Fátima, Nazaré, Óbidos And S. Martinho Do Porto Small-group Tour From Lisbon

Well! We were in Lisbon for 5 nights and booked 3 tours through TripAdvisor. The first 2 were spectacular, as has been my experience with TA and Viator in the past! Unfortunately, this time it was a total disaster! As usual, I received my confirmation after booking and 48 hours before my activity my account was charged the $175. I then received my tickets and a pickup time at my hotel. I found it strange though that I did not receive anything regarding the vehicle and my driver, so late on the night before I sent a message. On the day of the trip we were never picked up in the morning!!! I called the tour operator after waiting 30 minutes but got a voicemail and left a detailed message. I then called TA/Viator. About an hour later I received a message stating my $175 was being refunded. I then received a message from the operator telling me he never received this booking request. I told him I find that response unacceptable since my account was charged and I was sent a voucher with details. This was our last day in Lisbon and Fátima was one of the main reasons we came so it was very disappointing!!!!

This was a terrible experience and such a disappointing start to our trip! Nobody arrived for our scheduled tour! The worst was no contact at all! Now fighting for a refund!!!! Worst service we have ever experienced!

Full day of visiting most beautiful places. Fatima is a very religious place where it is large and able accommodate many worshipers.

What an amazing day! All 3 locations were unique: Fatima was powerful and inspiring; Nazare was stunning as well as historic and Obidos was charming. Our guide, Andre, was knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. His personality was engaging and he helped create a memorable experience for us all. Highly recommend!

Nazaré and Óbidos were really cool; Nazaré reminded me of a lot of beach towns in California. Óbidos, the medieval village, was my favorite. It had so many cool shops featuring local artists, and tons of delicious chocolate. My biggest complaint of this tour is that I wish we had been able to spend more time at Óbidos, less time at Fátima.

We had a very pleasant day visiting these interesting locations. Our guide, Andre, had a delightful sense of humor and gave us lots of background information as we went on our journey. We took this tour on a rainy Sunday which worked out to our advantage because the restaurants in Nazaré (where we stopped for lunch) weren’t as busy as they usually are and we were able to get a table to enjoy a delicious lunch with an incredible view. Just something to consider as you book your tour.

The trip was a great success ! I will greatly recommend this day trip . And if you get Andre Feldman as a guide , you got the best package !! If you plan to go on Sunday , you will also be able to enjoy the mass in the Basilica Of The Most Holy Trinity at 11:00AM . We were a v small group ,so our fantastic, fun , smart , knowledgeable , multi linguistic guide ,Andre Feldman ,could give each of us close attention ,exploring the spiritual sanctuary of Fátima, the picturesque coastal charm of Nazaré, and the medieval beauty of Óbidos. Your lunch and walk through the narrow streets of S. Martinho will complete this great trip ! Be ready to have plenty of liquor de ginja during your last stop!

Excellent…it would make no sense trying to go to all three places in one day. It was like a private tour, only one other couple in the van. The guide was very attentive and shared knowledge as well as experiences. Traveling with Viator one feels secure and can have confidence that they will enjoy the trip. This trip is all day, however, the distances to each place was were the time was taken…we had an hour to twi in each destination…we could choose our preference. The sites fabulous and the culture and people divine. I do recommend taking cash since one or two places may not accept credit cards. So thankful for this company and the people they have as part of the tours.

We had a great time. John was flexible with our schedule so we were about to spend time watching the big waves. He was personable and knowledgeable about the places we visited.

We highly recommend Fatima visit for all travelers, and tours with Viator. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

The trip was easy and fun! We were able to personalize our visit with more or less time at each stop as we requested. Vasco even through in some personal visits with local friends so we could get a true taste of an area. Each location was wonderful and I feel the tour was well worth what we paid. I don't think we could have seen all three areas so easily without this tour. Fantastic!

