I would have given 6 or more stars if possible! Daniela was marvelous. We booked this on our own while on a Viking Douro River cruise pre-Lisbon trip, and it was a tremendous experience. Daniela reached out to us the day before to confirm our pick-up and last minute details. We confirmed ability to attend Mass and be back at the hotel in time for the pre-cruise briefing (no problem). On time pick-up (8AM @ Hotel Corinthia, Mercedes van, water on board. We are devout Catholics, and so is she, yet she adapted well to what we already knew and what we didn't. Hot day, and we moved at a reasonable pace. VIsited all the key sites, with plenty of explanation, and time for photos, rest room breaks and the inevitable souvenir shopping (easier w/ only two of us vs. a busload!) Great restaurant choice for lunch (on our own). Would recommend this again to anyone!

This the most amazing experience we have ever had! As a Catholic, to be at the sites where our lady appeared, was indescribable. Daniela was so knowledgeable & explained everything with such detail that I understood the importance of the site. She was so flexible & asked us what we wanted to do. We were able to pray attend mass & a rosary at the sanctuary. It was a beautiful tour & I highly recommend it. Afterwards we stopped for lunch & she had good recommendation on where to eat there in Fatima before heading back to Lisbon.

Flavio was excellent. Very knowledgeable able not only Fatima but the Portuguese culture. This was a lot cheaper than the tour offered by our tour group. He allowed for individual bathroom stops and provided plenty of water. He had good lunch recommendation.

We had great tours with Viator in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, but the greatest of the greatest was the day tour to Fatima with Daniela. Daniela is an extraordinary guide and a wonderful person. She knows all the facts, and dates of the Fatima events in the most minute details. Daniela reviewed with us the entire chronological sequence of historical events from 1915 during the 90’ drive so that we would be ready for the on-site experience at Fatima. She saved us time, avoided crowds, parked conveniently, found the smartest way to make all our wishes happen. She is an excellent driver and has an exquisite taste for selecting restaurants. Flavio was a terrific tour guide. He took my mother and Aunt to Fatima and they could not speak anymore highly of him. My mother was having a hard time walking and he helped her with her wheelchair while explaining all the sites. He also sent back detailed pictures to me of their experience. His kindness was extraordinary and I can’t thank him enough. Prago! Flavio!

From the start, Flavio ensured that we never felt rushed. He gave us plenty of time to browse the gift shop on our way to Fatima, which we greatly appreciated. Once we arrived in Fatima, he shared his knowledge of the site and patiently answered all of our questions. One of the highlights of our visit was Flavio arranging for us to meet a priest he knew, who kindly blessed our religious items. This thoughtful gesture made our experience even more meaningful. He also made sure we had the opportunity to attend a full one-hour Mass without feeling pressured for time. In addition, Flavio took us to an excellent local restaurant where residents dine, allowing us to enjoy an authentic meal away from the crowds of tour bus tourists. Our visit to Fatima was truly exceptional, and much of that was thanks to Flavio's care, expertise, and attention to detail. We are sincerely grateful for this memorable experience and highly recommend him as a guide.

We knew we were in for a good time when we met Daniela in the lobby of our hotel! We immediately connected with her intellect and humor. As soon as we got into the mini van, she began helping us understand the history behind the Fatima apparitions. Being a devout Catholic, she was able to explain everything we were about to see and experience in exquisite detail over the 90 minute drive. Upon our arrival, we walked through the town where the children were born and experienced their lives through her knowledge of the town, their homes, families, and customs. We then proceeded to the Shrine where Daniela once again provided amazing detail and clarity around what we were witnessing. One thing we really loved was the opportunity to have private time to contemplate and pray at various stops along the way and it really helped internalize the experience. We attended mass at 3:30 PM to finish off the tour and it was a wonderful bookend to a beautiful day. This full day experience covered the details of the Blessed Mother’s visit to the 3 children in Fatima. We visited the homes of the children, walked the Way of the Cross, visited the shrine and attended a Mass in English,. Our private day tour with Danielle was simply divine. We stepped back in time to when the angel first appeared to the 3 little shepherd children in 1916, and followed their footsteps to where they received the apparitions in 1917. She was delightful and we enjoyed our conversation on the way to Fatima. She is very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning things that we didn’t know about the Blessed Mother and Fatima. She suggested we do our shopping first so that we could have our items blessed during the mass. That was a great idea and we really appreciated getting that out of the way first. We booked this trip 3 months in advance. When you book in a foreign country you do not know what to expect, but our experience was wonderful. Daniela, our tour guide, texted me on What’s App the night before we were going. I appreciated that text message as I knew she was coming the next day. She texted me in the morning letting me know her arrival time. She arrived on time, driving a clean and comfortable luxury car. In Fatima, she took us to all the important apparition sites and the village where the children lived. We tour the cathedral and walked around the plaza. She gave us free time to attend a rosary and mass in the Apparition Chapel. We lite a candle afterwards and visited the new church. Daniela took us to a local restaurant where we had a late lunch and then headed back to Lisbon. Daniela spoke excellent English and was very pleasant. I highly recommend this trip and company as the whole process was easy and dependable. Thanks to Daniela for making our trip memorable.

