Amazing experience with our guide INES. She was very accommodating to our family (2 girls 10 and 11 years old). She walked us sharing knowledge and at our pace. Stopping as necessary. And… there is a surprise in the tour. A memorable one. Take it, and find out!

Itinerary
Bairro Alto is a picturesque quarter dating from the 1500s, that has traditionally been the city's bohemian haunt of artists and writers.
This is Lisbon's main square, and it sits on the old sight of the royal palace before it was destroyed by the 1755 earthquake.
The church space was originally a shrine dedicated to St. Sebastian. Later on, it housed artifacts in memory of São Roque. He became a saint thanks to his work in healing victims of the plague that raged through Europe.

Antonio gave us such a lovely tour! Answered all our questions and it was mostly downhill! I would recommend the tour!!
We highly recommend the Family Friendly Lisbon Private City Tour with Jorge. He met us right on time at the designated meeting spot and spent more time with us than the 3 hours allotted. He knew the best spots for photos, was full of knowledge and answered all of our 9 year old’s questions. He brought us to the best gelato spot which we returned to the next day as well. Lisbon is very hilly so you need to wear good walking shoes, although at one point he suggested we take a bus up hill to the castle, which my husband thought was an excellent idea!
Jorge was a wonderful guide for our walking tour of Lisbon with two kids under 4! He was so great with the kids and even won over our sometimes-timid 3.5 year old. We were able to move at our toddler pace while still seeing so much of Lisbon and he even helped us with the stroller at times throughout the tour. We would absolutely recommend booking this walking tour
We had a great tour of the city with Sonia. We learnt a lot and had a great time. Sonia was very knowledgeable and was very easy going. We did the tour with our 7yr old. It took about 3 hours which was perfect for us.
João was a fantastic tour guide! We had a leisurely stroll through several neighborhoods and learned a lot about the history of Lisbon and Portugal. Our kids (ages 7 and 9) had fun too, especially when we stopped for pastel de nata. Will definitely book another tour with João on our next trip to Lisbon!
Our guide Monica was such a nice person. It was very easy to find her as she sent me her pic right before the tour. It was a great surprise to us, that our tour turned into a Harry Potter themed tour. Our kids had so many questions related to Harry Potter and she had all the answers. When we got home then of course our kids wanted to see all the movies again and they recognised so many connections to Porto. Thank you very much for this inspirational tour to our family!
Unfortunately the tour was cancelled at the last minute by the service provider, due to personal reasons. Luckily we got our money back fast.
Lucia (Lucy?) was terrific with our 11 year-old. We'd just arrived a few hours earlier, and our daughter was exhausted. Lucia kept us moving and engaged, stopped when necessary, and shared her wonderful knowledge, positivity, and sense of humor with us. It was like being introduced to Lisbon by a family member.
We did a family tour with Ângelo André today (16.2). It was an amazing experience for all of us, despite doing it with two teenagers (and a 7 years old girl). Ângelo took the time, was flexible for our needs, he truly is a professional with passion and enthusiasm, and so much to share and teach. We received great and detailed explanations about Lisbon, lots of tips for the rest of our stay in Portugal for restaurants, activities in much more. This tour has made our trip and is unforgettable. It’s been a long time since I last received such an incredible service, worth every penny!!!
Angelo was so great ! We have two toddler and we enjoyed and had a wonderful time exploring Lisbon and knowing the history. We recomend this tour with Angelo.
Guide was very knowledgeable about the area and great with my 10 year old. Walk was moderate and good speed and distance for kids. Was a great way to be introduced to the city in not too long of a tour
In Lisbon for just a short time. As son had work in Porto. Our guide Carlos, welcomed the opportunity to tour a 2yo, his mama and me the 60+yo grandma. What was great was it was our private time with a fun and knowledgeable expert who cared that we learned and loved Lisbon. Added bonus..Carlos pushed the stroller a lot😍. He knew the quiet streets and it was a fantastic afternoon!
I can not say enough great things about Ines. She was in communication after the booking and before the tour, which made it easy to know exactly where to go to meet with her. She was personable and seemed genuinely interested in making sure the tour met our needs. She kept the pace just right to be able to learn, explore, and take photos. . . Highly recommend using Ines and if we are ever in the area again, we will surely book with her.
