Fátima, Nazaré And Óbidos Private Tour From Lisbon

A great tour-l got to know Nazaré and the site of the legend of Dom Fuas Roupinho. Obidos, with its marvelous castle, was conquered from the Saracens in 1148 by Portugal's first king, Dom Afonso Henriques. Fátima is an excellent place of worship and pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Fatima and the three little shepherds.

We went with Lourenço and he was so knowledgeable of the area I thought he would’ve major in history. He was great. Went with us everywhere and gave us enough time at all the locations and was very friendly. The drive was long, but he made it an experience. I would highly recommend going with him for any tours.

Great tour of Fatima, Nazare, and Obidos! Fatima was not too crowded when we visited, so there was time to visit and pray at the Cathedral. We had lunch at Nazare overlooking the ocean, and had the best grilled codfish. It was delightful to explore Obidos, a medieval village with beautiful, small churches. Anna Bella, our guide made sure we were comfortable, and safely drove us around. It was a pleasant experience for us. Highly recommended!

Excellent! The magnificence of Fatima is breathtaking and humbling, even if you are not a religious person, like me. Nazare is so peaceful and beautiful this time of year. The history of Obidos as well as the history of Fatima and Nazare, is fascinating. Plus, as an added extra, my wife and I tasted, Ginjinha, served in the chocolate cups. Delicious!! Our tour guide, Nuno, is perhaps the most knowledgeable person on Portuguese history in the country. Nuno is not just a great educator, he is also a great tour guide.

Lourenço picked us up at the Moxy Lisbon City on April 1, 2026 to go to Obidos, Nazere, and Fatima. Lourenço is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, personable and a wonderful tour guide. We had the BEST experience. He told us so much history and facts about Portugal. We wanted to have lunch so he made a reservation for us at the most unique authentic Portuguese restaurant in Nazaré and the waitstaff treated us like kings. He drove so safely, which is a priority for me bc the Ubers can drive dangerously. My friend / travel agent booked this tour and I could not be happier. We saw so much and learned so much. My 2 teenagers loved the tour and Lourenço, which says a lot! Lourenço also gets it when everyone is quiet, he reads the room well. Highly recommend this tour bc all 3 spots are epic to see. What a great experience! The pick up was easy and on time. Travel to each of the locations was nice. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made it a point to highlight various places and history. She gave us plenty of time at each stop. She recommended some options for lunch and the spot we picked was very good. I’d definitely recommend!

Today we had Filipa she was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and personable. Our experience in Fatima will definitely be a lifetime event due to her explanation and knowledge of the sacred place. So pleasant and fun. We had a tasty lunch at Cafe tires. This was a wonderful suggestion family owned and ran. Experienced the lady with 7 skirts. Would highly recommend Filipa. Best 8hrs. Today!

I felt we spent too much time at Fatima and not enough at Obidos. Our guide was quite knowledgeable especially of Fatima

We were lucky enough to have the same tour guide Philippa, for a second day. Covering the three towns in one day is a lot, but she was an excellent judge of how much time to spend in each. Fatima is impressive and it's moving to see the tombs of the children. Obidos in July is very hot, and the streets are cobblestones, can be slippery, and some are very steep. Be sure to bring water or stop for a cool drink. We enjoyed Nazare the most, with it's shops and restaurants along the beach, and a wonderful light lunch at Blue Jardin. The view from the cliff above is amazing. Thank you, Philippa, for a great day!

Selection Tours provided my family of 5 adults w/a fantastic private group tour & with a terrific driver/guide named Lues. I’d highly recommend them. They did everything they said they would like picking us up & dropping us at our hotel. They even moved the time frame -at my requst- giving us xtra tour time(no xtra charge). “Lues” their driver/guide picked us up right on time, & started our day bringing us to Fatima souvenir facility where it saved us money rather than buying items at Fatima, He got us to all the sites we wanted (Fatima, the shepards houses, Nazene, & Obidos). He even picked out a great restaurant where we had a delicious lunch. Throughout the day he so accommodating making sure we had plenty of time at each site for taking pictures while giving us a wonderful commentary about the history or background of each site & the van was modern & very comfortable. It was an awesome tour. Very comprehensive and our tour guide explained all the history and highlights. Her recommendation for the resturant for lunch was great. The food food was amazing.