Great touring experience with our very knowledgeable guide. My favorite was Nazare and would have liked to spend a little more time there. Overall though, we were able to see three towns, all very different and awesome lunch at the beach in Nazare. Confortable van and beautiful country side while driving with lots of information imparted by our house during the drive.

Luis was excellent and full of information. We are so glad we had him as our tour guide. Would definitely recommend Trip Advisor an d actually, already have. It was a wonderful experience.

What an incredible trip . I have traveled all over the world and Lila, our tour guide was the best guide we have ever had . Extremely knowledgeable,entertaining and just an overall great guide and person . She had amazing stories and answered all of our questions . Even performed an intimate Fado song for our group . Hats off to you Lila - perfection !

Our guide, Igor, turned the trip to a pleasant experience. We started late as the first van had mechanical problems. Igor made sure we didn’t miss anything. He was very knowledgeable and witty.

Going to Fatima is always a great start. Followed by one of the most beautiful beaches, Nazaré and a fabulous beachfront lunch. Grand finale at Obidos, such as quaint and lovely town that transports you to an earlier century. Our guide, Luis, was very knowledgeable and made thisbyoue very special for all.

We got off to a rocky start when the guide arrived 30 minutes late due to a mechanical problem. But once we were on our way, our guide, Igor, was friendly, informative and lead us on a great day of sightseeing. The cities of Fatima, Nazare and Obidos are all worth seeing! I would definitely recommend this tour!

The trip to Fatima, Nazare and Obidos was a very good venture. Our tour guide and driver (Louis) was very accommodating with our pickup at the selected location and drop off at our airbnb. He was able to naviagate to all of the locations very well. Fatima was very interesting as a faith pigimage of the location of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin to 3 young children - very inspiring sights. Nazare was the site of a beautiful ocean beach area with many magnificent views. Obidos was a quaint area with many interesting shops to meander through in the afternoon. This is certainly a very good trip to provide a "taste" of many keen locations in Portugal. Thank-you!

We traveled to Portugal and did a great tour with Igor. He was very helpful along the way. He stated all of the hotspots and even took us to a secret hotspot. We had a wonderful time on our tour with him. He was courteous, kind, and very helpful. Thank you, Igor for being a tour guide, you were awesome.

This day trip was full of fascinating information regarding the apparitions of Mary in Fatima. Luis provided so much interesting facts about this story. He really made this an amazing experience. We were able to visit the homes of the children and the site of the apparitions. We also got to visit the churches and light some candles. We then had the most amazing lunch at Rosa dos Ventos. Best fish EVER! My goodness!!! Then we went to explore a castle in Obidos. That was such a treat! I could have spent hours there just exploring, shopping, taking pics. It was such a cute little village that remains the same as it did hundreds of years ago. It was vibrant and full of charm! Please note that this was much longer than expected. We didn’t get back until 7:00, which we did not mind because we took our sweet time shopping and sightseeing during our free time. Luis never rushed us. He was very patient. If you absolutely need to return at a certain time, please let your tour guide know. I had to move our dinner reservation to 8:00. It was not a problem for us, but just something to keep in mind. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. Luis was wonderful! Thank you!

Great tour, Vasco was great. Plenty of time to see everything. Would have been nice to have seen the children’s house in Fátima but it is not a stop on this tour. Highly recommend! AC van and max of 6 people provides personal attention.

Luis, our guide, was very knowledgeable about every stop. When we stopped at Fatima, a mass was being held and many people were participating in the pilgrimage. This was the first time visiting all of these areas and I have plans to come back and spend more time here.

Dr. Andre Feldman is the best! Owing to some of the tour group’s members getting lost, Dr. Feldman was able to find them and drive the entire group back to Lisbon. This was in time for our dinner and fado tour. Mabuhay ka, Andre from your grateful Filipino family in Virginia, USA! 👏🙂

Our tour guide (Dr.) Andre Feldman made this trip memorable to say the least. He’s very knowledgeable of the history of Portugal and this region in particular, and took the time to share that knowledge and experience. We were very impressed with the multiple languages that he spoke with the correct accents, and thus the title “Dr.”….

