This tour was fantastic! Rodrigo is a great guide & truly cares making the experience fun, comfortable & safe for everyone. Some parts of the trails were a bit strenuous, but the views were so worth it! Would definitely recommend this experience!

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! It was the best tour we did on our 10-day trip. The tour was exactly as described. Rodrigo was helpful, informative, and flexible. With e-bikes, you get as much of a workout as you’d like, and Rodrigo helps make sure the fit/mechanics are perfect and ensures that you stay hydrated throughout! The scenery is (obviously) gorgeous, and we appreciated being on paths/routes that we would never have been able to find on our own! While you certainly don’t need to be an adventurous biker to enjoy this activity (we aren’t!), I do think it would be a challenge for a particularly nervous/uncertain biker, since there are some significant hills and moderate uneven terrain. Rodrigo always made sure we were 100% safe. Again, highly recommend!!

Our bike tour with Rodrigo was excellent! He communicated well prior to the excursion. Rodrigo adapted the tour to the two of us because we had biking experience, souvenir shopping desire and were the only ones biking that day. Rodrigo was punctual in picking us up from our hotel, personable and shared lots of information about Lisbon and Cascais. We definitely will encourage our friends to book with him and we will as well when we return to the area.

Over some years of traveling, we’ve participated in many tours that were “knock our socks off” great. I think our e-bike tour with Júliano has set a new standard that will be hard to beat. The trip went off exactly as described, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to spend the day this way. It’s a GREAT way to get off the beaten path, get some exercise, and learn more about the geography/layout of the area. Would do this again in a heartbeat. We were picked up on time at our Lisbon hotel by Rodrigo and driven to our starting point in downtown Cascais to meet the rest of our cycling group. Júliano was leading that day’s ride and we were soon making our way out of town on the Trilho das Vinhas through a beautiful and fascinating countryside.The pace was steady, yet we kept moving because we had a lot of ground to cover (There was a stop for water/info at a facility about an hour into the ride.) - through Sintra Forest up to the top of the mountain for a couple of amazing viewpoints looking over Lisbon and the Atlantic. Then downhill to the beach for lunch (delicious, fresh options) before completing the 22 mile circuit back to Cascais (mileage as per Apple Watch- so don’t hold me to it.) The tour ended where it began - at the Cascais train station, where we could easily get a ticket and ride back to Lisbon. The e-bikes are great. You still have to peddle, but you have levels of assist. Most of the day was at a lower level (could have done without, but… why?) On the mountain climbs, I couldn’t have done it without the assist, but I guess that’s the beauty of e-bikes. My husband is ready to go e-bike shopping- so maybe that’s as good a testament as any?

My son and I had a wonderful adventure around Cascais and enjoyed having Pedro as our guide. It was a lot more legwork than I was expecting, even with an E bike, but I really appreciated the workout when we were going uphill. All of the views were spectacular, so I highly recommend this tour for those who enjoy a more active exploration of that area of Portugal.

We (family of 4) had so much fun on this ride! Juliano was very knowledgeable of the area and attentive at all times. We met him at the beach and immediately got riding, no time wasted on this tour! Saw many, many scenic views, especially at the top of the mountain. Stopped for lunch at a beachside cafe that was beautiful with great food (always buy your guide lunch if possible). 10/10 would recommend, and if you want a work out, you can avoid turbo mode.

We absolutely loved this adventure. Our guide ( Julian I think that's correct spelling) was great!!!! He showed us the beauty of CasCais Portugal and then we rode into the mountains of the Cascais and Sintra Forest. Stunning views. We then transition down the mountains through small villages and ended up on the coastline and had lunch at a great little restaurant overlooking the ocean in beaches. The final ride into town was great as you transitioned along the ocean.. if you can ride a bike, I highly advise you to try this e-bike tour.. One of the highlights of our trip

Rodrigo took amazing care of us and showed us the beautiful sites of the area. Despite the recent storms Rodrigo made sure we were on a safe route. The lunch stop had amazing views. We enjoyed Rodrigo’s informative tour and I plan to book this again when I return to Portugal in the future.

What a fantastic experience! My teenage boys and I loved our day out with our guide Juliano. The national park and coastline are peaceful and beautiful. This was a fantastic way to spend a day in Lisbon! Our bike tour began and ended in Cascais, taking us through Sintra and along the stunning coastline, where we stopped for a delicious seaside lunch at a beach café. Our small group of five, plus our guide, made the experience feel personal and relaxed. Be prepared for some uphill riding, though the e-bikes make it manageable since you can adjust the level of pedal assist to match your comfort. Some sections of the route are on bumpy, gravelly roads, so it may not be the best option if you have joint or muscle concerns. Our guide, Juliano, was outstanding—fluent in English, knowledgeable about the history and culture of the areas we explored, and an all-around great leader. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to combine adventure, scenery, and history into an unforgettable experience.

