Itinerary
Cais do Sodré is a riverside district famous for its nightlife and restaurants. The 19th-century Ribeira Market has a food court that is the hub of activity, with eclectic food stalls offering international dishes and local specialties. Pink Street is home to bars and restaurants where you can listen to fado. Ribeira das Naus promenade, on the banks of the Tagus River, is popular when the weather warms up.
Chiado is a historic and fashionable neighborhood in the center of Lisbon, Portugal, known for its vibrant cultural scene, elegant architecture, and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Situated between the neighborhoods of Baixa and Bairro Alto, Chiado has long been a hub for artists, intellectuals, and creatives. The area is famous for its beautiful squares, traditional cafés, art galleries, theaters, and luxury shops. Landmark sites include the historic Café A Brasileira, the famous Livraria Bertrand (the world's oldest operating bookstore), and the São Carlos Theater. Chiado blends Lisbon's rich cultural heritage with modern sophistication, offering a dynamic mix of old and new, where historic buildings coexist with contemporary design. It's also a popular spot for both locals and tourists, providing a lively yet refined setting for dining, shopping, and entertainment.
Bairro Alto is a historic and lively neighborhood in the heart of Lisbon, Portugal, renowned for its vibrant nightlife, bohemian atmosphere, and rich cultural heritage. Perched on one of Lisbon’s seven hills, Bairro Alto is a maze of narrow, cobblestone streets filled with an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary establishments, including bars, restaurants, and boutique shops. It is particularly famous for its thriving nightlife scene, attracting both locals and tourists with its abundance of Fado music venues, trendy bars, and late-night cafes. Despite its lively reputation, Bairro Alto has a long history that dates back to the 16th century, and its charming buildings, with colorful facades and wrought-iron balconies, reflect the neighborhood’s character. By day, Bairro Alto offers a more relaxed atmosphere, with antique shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes, but as evening falls, the area transforms into one of Lisbon’s most animated spots.
Baixa is the downtown district of Lisbon, Portugal, and serves as the commercial and architectural heart of the city. Known for its grand, neoclassical buildings, wide boulevards, and elegant squares, Baixa was extensively rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, which destroyed much of the older part of the city. This reconstruction, led by the Marquis of Pombal, transformed Baixa into a well-planned grid of streets that remain one of Lisbon’s most important urban landmarks. Baixa is home to some of Lisbon’s most famous squares, such as Praça do Comércio, a majestic riverside square, and Rossio Square, a lively hub surrounded by cafés and shops. The district is also known for its beautiful Arco da Rua Augusta, a monumental arch leading to the river, and the Santa Justa Lift, an iconic wrought-iron elevator offering views of the city. Today, Baixa is a bustling, modern center with a mix of retail shops, restaurants, and offices, while still retaining a sense of its historical grandeur.
The Basilica of Saint Mary Major of Lisbon, or Sé de Lisboa, is the metropolitan cathedral and patriarchal seat of the city of Lisbon, Portugal. Its construction began in 1148, one year after Afonso Enriques conquered the city. It is considered the oldest church in Lisbon.
Largo das Portas do Sol is a historic square located in the Alfama district of Lisbon. This location is known for offering one of the most iconic views of the city, with panoramic views that encompass the Tagus River, the Baixa Pombalina and the Castelo de São Jorge. The name "Portas do Sol" dates back to the old city walls, which had a gate facing east (the rising sun), allowing sunlight to enter in the morning. Over the centuries, the square has become a popular meeting point for locals and tourists alike, and is an ideal place to watch the sunset, listen to live music or simply relax in one of the area's cafés or viewpoints. In addition to its historical and cultural importance, Largo das Portas do Sol is also an excellent starting point for exploring the narrow, winding streets of Alfama, one of Lisbon's most traditional and authentic neighborhoods.
Located in the Graça neighborhood of Lisbon, Portugal, the Miradouro Nossa Senhora do Monte is one of the city's most iconic viewpoints. It offers stunning panoramic views of Lisbon and the Tagus River, combining a profound history with scenic beauty. This place is a testament to Lisbon's rich history and cultural heritage, making it a must-see for anyone exploring the city's historical sites. The viewpoint is not only famous for its breathtaking views but also for its historical significance, dating back to the 12th century when Lisbon was reconquered from the Moors. The site houses the Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Monte, a significant religious structure that has been a pilgrimage site for locals seeking blessings and protection since the 13th century. Over the centuries, the chapel and the surrounding area have undergone several renovations, especially after the devastating Lisbon earthquake of 1755.
