Lagos And Sagres Private Algarve Experience From Lisbon

Absolutely amazing! Stunning scenery, wonderful driver/guide. Rui was incredible. A kind and considerate guide. Very informative. We feel so fortunate to have him for this beautiful experience!

Euclides was so very accommodating- when the water was too rough for boat he had an alternative plan. He was very pleasant to travel with. And a great driver.

We took this tour to Lagos and Sagres to visit the algarve caves which was absolutely beautiful and had lunch at an amazing restaurant in the city centre! Our guide Hugo was great & was very quick on his feet to meet our requests, always doing his best to make sure we were safe & happy. He’s very kind, knowledgable, a great conversationalist & a wonderful tour guide & person.

We really enjoyed this private tour with Hugo, he was a great guide, highly informative, and it felt like we were with an old friend who was taking us for a personal trip. We arrived in the Algarve region a little early so he took us to small town on the way to Lagos to visit a castle and a short break at a cafe for espresso before heading to Lagos and the 2.5 hour Dolphin & Coastal caves excursion. This was a an outstanding excursion that we really enjoyed, seeing and entering multiple of the cliff caves, and touring the beautiful coastline with picturesque beaches and small towns. Overall an outstanding experience, thanks Hugo.

Wanted to see southern Portugal & we did. Saw farms, beaches, harbors & the towns. The boat trip allowed us to see wildlife & caves eroded in the rocky coastline. fun.

My driver Daniel was knowledgeable and it was delightful to spend a day with him exploring Algarve. His boat trip recommendation is a must do!

Our first time in Portugal, and seeing the Algarve region/caves/beaches was a highlight on our trip. Our guide was excellent, kind, helpful and went out of his way to please us. We would recommend this to any interested in seeing this area of Portugal. It was breathtaking.

Daniel was an excellent guide. He showed us Lagos and Sagres which were amazing and took time to show us key features of the area. He was knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction that we appreciated greatly. I would recomment this tour to see Southern Portugal and how amazing the olive and oranges and beaches are in this area.

Great experience, Rui was a wonderful guide. But fyi because of the drive there and back 2.5hrs, there is only really time to see a couple of cities/sites.

I did 6 different Viator Tours during my visit, and this was by far my most favorite! My guide was Rui Arroja, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable and very well educated on the history of practically everything from Lisbon all the way to the Algarve. There wasn’t a question asked that he didn’t answer, so I was very impressed. Hearing the history and background made the trip more meaningful. He was very engaging and made excellent recommendations for lunch and even for dinner upon my return to Lisbon. He was prompt upon his arrival, very attentive and catered the trip to meet my personal needs. I’d definitely recommend doing this tour - and if you can get Rui as your guide, it’s an added bonus!

A long drive for a day trip but our driver Daniel was amazing and was a wonderful guide. He made sure we saw everything we needed to see.

Comfortable drive through beautiful country, visit to a fifteenth century coastal fort, delicious lunch, delightful zodiac boat ride along the coast and cave exploring.

Trip to the south to see the wonderful areas of faro. Very relaxing and wonderful views. Driver was very helpful and accommodating

Traveling from Lisbon to the Algarve and back makes for a long day, and we were a little on the fence about doing it, but we decided to go for it and we are so glad we did! We had an awesome day with Rui. He was a great guide, very friendly with lots of good information and he took us to so many beautiful places. This day was the highlight of a really great trip for me. We took a boat tour of the cliffs while we were there and saw so many amazing landscapes. We asked Rui to recommend a Portuguese seafood restaurant and drop us there and he took us to a great place that we loved. 100% worth the time and money.
