What a wonderful trip. We rode in a comfortable van. Along the way Miguel gave us precious history and personal side notes about all the areas we visited. Fátima was my vision quest and Miguel was incredibly respectful of my mission. He added insights, flavor and humor with his stories. It was a full day on a beautiful sunny April. We could not have ask for better weather and guides. The personal touch made it a true gift and his friendship on this day will be a forever memory. We finished this tour today. We had no expectations. João was super polite, courteous, knowledgeable, responsible, and funny! I was amazed that we could go to so many incredible places in just one day, as well as cover so much distance. We went like halfway up the country. Starting in Fatima was incredible, after Batalhe was awesome. João provided so much good info. At Nazare, he recommended an awesome restaurant and we were able to go briefly to the coolest beach. Finally, we went to a historic place called Obidos, toasted to Ginginha. Again, João gave so much interesting history and insight. It was a cool stop. Then we went back to Lisboa by like 5 or so and still had a lot of time for the evening. I was surprised we were able to do so much. João provided awesome recommendations. I highly recommend this tour especially if you don’t have too much time in Portugal. You get to see so much and learn so much about the history and culture while having fun. Thank you so much!
Our driver Miguel was excellent. Very knowledgeable, caring, efficient and well organized. However, the company car had some issues with worn tires due to camber issues as well as a crack in the windshield. Supposedly the car was slated to go the shop the next day. Also, even though Miguel tried his best at shouting the information, for me sitting in the very rear bench it was at times difficult to understand him due to road noise. The return point was not the same as the pick-up point, but close to a metro station. While we knew this information ahead of booking, it was felt that the organization could have made the effort to drive one kilometer more to drop us off closer to the center of the town, preferably at the pick-up point again, because we could have easily walked to the hotel again. But all the car and organizational issues are outside the influence of the driver. I would go with Miguel on a trip again immediately. No questions asked.

Recommended experience if you want to visit several places in a single day, but without much time to be there. We made an amazing tour from Lisbon with the Inês Marques guide, and it was just perfect from start to finish! Inês is extremely friendly, attentive and dominates every historical and cultural detail of the places we pass. We visit Fatima, a place of faith and emotion, we head to the Battle Monastery, a true masterpiece of Gothic architecture, then we enchant the medieval streets of Óbidos and end the day with the stunning view of Nazareth, with its imposing and energetic sea. Everything was very well organized, with the ideal time at each stop, engaging explanations and various curiosities that made the day even more special. Without a doubt, an experience that I recommend to everyone who wishes to know the best of Portugal with someone who loves what he does!