Graça is a traditional and vibrant neighborhood in Lisbon, Portugal, known for its rich history, narrow cobbled streets, and breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Located on one of Lisbon’s seven hills, it offers a mix of old-world charm and modern-day appeal, with a strong sense of local community. The area is famous for its historical landmarks, such as the Graça Church and the National Pantheon, as well as its lively atmosphere, with numerous cafes, restaurants, and viewpoints (miradouros) that attract both locals and visitors. Graça is often considered a more authentic and less touristy part of Lisbon, offering a glimpse into the city’s traditional life while being well-connected to other parts of the city. The neighborhood is a blend of old and new, with residential areas, local markets, and street art contributing to its distinct character.
The Monastery of São Vicente de Fora is located on high ground at the intersection of Lisbon's historic neighborhoods of Graça and Alfama. It is called "de fora" because, in addition to being outside the city walls, the parish on which it stood was not at that time under the jurisdiction of the Lisbon bishop.
The National Pantheon of Portugal (Panteão Nacional, in Portuguese) is located in the parish of São Vicente de Fora, Lisbon, specifically in the Church of Santa Engrácia. The current building stands on the site where a church had already been erected in 1568, by order of Infanta Maria, daughter of King Manuel I, on the occasion of the creation of the parish of Santa Engrácia. The church began to serve as a Pantheon in 1916.
The Chafariz de El-Rei was the first public ornamental fountain in the city of Lisbon. It was built in the 13th century during the reigns of Afonso III and Denis I, taking advantage of the excellent groundwater of Alfama. The channeling of water from the springs to the exterior gutters of the so-called Cerca Moura dates back to 1487, which allowed for the supply of ships during the Age of Discovery. The current façade dates from 1864, with the upper part being finished and the pinnacles and urns being installed, creating a classical architectural composition. The Chafariz de El-Rei once had nine functioning gutters, each one reserved for a specific social group.
Praça do Comércio, still commonly referred to by its former name of Terreiro do Paço, is a square in downtown Lisbon located next to the Tagus River, in the area that was the site of the palace of the kings of Portugal for about two centuries and which is now partly occupied by some government departments. It is one of the largest squares in Europe, with about 36,000 m² (180 m x 200 m).[1] The square is bordered by 79 arches. It is considered a historical symbol of political power and a manifestation of capitalism in Portugal. This symbolism is generally associated with the centralism of the State.

Group of six in 2 tuk tuk’s. Jaoa (John maybe) Other tuk tuk not have name. Tour was Oct 22/26 at 1500 from Dos Reis Beautique Hotel. Excellent tour and so much info! They were so nice and respectful. So wish we could have had this tour on arriving in Lisbon instead of the day before going home.
Our guide Viktor Andre was a historian who made our trip interesting and gave us his all! Amazing man had a great sense of humour when one of us referred to Sintra as SINATRA! Great job Viktor I have highly recommended you to friends visiting in November. The food and wine tasting was also exceptional. Thank you Viktor
We had a great time with our guide Tiago. He shared so much information in a humorous and fun way. The time just flew by. Loved it!
Loved it, amazing. Arthur was amazing good talk a lot and knowledgeable
Wonderful your, very knowledgeable and well paced. Would highly recommend!
Great experience and knowledge. They were great at communicating and clear directions on where to meet.
Great trip around the city with abundant insights about the surroundings. Great way to see the very hilly beautiful city. Good food and wine at the conclusion.
Tiago our guide was excellent - passionate, animated and engaging. He highlighted many beautiful and interesting spots in downtown Lisbon and side streets with a good balance of historical context. Well worth the tour, but we wish it was at the beginning of our time in Lisbon and not towards the end as this would have influenced our independent exploring of the city to places Tiago made us aware of. Maybe next time!
Great ride, great experience. Tiago was a star.
Our guide was knowledgable, friendly, and entertaining! He catered to our preferences and gave us the tour we wanted. Overall, great experience!
Arthur was amazing, 10 out of 10.
