It was an amazing experience filled with history and beauty of each village. The tour guide was very well versed in the history of each village.

We had an unforgettable experience! The private tour exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to be guided by Diogo, who was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. I wish our trip was a bit longer to be able to book other destinations with them.

Great personalized tour of Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Tips: Have a sense of where you want to spend your time. Nazare is a beach town with some great views - not so much to see otherwise, but a good lunch stop. One could spend 1/2 day just at Fatima, especially if you are Catholic. Obidos is cool to see - you could linger there in one of the bars or restaurants, otherwise an hour unless you want to do a lot of shopping. We had Pedro as our guide - he was very courteous and personable!

I highly recommend at trip to Fatima. Video and pictures do not show how impressive it is. We had a great tour guide.

Great experience all around. Manuel was a perfect guide, we learned a lot. He is also a safe and efficient driver, we were comfortable throughout the visit. There was no rush, despite the highly saturated program. We saw more than we expected.

This was our best tour on our vacation. Paula called me via WhatsApp a few minutes prior to our meeting time to let us know that she was at the end of the Gangplank and gave us her description. She was there waiting and immediately escorted us to her vehicle. Our small group was on the road prior to any ship excursion even made it to shore. She was detailed on our full itinerary and timeframes at each location. Our trip to Fatima was fast and fantastic. We got there quickly and managed to see everything before the Ship guided tours arrived. Beating the crowds from the ship made seeing everything quick and easy. She never had to rush us and kept sharing facts and history about the locations we were visiting. I wish I can give her a higher rating here. Keeping our group together was like herding cats at times, but she did it all with a smile. When our tour was completed, she monitored traffic and knew all the roads. She got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. We came to Lisbon looking for a tour guide. We ended up leaving a close Friend behind. We love you Paula and hope to see you again in our future travels to Portugal.

Victor was our driver and guide. He gave us all the time we wanted to pray and tour around Fatima. We went to town with all of our photo opportunity in Batalha, Nazare, and especially Obidos. Even though it was a long day, he was very patient with us and did not rush us at all. He recommended Mosteiro Do Leitao for lunch. Their crispy pork did not disappoint. He even made a list of recommended restaurants by locals in Lisbon for us. He's a safe driver, patient guide, and definitely know his food. The whole trip was seamless.

This was one of three day tours that we did with Bruno/this company. Bruno is very knowledgeable about Portuguese history beyond just the tour locations and we got so much more with his guidance than we would have visiting these sites on our own. His lunch recommendation for this tour was so delicious and he tailored the tour based on our interests. He's a pleasure to chat with on the drives and is a very good driver. We will definitely try to tour with him again when we return to Portugal!

First let me say that our recent trip to Portugal was made even more wonderful because of the tours and airport transfers we experienced with Walkborder. Hugo made the booking process seamless and non stressful. He returned all my emails promptly and answered my many questions with politeness and professionalism. After an overnight flight and a very early arrival in to Lisboa, we were met at the airport by Rodrigo/Rod. We were a family group of 6 members including an 86, 88 and 91 year old and a whole ton of luggage. It was nice to know we didn’t have to worry about splitting up and finding cabs to our hotel. Rod was warm and friendly and even gave us some city highlights and information on our first ride to our hotel. Over the course of our much too short time in Portugal we had booked 2 tours and 2 transfers. Rod was our guide for all which was great. The continuity of having the same guide really made a difference and we felt very comfortable with Rod. We had long days together, but the van was very nice, good sized and seating and visibility were not an issue. Rod did his best to take into account some of our group’s physical limitations and modified the itinerary so that even our older family members could enjoy and experience the sights on the tours. He went out of his way to find close parking, and when walking was too difficult for some he got as close as possible or included different more accessible points of interest so we all could enjoy them together. He was very considerate, kind and patient with all of our questions and understanding of our limitations. His knowledge of all things Portugal and beyond was amazing and we learned so much. Visiting Fatima was a dream of my 91 year old father and he thoroughly enjoyed riding shotgun to Rod for all the tours. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on Rod’s suggestion in Nazare and we had time to walk along the beautiful beach and shops. Obidos was incredible from the ancient walls, and aqueduct to the narrow historic streets. We had time to there explore, take in the history, enjoy the views and shop the local artisans. Rod at each stop would fill us in with the background and history and then we were free to explore. Our whole time and experience with Rod was one we will never forget, and our family can’t thank him enough for making our short stay so memorable. If we are ever lucky enough to make it back to Portugal we would love to do more tours with Rod. Thank you Rod and Hugo!

The tour guide was good and friendly. Our trip would have been complete if we spent more time at least another half an hour, 45 mins at Fatima is not worth it. The mass was going on as it was a Sunday and did not get an opportunity to go into the main church. Lunch was too late at almost 2.30- 3 pm, and restaurants we running out of food.

We made 2 private tours, the tour to Fatima, Obidos and Nazareth, and the tour to Sintra. The guide Diogo accompanied us and was extremely professional, gave us various tips and information about the places visited. The car was nice, comfortable and spacious. Indicate the company.

We are coming back from doing this tour feeling quite disappointed as we have been unlucky to meet a guide (Jose is the name by the way)nothing professional. First of all, he did not speak fluent Spanish and we had a hard time understanding his explanations. It was dry, not pleasant and not helpful. We had to get the information from him at the beginning and in the end we ended up desisting from asking and searching the information online. We really could have done this tour on our own account and now almost 500 euros as it only served as a driver (we went to Lisbon in our own car by the way) and also creating an unpleasant atmosphere in all aspects. Another thing that disappointed me is that in Obidos you are sold the story of typical cherry liquor tastings but you have to pay for it, not as in other tours that offer you typical sweets like in Sintra and Belém. We feel quite conned with this experience and will never book with this company again obviously. A dire experience.

I had three wonderful day trips. When we first visited Sintra, I was amazed by the Queluz Palace and the Sintra Palace. In the second we meet Evora where we saw the Roman temple and the chapel of the bones and we discovered how cork materials are produced. As soon as I closed my travel dates to Lisbon, I searched for some private tours companies, as indication from TripAdvisor, came to Walkborders tours. I immediately contacted and quickly my email was replied by Mr. Hugo. I closed 4 tours with them: Tour Fatima, Nazaré,Batalha and Óbidos; Tour Sintra, Cascais and Estoril, Dinner of Fado is Tour de Lisbon. We won as a courtesy a transfer from the airport which was made by the guide Rodrigo. One of the things I liked most about Enterprise was that the tours were paid during their execution.
