Fatima Private Half Day Tour From Lisbon

It was very spiritual, and I must see when in Portugal. Lionel was our tour guide and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to show us Fatima. He was warm and welcoming!

Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. He made the day much better. We left at 7am so we could get there before the crowds arrived. I recommend doing the same because there were thousands of people when we left Fatima at 10:30. Traffic on the highways leading into Fatima was nonexistent when we arrived, but it was backed up for miles when we left.

It was a very personal and amazing way to explore the charm, culture, history and beautiful landscape of Portugal. My driver was amazing, professional, knowledgeable and kind. He went out of his way to make sure that my expectations were met. As a solo passenger I felt very safe.

Rui was a great guide and shared many facts about the area as we drove through and about Fatima specifically. He made sure we knew where to go and was vary accommodating to our group. I highly recommend Rui and this tour company.

The private tour affords time to attend a full Mass and Communion service. Regular site tours do not afford this experience. Our wonderful driver, Lino, took us right where we wanted to go.

We had a wonderful spiritual experience in Fatima. Andrew is an excellent driver , very knowledgeable and polite. He guided us and gave us time for ourselves in the sanctuary. I highly recommend his services.

The driver/ guide was full of information about Fatima. He also gave information about Lisbon and Portugal since this was a first time for most of our group.

What an incredible day at Fatima we had! Andre was the perfect host. His knowledge, his kindness, his professionalism, and friendliness was over the top! I had very high expectations for this trip and Andre exceeded my expectations. As a practicing catholic I have heard about Fatima for many years, but in 5 hours I learned more, witnessed more, and experienced more than I ever had. We are thankful we were with Andre verses going on our own as he explained and showed us different things that we would never have discovered on our own. If ever I am back in Lisbon I would hire Andre for other tours as well.

Lino was a wonderful guide and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go to Fatima. The van used was spacious and clean for our group. 1/2 day tour itinerary was perfect for us.

Carlos was terrific. He met us as planned at our hotel and drove us to Fatima in a very comfortable car. He answered all our questions - not only about Fatima - and was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. He led us at a perfect pace through the Sanctuary, and intuited the time and space we wanted to pray.

Lion was absolutely fantastic. He was on time. He was so friendly. He was so knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting ideas for the rest of our trip. We would have done other tours with him if we could have. Highly recommend. Very professional.

We failed to board the bus despite us being 1 hour early. The map provided did not show the correct meeting point.

A wonderful faith-filled experience. Be aware of the vastness of the site. There is a lot of walking & standing.

Our driver was very nice and safe. Gave lots of info about Portugal on the drive. Just wish we would have known that he was only a driver. I must have missed that on the description. There was no "guidance" once we arrived at Fatima.

Nuno is very friendly and knowledgeable about the Fatima tour we took. He arrived very promptly in a very nice and comfortable vehicle. He made sure to make us feel comfortable and answered any questions we had during our half day tour at Fatima. He never hurried us and we felt as we were chatting with a friend. We will definitely take another tour with him.

We completed the half day tour from Lisbon. Our guide, Lino, met us at our hotel and we were immediately impressed with his professionalism, friendliness and knowledge. The car was great- clean, comfortable and he offered us water. The drive was about an hour and traffic was fine (we did the afternoon trip so pick up was at 2 and we were back to hotel by 6ish). The tour itself exceeded all expectations—-peaceful, reflective, spiritual, scenic and so meaningful. It truly was one of the most amazing experiences we had in the special country. This tour we walked in the village and homes of Lucia, Francisco and Juanita, prayed at first apparition tree, then drove to The Basilica, Church and Sanctuary. I was able to share some special moments with my mother and brother on FaceTime - a perfect day in every way. Thank you Lino, tour co and trip advisors!

Tiago was amazing!! He greeted us timely at the ship. I had messaged him from Trip Advisor the evening prior just to make sure he knew of our ship name. There he was ready to drive us! It’s just the 2 of us, private tour. We booked him for 7:30. Highly recommend this, and Tiago did too! We saw the statues going into town and he recommended we stop FIRST to do our shopping. This was great because we pulled in right at 9 to Fàtima from Lisbon port and the store had just opened, meaning no other customers yet!! We would have our gifts we purchased in our backpack is to hopefully be blessed in the plaza later by a priest. We started out listening to the highly informed Tiago outside, then walking into both churches. Very moving experience. He then gave us tone for prayer and candle lighting while he located a priest. The day with Tiago was the highlight of our trip! My husband and I would highly recommend this company and doing the tour beginning at this time due to traffic flow and other visitors. Our day was a Wednesday, so it was not a weekend. I can’t speak to what your day might look like on a weekend or on the 13th but our day was very memorable. Thank you Tiago, keep doing what you do!! We had a great driver Edgar. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about Lisbon history and the area as we drove up to Fatima pointing out interesting sites on the way. We loved every bit of the tour and experience.

Diego, our driver was informative and accommodating. Stopped at the house of two of the shepherd children and provided tips on where to visit. A littler rushed (since we went to a mass). Ask for an earlier start time.

Highly recommend this tour especially if you are catholic and know the story. Our guide was perfect, he was catholic and had been to Fatima many times. He knew where to go and he knew the spots to point out to us. It was well worth the money for this private guide.

Very disappointed! The driver just dropped us off at the memorial and said I’ll pick you up in 2 hours. We were left on our own trying to make the best of it not knowing where to go and no one explaining to us what we were seeing. This was not a guided tour. It turned out to be nothing more than an expensive taxi ride from Lisbon to Fatima and back. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

Was able to attend a mass during this tour, next time will come back to see around the sanctuary. The tour guide granted our request to drop us off somewhere else.

Appreciated the driver’s punctuality in picking is up for our private drive to Fatima. Along the drive we learned a bit of Portuguese history as well as the Fatima history. Upon arrival we spent some time seeing the homes of ten little shepherds before heading to the sanctuary itself. Our driver provided us some basic information about Fátima before we were left to experience Fatima on our own. We were not rushed and were able to take time to see all that we wished.

We booked a private tour to Fatima the day before we wanted to go. The tour guide/driver was on time, professional, very personable, and extremely knowledgeable. He made the experience more rewarding. I would highly recommend the tour, company and especially the tour guide.

Visiting the cathedral and children's homes. The well where the children saw the angel was lovely. Our guide was very accommodating and so kind.

driver was very nice and pleasant. He was also informative. The driver communicated clearly via Whatsapp. He spoke perfect English. He shared information about the sties as we drove up to Fatima from Lisbon. He gave us details of the Fatima site once we arrived. He let us see the site on our own and was right on time to pick us up. He was quiet in the drive back which we appreciated since we were very tired. He was great. The trip was smooth and we will highly recommend it to anyone doing this trip.

Amazing trip to Fatima with André! André was knowledgeable about Fatima and all things Portugal! He was very professional and I enjoyed spending the afternoon chatting, laughing and learning with him! I highly recommend taking any of the several trips André offers! My next time in Portugal will Include a call for a customized itinerary!

Knowledgeable guide/driver. Was not rushed to see mass and basilicas. Going to the Home wall where the little shepherds lived was a highlight.