Yes it was a good tour Arthur was very knowledgeable about the history
Tiago was an Excellent driver Very polite Extremely knowledgeable Kind and funny Kept things enjoyable and upbeat He made a special point to get to know us so he could refer us to the sites that would be of the most interest to our tastes Just exactly the type of driver you would want while on vacation
This is not a food tour but a tour with some meat and cheese at the end. The guides Andre and Dimitri were very good and knowledgeable.
My husband Denny and I didn't know what to expect from our Tuc Tuc tour, but what an experience. We had the best tour guide EVER! If you want an out going, knowledgeable, entertaining guide you have to ask for Arthur.
Tiago was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the city. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Would recommend this tour to others especially with him
This was a wonderful experience and one of the best ways to see Lisbon! Our guide/driver, Arthur, was very knowledgeable and truly made our trip even better. We learned so much and had many laughs along the way! He picked us up directly from our hotel and even gave us the choice of where we wanted to be dropped off afterwards, which was super helpful. The tour was 3 hours long, and we enjoyed every second of it. We highly recommend Arthur and this tour!
Carlos was excellent. He was very knowledgable. He had a nice mix of current events, history and architectural styles. He spoke English very well.
On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, we had an amazing eco-friendly Tuk Tuk Sightseeing Tour with Lucas, and it was one of the highlights of our visit to Lisbon. From the moment we met him, Lucas was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a local, he shared fascinating stories about Lisbon’s rich history while showing us many of the city’s iconic sights and vibrant neighborhoods, including Bairro Alto, Chiado, and Rossio. Traveling in an eco-friendly electric tuk tuk was a fun and sustainable way to explore Lisbon. Lucas took us to breathtaking viewpoints with spectacular 180-degree panoramic views of the city and captured the experience with thoughtful and creative photos that we will treasure for years to come. Following the sightseeing tour, we continued with a gastronomy experience at Vinhos, where we enjoyed unique and delicious Portuguese wines along with wonderful local flavors. Lucas’s passion for Lisbon, engaging personality, and attention to detail made the tour a truly memorable experience. We highly recommend Lucas to anyone looking for an authentic, informative, and enjoyable way to discover this beautiful city.
Arthur was out your guide and he was absolutely amazing! Showed us everywhere to go in Lisbon along with great views and hidden spaces along the way, highly recommend!
Wow our experience on our Tuk Tuk tour exceeded every exoectation we had!! Our group of 8 had two amazing drivers who really made us laugh while showing us all around Lisbon, telling us history and lots of information about their city! We ranged in age from 18-78 and everyone was so amazed! They didn’t expect to love it like they did. Now we are planning on taking another tuk tuk tour in Porto! Our drivers were Lucas and JoJo and they were fanrastic!!! For rhe last hour (out of the 3) we stopped at a restaurant where we were treated so so well toooo! Food was delicious!! Do yourself a favor, take this tour….you will be happy you did!!!
Our guide was great! My only issue was the tour was advertised as a food and wine tour. The tour was really a historic tour around Lisbon which was amazing but we thought we would be stopping and trying food and learning about the culture. Unfortunately, our guide dropped us off at a restaurant the last 45 min we were there and served a glass of wine and cheese, fried fish ball, bread and olives with no explanation of what we were eating.
Thank you so much for the ride, both informative and beautiful!
This was our first ever TukTuk tour. Our guide was Tiago. He was fantastic. We were picked up at our hotel and from the moment we started the tour, it was amazing…he was amazing. Wish we had more time with him. He adjusted the tour based on some sights and viewpoints we had already seen and experienced. He always ensured that we were safe and that we knew where to find him and his vehicle after walking around an area. Doing this tour near the beginning of our visit to Lisbon was extremely helpful in understanding the city and its history.
The tour was amazing, Arthur was very detail oriented, and attention to detail. I would recommend Arthur to others as he is humorous, amiable, respectful and joyful. He made our trip very interesting and exciting. Big up Arthur.❤️
We had an amazing Tuk-Tuk tour of Lisbon and it was one of the best highlights of our trip. Our guide, Tiago, was so friendly and passionate about his city. He took us to so many beautiful places and shared stories about Lisbon history and culture. We felt so comfortable, relaxed and safe throughout the entire tour. He was happy to answer all of our questions and made sure everyone was enjoying the tour. If you’re visiting Lisbon and want to see the city in a fun way, ask for Tiago!