The best was Nazare! Very good trip and Andre guide. A slow tour among cities, time enough to know the places.

The tour was great, it would of been good to have a little more time in each place to take pics and shop, but we got to see everything. Would recommend.

I did this small group tour with my sister and it was a fantastic experience all round. From start to finish, the communication with Sofia and later with the tour guide Luis Pinto-Coelho was indeed excellent. Luis was quite knowledgeable and provided plenty of insight into the history and culture of Portugal in several languages for the benefit of multilingual tourists in the group. Being a small group was comfortable for everyone as we tried to befriend each other. The tour was at a reasonably comfortable pace with enough time to explore and wander the sights. I would certainly recommend Lisbon Native Tours to anyone interested.

Great tour in Fátima on a lovely Easter Sunday . Andre was a great guy, fantastic sense of humour, knowledgeable of each locations and great driver. We were in a small group so I enjoyed it well and with longer free time to explore and dine , it was a wonderful day.

Glad to take the tour with them and most definitely will recommend Luis Pinto a very nice guide speaks Spanish Portuguese and English well , my husband and I really enjoyed it, will come back with our girls . Did I mention that they will pick you up and drop you off from your hotel ? Excellent service .

Great experience! Our tour guide Luis Coelho was excellent, giving great historical information and valuable tips for the places we visited. Don’t forget to bring some cash, there are few places that won’t accept credit cards.

I am glad that I chose this trip for me and my 83 yo mom. The size of the group was just perfect. There were 8 of us in total. Our guide was Andre' Feldman - he was very prompt with pick up from the hotel and gave us very good information about the places we visited. He gave us ample time for each visit site and pit stops. We never felt rushed and felt that we were given adequate time to explore the areas on our own. The highlight of the trip for me and my mom was when we visited Fatima - not only were we able to attend a mass at the Shrine, but we also got to visit the houses of where the 3 children lived (my mom loved and enjoyed it!!). What made this trip very pleasant for us is the guide, Andre' - he made sure that everyone in the the tour was given appropriate attention (we spoke in different languages and he effortlessly switched from one to the other). He particularly took into consideration and took great care of my mom, being the oldest in the group. Andre' even gave us souvenirs at the end of the tour :-) I highly recommend this day-trip!!

Diogo was our tour guide - completely wonderful human and amazing energy. He gave us so much context for what we were seeing, hearing and learning in Portugal. His passion for Portugal has left us completely in love with his beautiful country and people. We will absolutely be coming back again! As for the tour itself 1) Fátima was unexpectedly humbling (we aren't Catholics but could see how important a site it was) and we were glad to share in that experience. 2) Nazaré was just completely breathtaking - we recommend walking down to the lighthouse/surf museum and taking a 2euro pp tuktuk back up. We ate lunch at Portobello in the square and the salad was delicious, service excellent. 3) Óbidos was another amazing place - picture perfect and we did our touristy souvenir shopping here. We were very lucky with the weather (unseasonably hot for March in Portugal) but don't let that put you off going - it would be just as gorgeous in rain / cloudy. There was lots of time in the van travelling, which was both good for rest-time and insightful for Diogo to share his wealth of experience. We recommend trainers and comfortable clothes (bring water). All in all, an unforgettable trip - thank you so much Diogo!! "Let me tell you something - pay attention!" We love you! N & G xx

Excellent trip!, communication with Operator was easy, pick up on time, great tour guide. André was great explaining every site and every visit, making the drive so enjoyable. Places were not crowded due the day of the week. Lunch was so delicious in Nazaré, and the overall experience was great!

Andre is a natural linguist and a storyteller. He punctually picked us up and explained what to expect. Fatima was an unforgettable experience, even for non-religious, Nazare’s dizzying vistas were spellbinding and Obidos was an experience on it’s own. We had a great time.
