This was the best tour to make use of a short stay in Portugal. Our guide, Flavio, was a very charming and engaging host— as well as a great driver! He had tons of insightful knowledge on the history of these areas. It was timed very well with just enough time to explore each location well without a lot of crowds and during great times for picture lighting. The small tour group size was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this tour!!
Sintra and Nazaré were both breathtaking and worth the visit. Our guide George was very kind and helpful. We would recommend this tour especially if you’re staying in Lisbon for a good amount of days.
Ricardo was very precise and detailed in explaining the places in Our Lady of Fatima , Nazare & Sintra.. He was Very nice, amiable and witty...
We really enjoyed this trip. Ricardo did very well guiding both in English and Spanish. He shared a lot of information about the history of the places we visited. He was also able to give tips for where to eat, take good photos. The three places gave a good sampling of what Portugal had to offer in a small amount of time. Change of scenery from Lisbon. The trip to Sintra was SO COLD- make sure to bring a jacket and umbrella!☔️
I loved the trip. We’ve seen so much during so little time, it was amazing. Special thanks to our guide Ricardo, he was what made this experience even better, really great guy, fun, multilingual, very theme oriented and he made sure that we weren’t bored with so many hours on the road. I really hope you get him as your guide for this trip because it’s really worth it!
Amazing trip to the 3 cities. Ricardo was very cheerful and explained everything. Good recomendations for lunch and souvenirs too.
The places were beautiful, but the tour itself was poor. The site states (multiple times) that the tour is a maximum of 12 people. There were 24 on this tour. The bus did not have air conditioning, and it seemed to not be functioning well overall (we were going slower than traffic, noticeably so). I would not recommend at all.
Took this day trip from Lisbon and every place we visited was amazing. Pena Palace in Sintra was the highlight of this tour. Our guide Pedro was fantastic. He gave a lot of interesting facts and history about each place we visited, and he really took care of everyone on the tour. Would definitely recommend this tour and having Pedro as your guide to the other gems in Portugal.
It was a great tour! Wonderful places we visited. My only complain is Pedro’s explanation in Spanish is so long, but when he talks in English, it’s just a short version. I wondered if he was skipping some facts in the language that I I understand.
Our tour started right on the dot despite the heavy rains this morning. our guide Joao spoke clearly in english and spanish as it was a bilingual tour. he was very knowledgeable and offered so many info regarding the tour!. i wish we had more time to explore Fatima though. Overall, it was a good tour. We loved Joao!
We had an amazing experience with this tour! It was the highlight of our trip. Very convenient pick up and allows you to see so many amazing sites all in one day. 10/10!
Pedro was very informative warm, and friendly on our tour. He provided great recommendations in each city and we were not let down by the food suggestions. The bus was clean and driver was safe. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting.
It was a very exciting visit, the tourguide was really helpfull and nice with the group. The places were awesome to visit.
Great Guide, really friendly group and great places to visit. Even though the weather wasn't optimal at the end, this trip is worth it. Five stars.
We would like a little more comments about history / or details about the sites visited / your suggestions for restaurant very good but Need more tiempo
Finally finishing the tour late as we did it was the worst tour j have ever done in more than 40 years of travelling !!!
Fransico was so informative and engaging! He explained everything exactly how the tour was going to be. He was very knowledgeable and astute about all the landmarks and described everything fully and historically. I would highly recommend this tour & also with Francisco! He was very pleasant and helpful!
Good tour, but there is insufficient time to do Sintra. Nazare does not have much to do and is not worth seeing. Sintra should be done as a day tour. I wish there was more time to see Sintra in this tour
Our guide, Ricardo, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, gave great insight on how to approach each city, and was an excellent guide through the grounds of Pena palace.
The tour of Sintra, Fatima and Nazaré was amazing. We got to see a lot of beautiful sights. We had an awesome tour guide Francisco Maia. He kept us entertained. He ‘s very knowledgeable about culture and history. He gave us time to explore on our own. He even brought us to the factory in Fatima where we bought souvenirs. Overall, we are very thankful for this trip but we couldn’t do it without the best tour guide Francisco!
Pedro was a tour guide and he was great! Full of knowledge and so sweet! Took his time explaining everything to us!
John M. was an excellent guide. He was informative, patient, kind and made a group of strangers feel relaxed:) The trip has just the right amount of time per location.
I was on the tour by myself along with a nice adult family of 5. Our guide Flavio was great! He told us so much history and little details of the 3 places that we visited. He was very nice and helpful. The van was very comfortable during our 9 hours tour of 3 places. This was the highlight of my trip to Lisbon!
Johnny was an awesome guide! Knowledgeable & fun! We also had a very good driver. A perfect amount of time at each stop. Wear good walking shoes.
Johnny was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable!! Definitely recommend! Driver was also very friendly and got us everywhere safely
Jsr was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable on all these sites in Portugal. I would recommend bringing water and walking shoes because you will be seeing lots of things in a short (fair) amount of time. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see multiple cities in one day and explore as much as they can.
Juan (JSR) was an excellent tour guide and very helpful in all aspects, throughly enjoyed the day. Would definitely recommend!