We had a wonderful experience with an amazing guide! Tiago is born and raised in Portugal and loves his country, you cannot come across a more experienced and enthusiastic guide to take you around Lisbon and get a good feel of this historic city in a relatively short amount of time! We are definitely coming back and are looking forward to enjoy more time here!
Arthur is a great guide with tremendous knowledge about Lisbon and Portugal. We really enjoyed our experience.
Tiago was very knowledgeable, entertaining, enthusiastic and professional. Excellent driver. Covered lots of history in a three hour period. Highly recommend this excursion.
Exactly what we wanted. We were in Lisbon for only 1 day and Viktor showed us all around city with great enthusiasm and history about Portugal. Pick up and drop off by a market with local artisans and easy for Uber location.
Yuri our Tuck tuck driver was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond for our group. Highly recommended Yuri.
The best day with Arthur and EcoTukTuk. He was so enthusiastic and made the tour more enjoyable. We felt we knew the city after his insights. We also loved the food and wine tasting at Lagrima. Make sure to try the "extra" PREJO sandwich (not included). It is a local speciality. A nossa!
Tiago was engaging and informative with an extensive knowledge of Lisbon. The tour was very enjoyable and educational with some comic relief :) Would highly recommend him for any tour!!
Arthur was a fantastic guide! Knowledgeable, personable, wonderful. Highly recommend
Our tour guide Arthur was brilliant!
Arthur turned Lisbon’s beautifully chaotic streets into something straight out of a storybook. His mix of deep historical knowledge, quick wit, and genuinely charming personality made the whole experience feel special from start to finish. If you get the chance, definitely ask for him—you’ll be in for an unforgettable time. Still smiling about it… thanks, Art!
Went on a gastronomy tuk tuk tour. Our tour operator was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Had unlimited patience with my friend and I
Our driver, Diego, spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the geography and the history behind Lisbon. He was also very curteous and easy to converse with. We made a few stops.to take photos of breathtaking views hight atop the city, and a few religious sites. The tour included a great little spot that provided 3 wine tastings and some snacks that were the perfect ending prior to be returned to our pick up point.
Our guide was informative friendly and interesting. Gave us Avery good feel of the city. Restaurant disappointing. No communication from server. Only offered one wine and no idea what food we were eating.
Dmytrov was an excellent tour guide! We thoroughly enjoyed his enthusiasm while sharing so much about Lisbon and Portugal! I highly recommend him! We were disappointed that the restaurant who served our wine and food tastings did not talk to us or explain the foods or wines we were eating and drinking.
first of all, this is not a food and wine tour. It’s two hours being bounced up and down in a small wheeled tuk tuk past non descript stone walls, followed by an average lunch. Oliver is a great guide and good driver. He has a good grip on Portuguese history for tourists, and speaks good English. Above all stay out of the tuk tuk, especially if you end up on the rear seats. we could have gotten much faster to the VISTA’s over the city on theDuo castle elevator. For lunch, we stopped at one restaurant. Since we thought we would hear about the food we asked about it and were brought an appetizer of bread and ham. The main course was scrambled eggs. we had a choice of one glass of three wines. When I asked about them they brought the bottles with labels. this lunch would have been available in many restaurants in the area for under €20 each. I feel $300 for this tour was robbery.
Miguel, our driver was excellent. We really enjoyed our tour of Lisbon and Miguel’s history lesson.
Very good explanation from José! We enjoy his personality and professionalism! He was available to answer any questions with kindness. The lunch was good even if the glass of wine was a little bit…short.
Our guide Silvia was exceptional. She shared lots of information and was a true joy. Very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend her.
Excellent! Highly recommend this tour. Our gude, Lucas was phenomenal! Informative and a pleasure to be with. He made sure that we had phenomenal photos!
We really enjoyed our tuk tuk tour around Lisbon. Yuri was awesome!! He was super friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. The wine and food stop was also great with friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend this tour and Yuri to anyone visiting Lisbon!
Joao and Silvia were great, funny, and educational. So happy to experience with personable guides! Would recommend to anybody
Excellent tour. The tour guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable and the gastronomical tour was well worth it! Highly recommended!
We chose this tour because my 89 year old mother wanted to go and we didn't want her taxed with too much walking. Our guide Silvia was the best! Very nice and a very knowledgeable young lady. Silvia also proved herself to be very resourceful and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. The tour was well paced and we saw many highlights, learned some history and had some great food and wine. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
