From Lisbon: Nazaré Private Day Trip – Big Wave Surf

Our tour guide Gabriel was excellent! We really enjoyed the tour and Gabriel’s knowledge of Nazare and Obidos. We were concerned however the morning of our tour as no tour guide showed up even 10 minutes after the tour start time. We placed a call to Eduardo to let him know and there seem to be a bit of a scramble finding out why we did not have a guide. Thankfully we were added to Gabriel’s tour which initially was supposed to be a private tour. Little nervous now for our future tours.

Our guide was great. The weather wasn’t cooperating but we were able to see some waves when the fog lifted. The museum was closed which was a bummer but good trip anyway !!

Rodrigo was a very good guide. He was very patient and has very good knowledge of the place for good views of Nazare. He explains very well too.

We were 2 couples for this trip and Rodrigo our guide ! We really enjoy the journey to and back with a very nice and safe driver. Rodrigo makes our trip to Nazaré exceptional with very good explanations and recommendations. he was very helpful with my back problems he takes me back from Nazaré surf museum to the town center with thé car We had a lot of fun with all the group. We spend a very nice Time together in the restaurant he chooses for lunch We really recommend this tour

Leo was an excellent tour guide. So knowledgeable and interesting. Nazaré was breathtaking and Óbidos such a charming town. The day was a highlight of our trip.

Very Disappointed. They cancelled the tour for lack of participation. Why plan ahead and reserve event if you are going to cancel?

We did this tour last week and got lucky, we checked Instagram and saw that the swell was going to be massive. It was epic! We went straight to Nazaré and spent most of our time on the cliff with Esmil, watching surfers take on waves that must have been around 20 meters high. It was an incredible day! Traditional pastries with coffee in the morning, lunch at the food trucks with some Portuguese beer… everything was perfect. A true surf trip!

What a special day to go to Nazare. Our guide Leo was knowledgeable about the local area and knew the best spots to view the giant waves of Nazare. If you love surfing and want a knowledgeable guy, Leo is the best. A most memorable day for the family.

We enjoyed an amazing day in Nazare. Our guide picked us up at our door and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our trip from start to finish. The views of the waves and ocean are breathtaking in Nazare. You will also want to spend some time browsing the shops. I recommend this tour.

This was the perfect end to our trip to Portugal. The small surf site and town were amazing, but the best part of the trip was our tour guide and driver, Paula. Her local knowledge and charm made this an amazing tour. If you are going to Nazaré or other tours in this area you need to request Paula she definitely goes above and beyond. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to have a unique experience outside of Lisbon.

We had a truly beautiful day in Nazare! Our guide Miguel met us at our door and was so flexible from start to finish to make sure we had just the experience we wanted. We really enjoyed browsing through Nazare’s unique shops and of course the real highlight was the giant waves and stunning views. Miguel is also a great photographer and helped us capture some amazing images to remember the day. We are so happy we booked this tour and so thankful to Miguel for going above and beyond to make our day so special!

His passion for the town and its history made every stop come alive, from the dramatic waves at Praia do Norte to the charming streets of the old town. What a fantastic host for a great day in beautiful Nazare. Our host Esmil was amazing ensuring we all had what we needed and a great day. The story telling in the square was great to give some of this history which then ties to the surfing statue. As a surfer himself he also provided a great guided tour. Don’t worry if it is a quieter wave day it is still stunning and fun with some extra surprises. Esmil’s attention to the group was lovely. He knew I really wanted a patch for my backpack to commemorate the day and went to each shop with me talking in Portugese to the owners till we found one! Thank you for making this bucket list trip memorable.

Beautiful tour with the guide Paula who was extremely helpful and very nice. It was a very pleasant and suggestive day.

I went to Nazareth and had a wonderful experience with guide Esmil. I have trouble driving and he helped me on the trails. It was a wonderful day, led to a fantastic restaurant and always took several photos to share. Super recommend this tour to everyone.