What a fantastic experience! From the first minute it felt so relaxed. Bruno is such a nice guy and a great storyteller. And he has so much knowledge about the city and its history. I believe it's the best way to really get to know Lisbon and to have a wonderful time exploring the hidden gems. And it is amazing to see the city without crowds of tourists. The tour was a mix of beautiful highlights, super charming little streets, fantastic views and a lot of fun! I can highly recommend Bruno; he will make your trip much more interesting. His warm and personal approach made me feel as if I was touring around with a friend. We also kept in touch after the tour and he gave me tons of tips to explore on my own. Please don't be afraid to visit Lisbon (or Portugal); everybody is respecting the safety regulations and you can really discover the city in such a peaceful way. Thanks again Bruno and hope to see you again!
I really was just looking for a quick introduction to Lisbon with a knowledgeable personable local. Bruno was all that and so much more. We enjoyed our time with Bruno so much we decided to prolong it. He wasn't just awesome to be around but super knowledgeable about the history of the city and the country. Any question we had, he had the answer! He knew we weren't "regular tourists" and rather world travelers who preferred off the beaten track and less touristy places. I can't begin to explain just how much he got us and enriched this entire trip for us. We've had plenty of tour guides all over the world, and Bruno with always stand out for us. Thanks Bruno!!!
We did Bruno's hidden gems tour of Lisbon in 2018 and it was exactly what we were hoping for. He is very knowledgable of the city's history and took us to some great places to showcase this. He also gave us a local's opinion of places to visit and eat, which were spot on! I would highly recommend Bruno for a tour!
Bruno knows quite a lot about Lisbon and its secret. We experienced a wonderful tour and got to know Lisbon a lot better. Thank you Bruno
We had a great day with Bruno in May 2019 before the pandemic — adorable, knowledgeable and patient. He was flexible and accommodated our individual needs. The highlight is the day was lunch at a most delicious restaurant right on the water. I highly recommend Bruno.
Bruno was a super guide! He gave us s lot of background (historic) information which made the sights even more interesting.
Arthur was the BEST! Full of great information, totally customized the tour to our interests and gave us plenty of insider tips to make our overall stay even better. He has a great personality and really made our day! (actual tour was 5-years ago, but we STILL stay in touch with Arthur to this day!!)
This was one of the best decisions I took. Bruno was flexible, accommodating and really knowledgeable on history. It was a great way to get to know Lisbon, see the real markets where people actually shop and eat, the gardens where they spend their free time and to get a real feel for the city. Loved it. Disclaimer: this trip was pre-Covid. The website doesn’t allow you to go before 2020.
I had an incredible day with Bruno. He took me to places I never would have found on my own that really fit my interests, including some incredible food, wine, architecture, art and design in the local neighborhoods. He's very knowlegdable about Lisbon's history and is great company. 5 starsis not enough. Muito abrigado!
Wonderful morning with Bruno in Lisbon on Sunday 27th August. Informative, witty, good company and an informative guide. We enjoyed the tour immensely and were pleased to be guided by Bruno. The trip was pre-covid times and in August 2019.
Ana knows so much about the city, the history, the people, some beautiful stores, where to have a coffee break and the short cuts. It was really a pleasure to walk with her. Thank you Ana for your time and tour, I really enjoyed it.
We loved meandering the neighborhoods of Lisbon with friendly & knowledgeable Ines at our side. Her energy and passion for her city shone through in all the descriptions and information she gave us along the way. Ines was flexible and responsive and easily adapted our tour to include some delicious food stops along the way! She was thoughtful and considerate of the needs of my aging parents and it was a true pleasure to spend time with her. Thank-you, Ines for sharing your beautiful city with us! (Note: Travelled in November 2019)
Ines had a detailed knowledge of Lisbon and was able to explain aspects of its history that we had not fully understood, including events during World War 2. She pointed out important landmarks and their relevance and suggested do's and don'ts in terms of further visits. We enjoyed a pleasant trip finishing with a splendid lunch at a restaurant that she recommended.
Apart from the fact that Luis is a very nice, sociable, sympathetic and nice person - he has made a lot of effort. He speaks perfect German and can present interesting facts. We always had the feeling of strolling through Lisbon with a good friend and getting to know the city and the country. Luis was able to answer questions competently. We couldn't have found a better guide.
