Alberto was a great guide! We enjoyed our tour through all the towns. Highly recommend the tour to all!

Itinerary
Get comfortable in an air-conditioned vehicle as you start your journey toward the town of Fátima, a once-sleepy rural village that became an important pilgrimage site when three shepherd children reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary in 1917. Visit the Sanctuary of Fatima, a basilica that honors the apparition and attracts millions of Catholic pilgrims every year who go to pay their respects to the shrine
Next, visit the 14th-century Batalha Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that illustrates the rich artistic heritage of the late 1300s. Discover the impressive royal burial site at the basilica’s Founder’s Chapel, where King João I, Queen Philippa of Lancaster and their son Prince Henry the Navigator were buried. Note that we only visit the main church area, which is free of charge. To visit the whole structure (which we don't have much time), cloisters included, an additional charge is required (to be paid by the client directly to the local ticket office). NOT INCLUDED IF YOU CHOOSE THE FÁTIMA PILGRIMAGE & ÓBIDOS OPTION
A stop to enjoy the old town of Nazaré, site of miracles, visions and one of the best views of the Portuguese coastline. NOT INCLUDED IF YOU CHOOSE THE FÁTIMA PILGRIMAGE & ÓBIDOS OPTION
Take a short break for lunch (own expense) in Nazaré, a quaint fishing town famous for its variety of restaurants and cafes. A popular summer retreat for the Portuguese, the village offers an interesting insight into local life. Short stop at the Nazaré cliffs to see the ocean views. NOT INCLUDED IF YOU CHOOSE THE FÁTIMA PILGRIMAGE & ÓBIDOS OPTION
Finally, make your way to the medieval village of Óbidos. Founded in 208 BC, Óbidos is commonly known in Portugal as the 'wedding present town', as it was a gift from King Dinis to Queen Isabel on their wedding day in 1282. Follow your guide to one of the numerous wine shops and sample the Ginja liqueur, and then enjoy free time to explore the village’s medieval fortress, narrow streets, colorful houses and Gothic doorways and windows decorated with flowerpots and dazzling tiles. Grab a snack or browse around the tiny shops that offer a varied collection of beautiful handmade ceramic art before making your way back to Lisbon.

Highlight of the day was lunch and the beach and views at Nazare, spectacular! We also enjoyed Obidos which was quaint.
After hitting the submit to book button I was like what have I done- 9 hours- Fabio made it an amazing 9 hours he brought our group today like long time friends and family! He made sure we were well taken care of - I would highly recommend and if you can specifically get Fabio even better! Thanks for a great day of touring the beautiful Portugal!
This tour provided a wonderful opportunity to see the Portuguese countryside and to visit the highlights of some really unique Portuguese towns. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the tour was well organized while providing plenty of freedom to explore on one's own. I especially enjoyed visiting Obidos, which was small enough to walk around and thoroughly explore. The three towns provided different perspectives on Portugal, and while I would have liked a bit more time in each place, it was enough to get a taste of the towns (and start planning a trip back).
Nuvo was an excellent guide and his knowledge of the 4 (3 scheduled plus a bonus cathedral visit) stops we made was a great help in understanding their history. He also gave us restaurant suggestions when we stopped for lunch in Nazaré. Small group tours are definitely the way to go. Thank you Nuvo for your expert guidance!
Duarte was amazing, he shared sooo much good history and insight at all the stops. He was fun, very entertaining and so knowledgeable. Plus he took great care of us. The sites were amazing and I'm so glad I did this tour. Lots of walking, wear comfy shoes. Van was very nice, smooth ride. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
An excellent sightseeing tour in a small group of 8 people which is perfect fit. The itineraries are well organized for the length of visit. An enjoyable and beautiful scenery in each spot visit. The Driver and Tour Guide Richardo Fonseca is super good.
We got to see all the main sights. Fatima was very touching Wish we had a little more time there. Lots to see. Nazare was also beautiful and we had plenty of time to enjoy lunch overlooking the water in a place the guide recommended. The view from the top was amazing. Enjoyed Obidos and the little village within along with the liquor tasting. The small group tour is the way to go. No waiting for 50 people to board the bus.
4 stops, each one special in their own way. Our guide Nuna was very friendly and knowledgeable. The van was very comfortable and we love it was a small group of 8 allowing us to get to know each other. Unlike the large bus tours we were able to be very flexible about how long we stayed at each place, and was able to park closer than the big buses. It was a great day.
Antonio was full of information on Portugal and easy to listen to. The van was comfortable with a nice sized group and safe driving. The stops were well spaced to balance between walking and van riding.
