour.

This was a fantastic way to see so many amazing places in one day. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and organized.

Long but great tour visiting all these historical Portuguese places. The trip was made well worth it because of the excellent driver and guides, especially Diogo who entertained us the whole trip with his humorous historical facts in both English and Spanish. Highly recommended for any Canadian tourists as we had a blast with all the workers. Thanks so much.

I paid for a day tour to Fatima for July 5,2026, on July 5 at 8:00AM from Hugo Macedo telling me about my pickup at my hotel but he did not give me a time . He said someone would get in touch me by What's App or e-mail although I downloaded What's app I really do not know how to use it but since he also said email I thought it was fine well I never received an e-mail and what I used What's App to get in touch someone gave me a different address to go to . The clerk at the hotel called for me and someone told him the van came at 7:30 AM and they tried to call me which they did not . I am very disappointed at my loss of money and also their lack of communication Also when they did respond they told me to go to another address if I was sure I could not find the originial meeting point how did they expect me to get to a hotel in 15 minutes, this tour was from Vision Tours

Amazing tour, Pedro & Diogo were super nice and attentive during the entire time. They made sure to attend our needs, explain the tour in detail, as well as make it engaging so no one gets bored. We requested to be dropped off at an earlier point as well, and they were more than glad to comply with us. Great tour recomend!!

Our tour guide, Hugo, was great! He is an excellent communicator! I needed to coordinate with this trip and Hugo was quite helpful in making it run smooth. On the bus, Hugo explained about the 3 children and apparituon of Mary. I recommend this tour.

George was very welcoming and drove us safely to and from Nazare and shared a friendly chat along the way. Best tour we've EVER been on. Truly spiritual and made more so by our amazing tour guide, Emilio! He truly cared about the people on the tour and made sure we had the opportunity to experience the wonders of the Eucharist at Santarem as well as the spirituality of Fatima. Could not have asked for anything more!

Hugo messaged with pickup information right away and was right on time. Quite a feat with rush hour traffic. It got better from there. This was a specialized tour. Two Catholic shrines, treated with great respect, dignity, history and faith. Hugo treated our small group with grace, allowing everyone the space to experience the sites at their own level. Deep faith or struggling, Hugo is the guide for you. He kept an eye on our group, while continually evaluating the situation around us. When a very large group overwhelmed a location, he guided us around to the next spot, distributed a little reading. Material, gave space to absorb the moment and skillfully brought back to the earlier location, now minus the crowd. If you want to visit these sites with dignity and faith or only as an honest inquirer, this is the tour, Hugo is your guide.

This is a wonderful tour. There were only 3 of us on that day and Diogo, the driver and tourguide, was so flexible. We spent 2 solid hours at Fatima Shrine which allowed me to attend Mass, light candles, and visit the Basilicas. This is also the only tour I found with Santarem to see the Eucharistic Miracle.

Pedro was a wonderful guide to Santarem and Fatima. He knew the couple that helped with the church at Santarem and was excellent at getting us to all the many sites in Fatima. He was also very friendly.

We took this tour on March 21st, 2025 in a bad weather, it was rainy and windy, but we were so blessed to have Pedro as our guide as he's such a great guy, very caring and attentive to our questions and needs, he speaks English very well and is very patient to my 76 yo Mom who walked very slow :) He made sure we could still enjoy our family pilgrimage even when the weather was unfriendly, he really did above and beyond. Thank you so much again, Pedro!

It was amazing! The guide Marcie explained very well and spoke several languages, it was a wonderful day. We were a group of friends and we all loved each other. I already knew Fatima and Óbidos, but this tour with the explanations gave a special touch.

Marcie our guide, a woman who speaks Italian very well, was truly competent and friendly. She gave us brief descriptions of the places we were going to visit, without being tedious. The stops were nice, the bus was comfortable. I recommend it.

Beautiful excursion and guide Marcie is very skilled

I liked it, only the guide did not speak perfect Spanish; it was not clearly understood, but overall it was fine, though speaking so many languages is tiring for everyone. Two guides. But overall everything was fine. The first store before reaching the sanctuary of Fatima was very expensive. I would not buy there again; there were nicer things when we returned to the stores before taking the bus. So it is better to wait.

Well, it is a very pleasant and beautiful walk since we visited the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, which was a great experience for us as Catholics.
