Fatima Batalha Nazare Obidos Day Trip Hotel Pickup From Lisbon

Fantastic trip. Lots to see in 1 day. Alex was a great guide and we had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this tour. The itinerary is superb.

The tour was one of the best we have done. Nuno our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He shared a lot of interesting historical details. The day was enjoyable and every stop was captivating with enough free time to explore. The restaurant Nuno recommended was also very good.

Paulo was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. We very much enjoyed exploring in Nazare and Obidos. We spent more time in Nazare than expected which shortened our time in Obidos where we could have also stayed much longer. So many beautiful places to see and so little time. We were safely transported all around and appreciated Paulo’s history lessons on the region.

Nuno our guide was very knowledgeable and was a great guide for our day trip. He shared with us the history of Portugal as well as information on all the sites we visited. Picking us up at our hotel was great. I highly recommend this tour. Nuno’s was amazing.

Our Guide/Driver Aros provided excellent service. He gave very detailed narratives to the various places we visited. He gave us sufficient time to explore each place on our own. He is a safe and carefull driver throughout the long distance driving.

Elisa was a fantastic tour guide as she went out of her way to explain historical facts and she always accompanied us during the day to be sure we did not miss the hidden treasures along the way. She helped us order and ate lunch with us at a delightful restaurant. Elisa made the entire day a lovely experience.

Amazing experience to Fátima, Nazare, and Óbidos. Nuno was our guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable of all the sites we visited. We stayed on schedule and at Fatima the other travelers we were with needed additional time and Nuno was patient. Nazare felt a little rushed because the tour is 1/2 a day long you need to grab lunch at one of the stops and Nazare you have time but by the time you take pictures, head to the beach and get lunch you cut it close to when you have to leave but we had time to grab a pizza and eat quickly. The car is spacious and AC which is very comfortable and relaxing. This is a kid friendly excursion and great to take a day to see these beautiful sites.

Of the four places in the package, my favorite was Fatima. The tour operator was resourceful enough to check the time for Holy Mass which enabled us to attend just in time. However, we had no idea to bring your own candles for the light. We should have been informed beforehand. Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and respectful.. Guide also was considerate about the need to do bathroom stops and time to shop. We should also have been warned about the stiff admission fees for Batalha. Nazare and Obidos were also nice to visit.

Key sites outside of Lisbon. Fatima is about an hour and a half drive. It was a stirring sight to see where Mary appeared to the 3 children. After Fatima, the other 3 towns; Battalha, Navarre, and Obidos are on the way back. We had lunch in the seaside town of Navarre and visited the walled town of Obidos last. Our guide was very pleasant and a good driver.

Great place , experience and blessed to be able to come to Fatima and Óbidos is a gray scenery as well ! Good food and view at the Nazaré . It is good to recommend this tour . Your guide is very helpful and explains everything very well ! He gives time and don’t rush .

The driver/tour guide was amazing and had a wealth of knowledge about Portugal. The tour outside of Lisbon represented a lot of Portugal history over the past 500 years.

Nuno was the best! Super friendly and fun to be with. The sites were great and Obidos was a highlight.

We were picked up at our hotel and taken to all sights mentioned, given sufficient time to explore with commentary & dropped back to our hotel.

Nuno was an amazing guide. Right from the hotel pick up to hotel drop. It was an exceptional service. Very well spoken and amazing to see how he was catering both of us in English and the others who joined from Italy in Italian. All in all it was a great trip. Would definitely recommend it.

Our guide Nuno was excellent. He provided a lot of historical and geographical information about the areas we traveled through and to. He speaks five languages as was able to speak to our group in French and English. Terrific time!!

Our driver NuNu was so knowledgeable about every site we visited, everything Portugal and makes us want to come back and spend more time in this beautiful country! Our tour guide, Nuno, was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable about Portugal’s history , culture and its global influence. He was amicable, passionate about history and professional. Every site we visited was unique and he always went the extra mile. He answered all ofour questions and shared experiences and facts of history we were not aware off. We had a wonderful experience on this day trip with my sister in February. It was the perfect way to see so many beautiful places in just one day without feeling rushed. Our guide, Pedro, was friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout the trip. He spoke English with us and Spanish with the other passengers, making everyone feel included and comfortable. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and we had enough time to explore each destination at our own pace, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. We especially appreciated how well the itinerary was organized. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon who wants to discover Fátima, Batalha, Nazaré, and Óbidos in a single day. Nono was fantastic. He left no detail out and the tour was informative and fun. Highly recommend. He was easily able to accommodate both Spanish and English speaking guests with nothing left out.

Nonu, Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and was patience with all guests. He spoke three languages. Great driver. He was a gentleman at all times.

I requested an English tour and the only people that spoke English was us. There were a French, Italian and a lady from Romania. It was not fun not being able to socialize with the other people in the group because they didn’t speak English. Also it was not right that the tour guide had to do the tour in three different language, it was annoying. The stops were good except the lunch stop. We ate at this restaurant that was busy an it took for ever to get our food and it was expensive. The lunch was at the BathaLa stop. Too much time wasted. The driver did all the stop but he was not informative about the stops. He was also not a good driver. He drove like a maniac and put us all in danger driving too fast and stepping on the breaks a lot. I will not recommend this tour if they will give you this driver for your tour guide.

The small group experience was amazing! Our guide, Fabio, was friendly, professional and patient with those of us who lingered a little longer than expected. He knew little tricks to avoid long lines and sent us text messages to let us know how much time we had left. Fabio would give us the history of the place we were going to and also the cultural and modern significance of the town today. Although the acoustics in the van were not the best, we got the idea of what he was saying. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great itinerary and Jose was a wonderful driver and host. He gave suggestions for shopping and lunch and allowed ample time at each stop. It was nice to be in a small group

Our guide Nuno was fantastic, well informed and friendly. A ptovided uss along the trip with very good informatiom on the places we visited but also Portuguese history and culture. Highlights of the trip were Fatima and Obido. We really enjoyed the experience.

This was an awesome tour. Pedro was one of the coolest, most enthusiastic tour guides I've ever had. Pedro did the tour exactly how I prefer. Since the drive between stopping points does add up and eats into your day, Pedro gives you the history during the drive, that way when you get to the destination points, you can make the most of your time by being free to explore how you want. A lot of the reviews complain that the tour guide doesn't walk the sites with you, but unless this tour became like 12 hours long, its hard for me to imagine having enough time to explore on your own, plus listen to the tour guide give the history of each spot. Also some of the reviews complain that less time should be given to Fatima, but that place is huge. I think the amount of time of we had there was just about right to fully explore the whole church area. Overall, even if you don't like this style of tour, it was still cheaper/faster to have Pedro drive you to each of these spots as opposed to paying an Uber/taxi or taking the train. I highly recommend.

Small group and the tour guide very knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Loved Obidos, small medieval town. Also the beach town of Nazare.

Good information. We ran into an accident on the highway to Fatima which decreased our time on the actual tour by almost an hour. We really would have liked to have that hour extended into the tour but I guess this is not company policy. We did not get a refund either. Our tour guide was great and this was not his fault but it was disappointing.

Tour guide was exceptional , Fatima is solemn and Obidos and Batalha are awesome. It’s one whole day, tiring but rewarding.