We had a guided tour in Lisbon in June 2019. We had a varied, entertaining and informative tour with Luis, our friendly and empathetic guide. He loves his city, but is also critical. He was able to answer all our questions. We had the feeling to walk through Lisbon with a friend. Time passed in a flash. The small culinary conclusion was very authentic. His German is perfect.
We learned a lot in a such a short time. Not only about Lissabon but also how it is to live in Portugal. She shows us places we find by ourselves. She is verry frendly and kind. She is THE best. It was a great tour and experience. Don’t mis it
Very satisfied about our tour with Ana ! Very kind, very good knowledge about the city, recommended !
We met Ana for a family tour of Lisbon at a beautiful spot overlooking the city. We spent a few minutes introducing ourselves, then proceeded to join Ana on a tour of the city which she so obviously loves. We were captivated and intrigued by her viewpoints - her passion for Lisbon culture and history helped to tell the story of this wonderful city. She was patient with our little ones, and took the time to acknowledge their observations. Three hours went by quickly and was time very well spent.
Our tour with Ana was lovely. We saw nice things, she knew the history and had a good sense of humour. We got a good impression of Lisbon and some good ideas for the rest of our stay. Thank you Ana, the quickstart was perfect!
We had a great time with Ana, she was really knowledgeable and was really helpful in telling us other places we should go to. The end destination of LXFactory was the highlight! - September 2019
Our tour with Luci was the first thing we did after arriving in Lisbon, after checking into our AirBnB. We had a group of 13, three families traveling together, with children ranging from 10-15. The tour was a wonderful overview of the city including lots of history that we were learning about for the first time. Lucia answered all our questions and led us to many sites that we would not have sought out on our own. We ended our tour with Luci popping into a restaurant and making a reservation for us, which turned out to be our best meal of the trip. She also answered a couple of other questions I had after the tour when I messaged her. I would highly recommend Lucia for your tour around Lisbon!!
Isabel was awesome! She adapted the tour for me and my family with a 1yo and when the rain came, we visited and learned about churches around us while waiting for the weather to get better. We learned the history and visited the best spots from Lisbon with the best tour guide. Isabel is fun and we felt very confortable with her.
My family and I did the Hidden Gems tour with Henrique and it was superb. He really did show us the hidden gems of Lisbon with a leisurely tour of the city's back streets and cultural hotspots. Henrique is a real history expert which added so much to the experience, and he could not be more helpful in recommending places to visit and things to do in the surrounding area. If you want to find out about Lisbon's intriguing history and see the city from a local perspective, then Henrique is your man! Thanks also for the pastel de nata recommendation which made our week!
We had Antonio for our tour and he was excellent. He kept our family engaged, including our 13 and 10 year old boys. My 10 year old went from “I’m NOT going on a 3 hour walking tour” to having it be a highlight of his trip! Antonio was friendly, knowledgeable and a genuinely good person with a desire to share his beautiful city with other families. Thanks for a great introduction to Lisbon!
Ana was absolutely brilliant. She took care to design a tour that was perfect for a young family (my children are 5 and 3). We wanted to take in the key highlights, but she made sure there were enough breaks for the little ones. Our little one, usually shy when meeting new people took to her immediately- infact she was more like a friend showing the city than a tour guide. Thank you Ana for making it a lovely trip for us.
We met Isabel for our tour on our first day in Portugal, and it was the perfect way to begin our holiday. Isabel is friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions about Lisbon with a smile. She also gave us helpful tips on getting around for the remainder of our visit. The tour was paced perfectly for us, and she took into account that my 8yr old was jet-lagged and not his usual energetic self. We learned so much about the city, and the tour really set us up to enjoy the rest of our time by giving us the background we needed to understand and appreciate everything the city has to offer. We would definitely take another tour with Isabel, and have already recommended her to a friend who is visiting Lisbon later this summer! Thank you Isabel!
We went on a private tour with Rita and we have two small kids. She is an exceptional guide with a great knowledge of the city. She is laid back and works with you to get the most out of your tour. Very very patient and helpful with kids! I would recommend her to anyone with a family visiting Lisbon. Also, gave us great advice and tips about places to eat and visit.
All positive reviews about David are accurate! He was very friendly and spoke the German language perfectly. Through him we got surprising impressions of Lisbon that we never with hop on hop off. Particularly impressive were we of the two churches he showed us, which from the outside seemed inconspicuous and thrilled us on entry. To this he led us to fantastic viewpoints and \u00E4told us a lot about Living in Portugal. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone.