My husband and I had a private tour. We’re very lucky and very pleased to have Luis Salgado as our guide. He’s very kind, friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable and well versed. Since we have some limitations, he made sure the tours won’t be so difficult for us. My husband and I couldn’t say enough good things about him. He became such a good friend that we even decided to book another tour with him, this time to Sintra, Cascais with the finale of enjoying a special treat, pasteis de Belem.

The tour to Fatima, Nazare and Obidos was fantastic. Luis was such a great guide. He was knowledgable and was personally very interesting. He is super informative, easy going and a good driver. It was great to learn so much about Portugal from him. The van was also very clean and smelled great. Lunch in Nazare was a highlight. The restauraunt was a fabulous experience in itself. First of all, we want to thank our tour guy, Nuno. He's been amazing with such a vast knowledge about the history of each city we went, he's the best agent we have had the pleasure to interact with. We enjoyed our day by going to Fatima first and Nazare and finished with Obidos. All of them are very beautiful to see.

We loved this tour! Had the best time with Ines! She only does tours part-time, but if you have the ability to request a guide, easily one of the most thoughtful, informative, friendly, curious, interesting, engaging, down to earth humans I have met. Speaks many languages, has lived in multiple countries, attended some of the finest schools in Europe, and when she isn’t sharing her homeland with visitors, she is an advocate for children and others who often don’t have a voice. Meeting and getting to know Ines was the best part of the tour! Thank you Ines if you’re reading this! Ines also had a local restaurant reserved and was best food we had over 5 days in Lisbon - she ate with us and shared both interesting history and the stories of the Portuguese people in present day. It was a fantastic tour start to finish and would highly recommend to others if visiting Portugal.

Fatima, Obidos and Nazare were very interesting locations only because of our tour guide Rue. He has a thorough knowledge of all the sites, knows the people working at the sites, and uses his contacts and charm to get the best for his customers.

A wonderful day! The driver, Mumo, was on time. He asked what our interests and expectations were so he could adjust his plan. He provided us with umbrellas when there was unexpected rain in Fátima and guided us through the complex and explained the significance. I had wanted to purchase a bottle of holy water and he investigated this for me. Nazare was a fishing village and we had a nice lunch in a restaurant overlooking the beach and ocean. The medieval town of Óbidos was wonderful. I was reluctant to visit because of a knee problem, but the guide helped me and I was able to visit. A wonderful experience.

Out of three towns only Nazare merits any attention. Fatima is for catholics, Obidos looks like a theme park, especially with gaming convention going on.

Nazare was fabulous. the waves were not 86 ft .but we also went to Supertubos which was great also. We had a private driver that picked us up at the hotel then returned us to the airport to fly back to London.

Joao was a great teacher for us during this beautiful tour. He taught us about local history, traditions and the beautiful people of Portugal. It was a pleasure of meeting a great tour guide and and a kind and honest person.

We did a 6 person private tour (Fatima-Nazare-Obidos); well worth the extra euros; we were 100% accommodated by the tour company and our fantastic guide Joao! Joao made the tour excellent with his vast knowledge and kind demeanor. He ensured our requests were met (eg., staying at Fatima long enough so we could attend morning mass) We visited all the places described in the tour. Our stop for lunch was unforgettable. The sights are terrific but our guide made all even better. Timed the visit so we could go to mass. She had history and cute stories all thru the tour. We recommend must do .

An excellent tour and Tour Guide! This was the second tour that we took with our fantastic tour Guide Lucia (also went to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril which was also fantastic)!! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Lucia as she took us and guided us through all of the amazing sites on our tours. She offered recommendations for restaurants (I highly recommend Rosa dos Ventos in Nazare) which were fabulous and took us to the best areas in each location. Lucia went a step further and shared things to do even beyond our tours. Portugal is absolutely beautiful, filled with beautiful people and we were so lucky to have spent two full days with our beautiful, humourous and knowledgeable tour guide Lucia!! We will definitely look for her when we return!!!

Terrible tour guy. He showed up with alcohol smelling in his breath, and looked tired. During the trip, he only talked about his personal life which I didn’t want to hear much and he kept repeated what he said about his life. He drove fast between 180km/h to 200km/h, I thought we could crash anytime. To me, I think he can’t be a tour guy, he didn’t train well to be a tour guy. I write this so the owner should aware of.

Our guide, Valero, was fantastic. He provided a good balance between a guided tour of our destinations and free time. And he was a wealth of information!