This bike trip was the highlight of our trip. The e-bikes made the challenging stretches easy. The route was incredible, a beautiful ride thru the National park and an incredible ride up the coast. I would highly recommend it for anyone who likes to be active while seeing the sites.

A thorough and beautiful tour! Rodrigo took such good care of the participants and curated a fantastic experience. We saw Pena Palace from the Sintra National Park and went to nearly the Westernmost point in mainland Europe! This trip is suitable for beginner bike riders as well as experienced ones as Rodrigo is looking out for everyone!

This is experience did not feel like a tour. It felt as though we were visiting our friend in Portugal who wanted us to have an amazing experience. Rodrigo was saint-like answering my MANY texts about the weather and if we should cancel or not. For context, there was unprecedented rain and winds and even a small tornado in Portugal while we were there. There were many occasions when our path was blocked by downed trees or crew doing cleanup after the storm. you will see everything from bustling seaside town, beautiful farm and garden lands, as well as sand dunes and the Atlantic in full force That didn't stop our intrepid group. Rodrigo was great at navigating around obstacles and ensuring that we were safe and enjoyed our time. We did not get to go to Sintra because of the weather and other factors, but Rodrigo brought us a special treat to sample from one of the famous bakeries there, My 13 year old who is usually picky ate three! When we travel, we always do a bike tour as it is a great way to experience a new locale. My 16 year old who "hates everything" loved the ride and stated it was their favorite bike tour to date.We definitely rode at a good clip( we were trying to beat the rain) and the small group size made it easy to stay together. I would not hesitate to.book again with Rodrigo when we return to Portugal

Can't rate Rodrigo highly enough! Very accomodating when my bus to the meeting point was cancelled making me late and then I even ended up with a private tour because no one else had booked for that day. Knowledgeable about all the questions I had along the way and great for a chat when we had our lunch on the way back down. Highlight of my trip to Portugal! 👍👍

Thank you Rodigo for a fun and memorable highlight of our short time in Portugal! His thoughtful route with all terrains and spectacular views won over both our 14 and 11 year olds. You can get super active on this ride or hit Turbo mode when you want to cruise. The lunch venue was lush - we wouldn’t have found it on our own. Rodrigo also took great footage and compiled a little reel which I thought was so above and beyond. The girls are begging us to book another route with Rodrigo before we go. Such a fun day.

Let me just add to the chorus praising Rodrigo and this fantastic bike trip! Just do yourself a favor and go. He's great, the bikes are great, and the sights are great (make sure you go to the monastery for the super view). Guincho beach for lunch was a perfect lunch spot. We're self-described "active seniors" aged 63 and 66 and it wasn't a tough ride but was challenging just enough to break a good sweat. A perfect day with a great guide, muito obrigado Rodrigo!

Small Business Owner and tour guide Rodrigo is super knowledgeable and really knows the ins and outs of the area. We had very high winds forecasted for that day, so we took our group to a safe but still breathtaking viewing point that is nowhere on the map. If you are comfortable biking trails, this is an adventure you must not miss. I am hoping to return with my friends to Portugal one day and take another one of Rodrigo’s bespoke tour from Lisbon to Nazareth. See you then!

Such a beautiful bike ride. The help of riding an e-bike made this very comfortable and not difficult at all. Rodrigo is an amazing guide and he will take you to some wonderful viewpoints along the way. I just wish I had more time to spend in Cascais after getting a glimpse of it during the tour. Rodrigo was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable of the history of the bike trail and general area. Great lunch spot and beautiful views. The area is hilly but the e-bikes were the way to do the experience and still get some exercise. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this gorgeous ride with Rodrigo! He’s so knowledgeable, welcoming, and supportive. Our 9-year-old had some moments when she was challenged on the ride and his coaching & support for her was pitch-perfect, building her confidence as he helped her through the tougher spots. And the scenery! From the ornate castles of Sintra, over the mountain covered in pine woods, through gorgeous fields of flowers - it was just delightful at every turn. We can’t wait to go back & recommend this trip very highly!

The bike ride itself was fantastic. The scenery was beautiful and we love to bike in any place we go. The only downside of it was the transportation back. We felt like we were dropped off and told what to do to get back. That was somewhat disappointing.

This was definitely one of the top highlights of our 10 day family trip to Portugal. Rodrigo was an amazing tour guide, the scenery from Sintra to Cascais was unbelievable and the bikes were a blast. It was so wonderful to be in nature and experience the unique landscape offered by the trails. We ended the trip entering Cascais as the sunset and enjoyed the amazing Christmas lights. This was the best way to escape the city for a day!! We biked through so many landscapes: rolling hills, farms, forests, and coastline. The tour was thoughtful and well-planned--we'd go again!