This tour is fantastic. Our guide Benny was awesome! He really cared about teaching us the history of the places we were visiting and made sure everyone had fun. Very good driver and great personality. Thank you!
This was a great tour with interesting stops. The small group tour is a relaxed and personal way to go.
The destinations were great but I expected more from the Viator guide. We got some history while driving to Fatima and Obidos but then the guide just left us on own own instead of giving a guided tour in Fatima and Obidos.
Great tour. Plenty of free time as well as historical information. Our guide, Ricardo Fontanez was very informative and allowed us time to really enjoy each location. Also offered restaurant recommendations. Definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the trip very much. Our guide Duarte Cerqueria (Johnny) was both knowledgeable and entertaining...and very helpful and patient with photo taking. We had a lovely day and only wish Nazare had delivered some big waves.
Tomas, our tour guide and driver was great! He efficiently drove us to each location, maneuvered parking all the while giving us a rich and deeply knowledgeable history of what we were about to experience. I appreciated that he was helping us into and out of the van and made sure we were all safe and knew exactly where and what time we were to meet up. Having us small group allowed us to move quickly and get the most out of our day!! I really loved Nazaré & Obidos. They were the highlights of my day.
We enjoyed this tour. The guide was very knowledgable. He gave us tons of information about the sites, the history of Portugal and managed the program perfectly. We appreciated that the we could visit many different sites during the day. I strongly recommend this tour for those who want to learn a lot about the history of Portugal and to visit interesting sites not far from Lisbon.
Our tour guide, Sergio was extremely knowledgeable. I don’t know how he remembered so many dates and names of kings. Each stop was rich of history information. The stops were beautiful and the time given for each stop was reasonable. So far it’s the best tour in our trip. Highly recommend.
Great day exploring Fátima, Nazare and Indios. Duarte was a great guide and was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour!
Gonzales was an amazing guide. Took his time, very knowledgeable, great driver and excellent guide. The tour is great. Just enough time to tour around the many different spots. Did not feel rushed.
Very knowledgeable about history. Very helpful about finding restrooms. Very helpful about making sure he knew where we were.
Antonia was a great guide,-enthusiastic and very informative, too! We learned so much about all the areas that we visited! Note-Be aware of uneven pavements and the high waves in Nazare are only during the autumn / winter months!
Tito was a great guide. lots of good information and fun. Good pace and important bathroom stops. Had a wonderful group with us and really enjoyed the adventure
Great tour from Lisbon. Loved everything we saw. Good guide and fun group
Great experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history and area. Great insights. Took time to answer any questions we had. Have recommendations for lunch. Very personable
Our guide was excellent! Very informative! Great connecting the group!
Great guide and wonderful company. We could have had more time in Nazare and less time in Fatima. Obidos was rushed too. The tour needs to be longer or fewer stops.
The trip was amazing, Gonzalo our driver and guide was very nice! We really enjoyed our trip! The tour was incredible, Thanks.
Great overall Tour! Great towns to visit. Our guide Tomas was very knowledgeable about the areas as he is a local. He was very accommodating as we were running late from a fantastic restaurant (Casa Pires a Sardinha) he recommended! Very good food but don't expect it to be served quickly as it high quality.
Well worth booking with Viator. Our tour guide Thomas was exceptional in his knowledge of the history of the different stops on our tour. He really made us feel like we were a part of it
Tito was honestly one of the highlights of my trip! He was such a wonderful tour guide, making me feel welcome and comfortable from the very beginning. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine love for Lisbon made the tour so much more than just sightseeing. He shared fascinating stories, showed us special places, and made everything feel personal and memorable. You can really tell that Tito loves what he does, and his friendly personality made the whole experience even better. I enjoyed every moment and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you, Tito, for making my time in Lisbon so special! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting the city. If you get the chance to tour with Tito, you’re in for a treat!
Comfortable, pleasant and well balanced tour with snippets of the history of the places by Hugo, our friendly guide.
A Wonderful Day Exploring Portugal with Tito My dad and I had a lovely day on this tour with Inside Lisbon. Everything was very well organised, and Tito was a fantastic guide who made the day both enjoyable and informative. Although I’m not a religious person, I am spiritual, so I still really appreciated our visit to Fátima. Tito shared lots of interesting information about the religious history and stories of the area, which helped us understand its significance. The stop at the monastery was also a highlight, with its beautiful Gothic church. Unfortunately, the Atlantic fog meant we couldn't see much of Nazaré, which was a shame, but Tito's lunch recommendations were very helpful and we still enjoyed our stop there. Óbidos was a charming, quaint little town and the perfect way to finish the day. Trying the local ginjinha, served in a little chocolate cup, was a real treat! Overall, we had a wonderful day exploring some of Portugal's beautiful and historically significant places. The tour was well organised, the information was excellent, and Tito was a fantastic guide who made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this tour with Inside Lisbon, especially if you're looking for an enjoyable and informative day trip. Thank you, Tito, for a great day out!
