Fátima, Nazaré And Óbidos Small Group Tour From Lisbon

We really enjoyed this tour. This was the second tour we did with this company and we were so glad when we ended up having the same guide. Nunu was such an excellent guide. While driving to Fatima her told us the interesting story of the children to enhance our understanding. He gave us alone time to make the most of our time there. Nazaré was a beautiful coastal area where we had lunch and took pictures of the gorgeous coastline. Afterwards we walked through some shops. A beautiful area. Our daughter is physically challenged and Nunu made sure she was always comfortable and helped in any way he could. It was a fabulous tour that was customized because of our needs and the changes were discussed with us to make the decision. I highly recommend this tour as well as any tour with this company.

We thoroughly enjoyed our small-group tour to Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos with Selection Tours. The entire day was well organized, comfortable, and provided an excellent mix of history, culture, and free time to explore. Our guide, Rui, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and passionate about sharing the history and significance of each destination. His commentary throughout the day added tremendous value and helped us better appreciate the sites we visited. A special mention goes to Rui's lunch recommendation. The restaurant he selected was excellent, offering delicious local cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere. It was one of the highlights of the day and gave us a wonderful taste of authentic Portuguese food. From the spiritual significance of Fátima to the dramatic coastal views of Nazaré and the charm of medieval Óbidos, this tour exceeded our expectations. Annabelle was great! She gave us time at each location and was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our day trip and she was able to get us a table at a seafood restaurant in Nazare and it was the best meal we’ve had in Portugal!

Absolutely fantastic tour in all respects made so by our wonderful tour guider no no GONGALVES I loved all of the historical background that he provided us with about Portugal and each of the sites we visited. He was adorable and allowed us time to explore on our own after he gave us a wonderful introduction to all aspects of each site we went to we loved our stops in the wonderful little city by the seashore and the marvelous lunch that we had and then an absolutely fantastic visit visit to the medieval village. Wish we could take him with us and have him be our tour guide everywhere we go just wanted to take him home. He was so wonderful in all respects the best tour guide and tour we have had and we have had many thank you thank you. He is so wonderful and such a precious person to be part of your team.

The day was filled with much to do and see, perhaps even a few too much. We would have liked maybe to have just went to two of the three stops and just spent more time at those. Quite a bit of time in the car. And if you do not like your guide, well that makes for a long day

Our adventure was absolutely amazing! From initial coordination to our return we were in great hands. Our tour guide was truly the best. My last day in Lisbon, I went with a small group of 5 total on this tour. This was my second tour with Valerio. He remembered it was my birthday and brought me a pastry that morning. I appreciated that a lot! The first stop on this tour was Fatima. It’s a very spiritual city and it was serene to be there on my birthday. Valerio told the group the history of Fatima, he talked about the sighting of The Virgin Mary appearing in Fatima to three shepherd children. And even at the groups’s request he took us to the home village of the children. We had an amazing lunch in Nazaré and out final stop was Óbidos. The entire trip Valerio was enthusiastic. He answered all questions and made the trip highly enjoyable. I recommend Valerio as a tour guide!

Fantastic tour. Riu had an incredible knowledge of history. He made sure to hit the highlights about the places that we visit. he explained in an easy way all the facts about the cities or monuments . he was kind and friendly . This tour was like a VIP tour . It turned out be a private tour, loved how John explained everything. He had fun facts, historic facts, religious facts and just was very good at explaining every thing and answering our questions. It was a tour that felt more like a nice travel through time adventure. He catered to us, nothing was rushed at our on pace.

Our tour guide was excellent and flexible to our group of four wants and needs. I am happy I bought the whole day tour instead of only the half day. We took our time at Fatima, soaking in each of the experiences and chapels there. I was disappointed that the Rosary Museum was closed on Mondays but the shops are open. Nazaré was very quaint and a must see for the views, the food and the two apparitions that occurred there. We ran out of time and energy to go inside Óbidos but we went up to its walls. Our guide would have spent the evening there if we wanted to. I would highly recommend it.