Joao was a great tour guide. He has a lot of knowledge about all the three places, about the portuguese history and so on. The free time for the places were tight but totally enough to enjoy the different destinations. I‘d recommend to book it with the entry to the Pena Palace included, as it has incredibly beautiful architectures. Also Joao will tell you more about it while visiting the the rooms.
We had an informative and interesting day exploring the three towns of Fátima, Nazare and Sintra! Jaoa was friendly and knowledgeable as a guide and it was a great way to explore other areas of Portugal outside of Lisbon when you only have a short time to visit!
Everything was perfect, although we didn't have a lot of luck with the weather, there was a fog but still, the experience was amazing. Thank you.
The tour was extraordinary. Our guide Miguel is very nice. I recommend this tour to those who want to spend a wonderful day in these three cities
The tour was amazing! All stops were interesting and beautiful in their own way. Our tour guide Jferro was very knowledgeable of the area and clear with instructions. He was also very accommodating to every language spoken by the tourists and made sure everyone got the proper information. He made the tour even better with his personality and presentation of the areas. Would definitely recommend going!!
My trip was amazing! George was a super fun guide and showed us the best spots. He was very accommodating with our group with several languages and other needs. I would highly recommend this tour!
My girlfriend and I toured with Joao to Fatima, Nazare, and Sintra. We were blown away by the beauty of Nazare, and the incredible Pena Palace in Sintra. Fatima was interesting, but I think would be more appealing to religious folks. But after our visits to Nazare and Sintra, we realized that we could have stayed in both places for a week. Joao was so knowledgeable about the history and cultural significance of each site. I was happy to hear that Nazare was more than just big waves, considering they weren’t as big as they are in Winter. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone staying in the Lisbon area, looking to explore a bit more of what Portugal has to offer. Be prepared for a decent bit of walking, as well as pretty long drives.
We stayed in Lisboa and from there visited Nazare and Sintra , each on a separate day - Awesome , awesome - traveled by flixbus . All that Lisboa is not . Lisboa itself , although interesting , the place fall apart . Not maintained , not clean , stink and the migrants make it an awful experience . What is happening at the centro station is just appalling . Will just focus on rural areas next time .
This was a great tour. The guide Rui was informative, personable and funny. The driver was skilled and helpful. The 3 cities were very different from each other and the contrast was interesting.
Great trip , Rui was an amazing tour guide. Would highly recommend. We seen 3 amazing locations , there was beautiful views.
Our guide Pedro was knowledgeable and used 3 languages to help us all! Fun time! I highly recommend … it’s a bit long at Fátima and remember to bring your own water. Super experience, learned alot.
Our tour guide Miguel was wonderful! He was very informative on the history of each city! The views were amazing.
The trip overall and structure of the itinerary was very planned out. I really enjoyed the views and was intrigued with the history and information given from my tour guide. Many thanks to the tour guide Ricardo Dias for amazing job and making the tour more fun
Our tour guide Ricardo was fabulous, full of useful information and tips. Easy to find the meeting spot. Fátima was outstanding. Enough time for us to see what we wanted, light candles and say a few prayers inside the church. Nazaré was another highlight. Coming from big surf culture in Australia it was our Mecca. Plenty of time to walk to the North beach and enter the forte followed by lunch and souvenir shopping. Peña palace was our last stop and best time to come as hardly any crowds. Overall a fantastic day, and expert driving by Jocelyn, who drove our bus like a champion! Thanks you again
Rui was a great pleasure to have as our guide! Very knowledgeable. Thank you for a great day! Highly recommend- nice comfortable ride.
Rui the guide was excellent. He met us at the pick up point right on time. He was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. The driver was excellent as well. We would prefer less time at Fátima and Nazare and more time at Sintra. Overall a great day out.
Rui was the best. Very informative! Valerie was a great driver and got us to all locations safely! Highly recommend to all!
The towns were interesting, some beautiful churches, we felt the towns were too flat apart from each other and we didn’t have enough time to enjoy them fullly , it was a 10 hour day
Very interesting history of the 3 areas we visited, Fátima, Nazere and Sintra. It will be long day of driving and about 1 average in each location. So it will give you a feel of each location but not in depth. That is because these locations are far from Lisbon. I would recommend two locations and more time to discover them.
The places were beautiful , but we felt we were on the bus too long , the tour director was good, informative ..the day was very, very long . Nazaré had beautiful views of the ocean and we had a great sandwich , Sintra was nice but didn’t have enough time there and there is not much to do
Great tour…very informative…João is very knowledgeable and was able to accommodate 3 different languages for our tour group…highly recommend if you want to catch some not to miss highlights of your travels through Portugal. Must do!
We had a wonderful experience and tour of Fatima and of Nazare. The tour guide Roi was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He made the trip very interesting, and quite enjoyable. To no fault of anyone- we had an unfortunate flat tire before getting to Sintra on the van - but Roi continued to entertain us and kept his professional composure while the incident was taken care of. The driver ‘Halder’ was also very professional and a good driver. The van was comfortable and clean. It was unfortunate to miss the Tour and Visit to Sintra - but we completely enjoyed the tours when had and the day. Many thanks, Barbara and Mike Altobelli