Our guide Tomas was EXCELLENT. HE WAS VERY INTERESTING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE HE made the experience smooth and enjoyable do not miss
Excellent guide and a wonderful mix of sites. There's nothing I would do any differently other than I wish I had gone in the cathedral as soon as I had arrived at Fatima rather than leaving it for last ( that was my own oversight and not the guide's).
Paolo was great. Very knowledgeable. He told the history of Fátima, Batalha and Nazare. He was patient and funny. He gave us great restaurants to choose from. He was a safe driver and made sure we were comfortable. I wish he was our driver for Porto on Tuesday.
Take this tour to see some of the best parts of Portugal. Our guide was so knowledgeable and the ride so comfortable. We had ample time in each place to enjoy.
To be honest I was quite disappointed with the experience; one of my friends recommended the tour with this company, however I found it to be very dull and would’ve preferred to have done the trip on my own as it would’ve been the same or better. The only benefit I see when taking this tour is that you don’t have to drive yourself or map your route while using different transportation systems to visit all of the places you’ll visit as part of the tour. It didn’t feel like a tour experience to me but basically having a person driving you around from one spot to the next and back. Things to improve: - Check-in experience: the company gathers a large number of people in a corner of a street, where the crowd distributes themselves on one side of the street or the other. You don’t know from which street the tour operators will come from, nor the type or size of the vehicle, so you are not looking out for anything. The tour operators announce themselves in one side of the street but not everyone can see or listen to them at first as you only see some people gathering around “something” til you realise there’s a person calling out some names and giving out instructions. I think it’s best for the tour company to send some instructions prior to the trip for people to be in the lookout, and for what to be in the lookout for, because you can easily miss your name after being called or the miss the instructions all together. - in-car experience: there’s a lot of driving around in this tour. Unfortunately the operator I drove with didn’t make the experience engaging nor interesting; the tour operator just threw some facts and then drove quietly for the remainder of the ride. It wasn’t an interactive tour, nobody engaged with each other, nor with the tour operator, and we spent most of the time sitting quietly while the tour operator drove us to different places. - tour experience: we would arrive at a place and be left to our own devices for a specific amount of time. This is how it works: (1) drive for 30-45 mins and (2) arrive and be told to leave the car, spend some time going around on your own and be back at the car at a certain time. This is why I say I would’ve preferred to go on my own because I was only driven around but wasn’t given much information about a place or anything. In the 10 hours that the tour lasted, at most I spent 5 minutes talking to the tour operator and that was it. The only things I think are good about this tour are the fact that you visit a lot of places in one day (Fatima, Batalha, Nazaré and Óbidos) and that the tour operator keeps the schedule on time. I don’t recommend this tour and potentially would recommend doing it with another company with whom I’ve made tours in the past and have found their experience much more rich, fun and engaging.
The experience from start to finish was so well planned and organized. Each visit was amazing perfect spots and our tour guide. Alberto was amazing friendly and wonderful. We highly recommend this.
The driver tour guide was very polite and had a great sense of the historical importance of each site we visited.
Our tour guide/driver was Antonio Castro and he was amazing. He provided lots of historical facts and information along the way. The driver was smooth and the places that we visited were breathtaking. I would highly recommend this tour and you are lucky to have Antonio as the guide you will enjoy it even more.
This is one of the best tours I’ve been on. Duarte, our guide was VERY informative and friendly. The day’s stops were diverse and interesting. I would give this tour a 5+.
We had a great time. Saw the fascinating and majestic churches and the beautiful villages. Had the tasty seafood at Nazaré. Our guide António Castro is a fantastic, knowledgeable and humble guy who knows his stuff inside out. Sharing the history, the culture and the traditions. We enjoyed every minute of it and truly appreciated it. Thank you so much António, we love to have you as our guide and friend.
Alberto was a kind, thoughtful guide and driver. He provided great information to our group, and good recommendations for lunch. The group of 8 is the perfect tour group size for us.
Excellent tour and excellent guide. The guide - Nuno - was very informative, explaining in advance and in loco the places visited. The places visited were all wonderful and very unique with different characteristics.excellent location
Amazing experience and our guide Benny was knowledgeable, friendly. I would highly recommend. The driver Fabio was amazing driver and friendly as well

Excellent and introspective tour throughout the day Would recommend for young and older visitors. 😍😍😍👍👍