An excellent trip, with Rui as our guide. What he didn’t know, as a Professor of History, could be written on a postage stamp! It’s fair to say he absolutely made our trip. The day was interesting and informative, and excellent value for money. We were lucky to be the only two passengers, so this turned out to be a private tour. Fatima was wonderful, as were Nazare and Obidos. All communication from the company was clear and in good time. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Our guide, Rui, was absolutely wonderful! We were so lucky to have him as our guide. The vehicle was comfortable. The trip to Fatima was amazing, as was Nazare and Obidos, and Rui was able to use his knowledge of history to bring great detail to our visit. His passion for his work shone through, the whole day and made our trip so special. A wonderful day; couldn’t be bettered. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off there, at the end of the day. Nothing was hurried and Rui showed great consideration to my husband, who can walk a long way, but at a slower pace. As we were fortunately the only two clients, the need for a gentle pace could be accommodated. Can highly recommend.

Visiting Fátima was amazing and spiritual. It was beautiful to be there. The towns of Nazaré and Óbidos were amazing sites. Our guide Jon went above and beyond in giving the tour. He was amazing in explaining everything! Highly recommend this tour and Jon!!

The guide talked nonstop about Catholic Bible stories, a little overview is good, but it went on and on. Heavy religious focus. Not much freedom to roam. The 8 hour day was actually 12. Pretty disappointing given the high price.

We selected Selection Tours Lisboa as an easy way to see a few destination sites in Portugal. Namely Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Was an absolutely great idea. Our guide Nunu was extremely knowledgeable and so polite and friendly. He was able to give us an entire history of the sites we would be seeing and provided detailed instructions on how to enjoy each town when we were on our own. He also provided a great history and culture of the Portuguese people so that we could appreciate our tour and what we were seeing. We would absolutely recommend Nunu and Selection Tours Lisboa to anyone that is thinking about it. Truly a phenomenal experience.

We had an excellent guide, named mr. Nuno Goncalves. He knows a lot about the history of the places we visited. He was extremely polite and kind. He did his utmost to make the tour a succes!

We had a good tour day. We spent so much time at Fatima, which I preferred and our guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites. He was patient and made our visit memorable. We were the only couple on the tour too that day. My only constructive criticism is that maybe give clients some guided tour time but also let them roam a bit on your own and agree on a pick up point later in the day.

Our guide told us that he is a professor of Portuguese history, and he was excellent. We learned a lot from him on this trip. He was very professional, informative and very courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. I have been on several Viator tours in many countries and this ranks amongst the best - thanks to him. I have already told all my friends who plan to travel to Lison to take this tour.

Visit to Fatima and the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity was an amazing experience. Nazare was a beautiful seaside town with a long sandy beach and traditional restaurants. Obidos was also a beautiful town and had a number of shops selling all kinds of goods along its narrow streets. The trip was well organised and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Philipa was our tour guide. We had 6 people in our mini van. The trip was awesome with great sites. Lots of time to walk around the cities. If u are looking for a full day tour I recommend a small group tour.

We had a wonderful time with Lucia our guide on this day trip. There was only one other couple on the tour so we got a lot of personal attention. Fatima was quiet and reverent, Nazare was untamed and Obidos was fun and charming with lots of yummy treats to sample. Lucia recommended a very good restaurant in Nazare where we dined on fresh red snapper and vinho verde for lunch! Only constructive comment was that perhaps the trip should just include 2 of the locations with the other combined with some other town/locale. Overall a great day!

Valeri , our driver/guide is very polite and knowledgeable about the history of every place we visited …Thank you! My only recommendation is to ask before ordering fish or make sure you know the prices before ordering .. we paid 200 euros for two whole fish with vegetables and two sodas ..

Lourenco was amazing. He was very knowledgeable. We learned so much. Aside from the moving visit to Fátima, the lunch at Rosa dos Ventos was our favorite. Lourenco reserved us a table and we were treated like family. The fish was so fresh and delicious. Best meal we have had in Portugal!!
