Guided Tour To Sintra, Pena, Regaleira, Cabo Da Roca And Cascais

Sintra was incredible. This tour was absolutely wonderful and ended up being one of my favorite days of our entire trip to Portugal! We had Hugo as our guide, and he was fantastic. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating, making the entire day such an enjoyable experience. We got to see so many beautiful places, learn so much about the history and culture of the area, and take in some truly unforgettable sights. Regaleira was especially incredible and ended up being our favorite stop of the day! It was a long day, but worth every minute. We loved getting to experience so many different places, each with something special to offer. This is still one of the experiences we find ourselves bringing up most often when sharing stories about our trip with friends. If you're visiting Portugal, I can't recommend this tour enough. And if you get Hugo as your guide, you're in for an especially wonderful day! Also, the lunch was fabulous!

Enjoyed the day even with the uphill walk to the castle. Morning pastries were delicious and it was nice to see the coast and sea side town. Good information and commentary from the guide Patrick.

It involves a lot of walking up and down hills over some very rough patches. The views from the top make the walking.

I went on a one-day tour of Sintra, Caisis, Cabo de Roca. Euscudeiro, our guide, was exceptional. He shared a lot of historical, cultural, ecological knowledge about the sites we’ve visited as well as Portugal in general. He is kind, respectful man. He handled morning trip delay with ease and reassurance that it will proceed as planned. He gave us time to explore places on our own once he provided a general overview. This made a very busy day more relaxing one . He is a very safe and confident driver. The van was full yet comfortable. I would highly recommend Escudeiro as your guide

Hugo was an amazing tour guide. It was a full day but we saw so much. All the places we visited were interesting and beautiful. Lunch was delicious and convenient (pre-fix menu - pay separately, not included). I only wish the tickets to Quinta da Regaleira were included in the price instead of having to pay in cash (only) that day.

Luis Silva led us through a packed day of sightseeing, learning history, and eating good food filled. We had fun and laughed a lot. A friend had signed up separately and we didn't realize until that morning he was assigned to a different group. Luis immediately began working with the other tour guide and got us together. This tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Patrick, was an exceptional guide through Sintra and other amazing spots that were included in the tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history of these places and made the whole day super memorable and unforgettable! Quinta da Regaleira was the personal highlight for our group of four with its historic castles and underground caves. But honestly, all of our stops included amazing scenery and beautiful architecture. I could not recommend this tour enough as a part of your Portugal experience! It is a must! Super knowledgeable about the history.

It was a wonderful experience, and many thanks to our guide, Patrick! We wish we could have spent more time in Cascais. We would also have preferred to have lunch in Sintra town center, as it would have allowed us to eat more quickly and spend more time exploring Sintra.

Iago was excellent and I highly recommend any tour he runs. Everywhere we went was stunning and Iago was extremely knowledgeable about everywhere. The only issue (small) is that the day was a bit long with the amount of walking required to see everything.

Our tour to Sintra was the best. Our tour guide Patrick was very knowledgeable and friendly. The van was comfortable and roomy for the 8 guests on the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

This small group day trip to Sintra and Cascais was the BEST day trip I have ever been on compared to all my other European travels! The manager was extremely communicative and gave us detailed instruction about the logistics. Tiago, the well spoken, knowledgeable, and thoughtful guide was terrific and attentive not to mention an EXCELLENT driver. He expertly driven a very comfortable Mercedes minivan and led our small group of 8 travelers with fun and knowledgeable narration all throughout the tour. My husband and I highly recommend this tour operator, and especially Mr. Tiago!

We had an excellent time going to Sintra and seeing the highlights of the site. We were not able to go inside the Pena Palace but with the time constraints and ongoing repairs in the Palace, we still covered quite a lot of ground. Miguel Lains, our tour guide, was very professional, and very knowledgeable of the site. He was very patient and quite accomodating. He actually was instrumental in forming an instant bond amongst our small group of 8. Thank you, Miguel, for the wonderful trip, scrumptious lunch, and good company. This is a full day tour worth every penny! The hotel pick up was worth while for us as it was so convenient to just walk out of our hotel. Patrik was an amazing and obviously passionate guide who took great care of our group. The local family-owned restaurant where we had lunch was just delightful & delicious! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a day trip from Lisbon.

Miguel was a terrific guide! He took us to amazing locations and gave all the information we needed, took great group photos and was also early with pick up times. It is obvious that he loves his job and is a people person. I highly recommend this tour and Miguel as your guide.

Iago was a wonderful tour guide, knowledgeable about the entire experience and also chatty about everything Portugal. Great value for money and the drive between each destination wasn’t too long.

Patrik was an excellent tour guide. As an historian specializing in Portuguese history, he had much information to provide to us, including some surprising facts about the prosperity and achievements of many Portuguese explorers and inventors who have not been recognized enough for their accomplishments. This was a full 10 hour day that felt like a relaxing pace. The maximum he takes are 8 people and we only ended up with only 6. (One couple sadly had to leave mid-way due to health -- this tour involves lots of stairs and inclines.) He provided some free time for photos and exploring, as well as introducing each site with rich information. The lunch at a traditional Portuguese restaurant was delicious, with many options and at a good price. He picked us all up very close to our lodgings, and dropped us off there as well. Patrik's knowledge of the area and of Portugal in general really made this trip extra special. We highly recommend it! (S and A from Canada)

Fun filled day of site seeing! Our guide Davide was great and a true pleasure to have with us to tell us about the history of the places. He was funny and made even the painful incline walks tolerable. This tour is worth the money and I highly recommend! However you may want to bring extra layers as it was very cold and windy up there.

This was a fabulous tour! Tiago was a highly skilled driver, incredibly knowledgeable and cared for all members of the group. His passion for his region and Portugal was evident. He very easily adapted our itinerary with no fuss when obstacles out of his control meant we couldn’t do all the activities in the later part of the day. He well over-compensated by taking us to multiple other places of interest instead. He was incredibly giving of his time. The size of the group was perfect! It didn’t take the 8 of us on the tour long to get to know each other and share many stories and laughs. Pay the little bit extra and do this tour rather than one of the bigger group tours. One of the best days of our holiday! Thank you!

Fascinating history . Amazing architecture. Our guide, Gao was funny, informative, helpful and just terrific . We were lucky to have six other travelers with us that were friendly as well. Don't skip the lunch .

He gave us extra time to take more pictures and was very patient, answering our questions knowledgeably.