The full Tour of Fatima is the best way to immerse with a guide. Ours, Daniela was the best. She took us to where the 3 children were born, where their story of the appartions of Fatima began. We followed through their lives in their village and at The shrine and plaza where Mary appeared and where all 3 were buried. Such a complete package everyone should take advantage of this opportunity. We went to lunch where the locals eat in Fatima and it was amazing. Daniela was our guide and took such good care of us. She new our food needs are vegan but also knew this local restaurant would cook us an unforgettable meal. If you travel to Lisbon go with Daniela to Fatima. She will make your trip well worth it.

Flavio was the absolute BEST tour guide! Being a practicing Catholic himself he knew so much about the religious significance of each stop of the tour. We had age 76 to 11 and were a group of 6. Flavio had facts for all ages and could talk and make the tour fun for everyone! We had lunch at a local restaurant that no one spoke English that felt like an excursion on its own! Delicious food, and such a wonderful opportunity to eat with the locals. He was a wonderful driver, in a nice van that comfortably sat our group of 6. Even the drive to Fatima was beautiful and Flavio knew so much about the countryside and the history. I can’t imagine doing Fatima without a guide, the sites are spread apart and many areas have no English. He knew when the English Mass was, and made sure we were there and prepared. It was an amazing, religiously moving, wonderful part of our vacation made possible by Flavio!

What an amazing history lesson about the time, the village, the children and the transformation of this little town. Since we stayed in Fatima after the tour, she gave us advice for the night vigil, attending masses and recommendations for places to eat. If you would rather delve deep into the Fatima experience rather than skim the surface of multiple sites in one day, this is the tour for you. The tour was personalized and left time to reflect, both in the village and at the shrine. Our lunch was at a local restaurant and was delicious. I highly recommend this choice.

If I could give more stars, I would! Daniella held my hand from Kansas City to Ireland and to the beach near Lisbon as I navigated a complex (for me) pick up from a beach town outside the city. Then she took us through the lives and histories of the children. She gave their personalities character and made them very real. She settled us at Mass in time for front row seats and time to pray at the grotto. They we had lunch in a family run local restaurant. I expected a tourist day and got a real, spirit filled gift. Daniela's storytelling was so rich and vivid I felt like I was following in the footsteps of the 3 shepherd children. We were able to stop and purchase rosary beeds and had them blessed during the English-speaking Mass at the Chapel of the Apparations. We had a wonderful lunch break to rest a bit and fuel up for the afternoon. Fatima is such a sacred place. Our walk along the Stations of the Cross indeed felt like I was strolling on hallowed ground. The sanctuary is beautiful and the Mass at the simple chapel that Mary wanted was the icing on the cake. We were weary by day's end but our hearts were full. The vehicle was so comfortable for the 90 minute drive to Fatima. We had water to drink as we drove past farms along the way. When the weather changed as we arrived at the village but Daniela had umbrellas to keep is dry as we toured the humble homes. Fatima was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see and Daniella brought the story of the apparitions to life for us. It was especially moving for me as I am a retired clergyman in the Baptist tradition and the apparition story was new to be, but I will not soon forget this experience. And at day's end, we were dropped off safely at our hotel's doorstep where our journey began. Now it's time for a birthday dinner for my wife, Judy.
