Itinerary
Experience Lisbon with this tour that masterfully intertwines local gastronomy and a sunset sailboat journey. A truly unforgettable evening awaits you.
Your adventure starts in the picturesque Alfama district, Lisbon's oldest neighborhood, renowned for its narrow, winding streets and rich history. Accompanied by an expert local guide, you will delve into this maze of cobblestone alleyways, each corner revealing a new culinary delight or a tale from the past. Your first stop will be an authentic local tavern, where you'll sample a variety of Portuguese tapas. Relish the flavors of dishes such as Bacalhau a Bras, a traditional Portuguese dish made with shredded cod, onions, and thinly chopped fried potatoes, garnished with parsley and topped with olives. Try the famous sardinhas assadas, grilled sardines, a staple of Portuguese cuisine and especially popular during the festival of St. Anthony in June.
As the sun begins to descend, casting a golden glow across the city, aboard an elegant sailboat. With a glass of the finest Portuguese wine in hand, you'll embark on a tranquil journey along the waters of the Tagus River. Witness the city's landmarks, such as the Belem Tower, marvel at the panoramic views of the city and feel the breeze of the sea.

Roy (Rui) was super sweet and filled us in on the history without overdoing it. He guided us on a walking tour that ended with a great tapas meal with wine. Ended on sunset cruise. We enjoyed the time with him….was a great evening activity
Rui was the best guide. So knowledgeable, hospitable and funny. We learned so much about Lisbon, ate delicious food and had many great laughs. The sunset cruise was a wonderful end to a great tour. I highly recommend Rui and this tour.
We really enjoyed this today! Our tour guide, Rui, was amazing! Very personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
Ruy was a fantastic tour guide! Very knowledgeable, articulate, funny, a wealth of information! We had a wonderful tour with tapas, wine and a great time!
Roy was great and knows a lot. We learned so much about the city and country. The guide told great jokes and the food was wonderful
Very smooth tour. Doesn’t push anything on you and you can just walk the streets and look. Nice details. Passionate about the architecture. Rui was amazing
The walking tour took us around some of the hidden delights of Alfama. Our guide, Francisco, was knowledgeable and able to explain the impact of events like the 1755 earthquake, as well as introducing us to the street lifts and local architectural features. The walking tour culminated in a range of locally produced tasting dishes and a very pleasant glass of wine. The sunset sailing tour was similarly pleasant, with a good amount of time on board and plenty of refreshments served.
The tour was amazing, our guide Paulo Carmo was simply outstanding, knowledgeable, friendly, kind and so passionate about the history of the area and of his country, Portugal. We recommend him hands down!!
This was a crazy and wonderful tour. Our guide, Rui was awesome! This tour started as a walking history tour, then we sat in a beautiful little restaurant for the food tour and after that, it turned into a sunset cruise on a beautiful "traditional boat." They kept coming around to fill our wine glasses! What a party. LOL. This overall experience was truly unexpected and way beyond our expectations.
Paulo was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the history of the city and portugal. We had a great time on the walking tour and the boat ride! The food was also excellent.
We had Rui as our guide and he was an absolute delight. Filled with knowledge and energy. He showed us parts of Lisbon that we didn’t know about. Highly recommend!!!
Great:) saw so many new things and tried new foods. Tour guide was awesome! I had never been to Portugal, but now I have seen the historic and new things it has to offer!
Jorge was AMAZING! My family and I had the best time. We went to a Tapas bar where everyone was so kind, and the food was great! I’m so impressed and would love to go again!
I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Lisbon, eat great food and like boating. The walking tour and the historical information Francisco shared with us was great. The tapas were so delicious and authentically Portuguese. The sunset boat tour was a perfect cherry on top of a fantastic afternoon. This was worth every penny and if you are lucky enough to get Francisco you are in for a great time!
Will you, specifically Francisco, was an incredible papa city tour. Town of Alfama is an amazing small town in Portugal that we got to see intimately with our tour guide. Francisco was sensitive, smart and very, very high knowledge of Portugal’s history and culture. I would recommend this tour, but specifically with Francisco, all day every day! Enjoy
We loved the tour of Lisbon. It was great to hear about the deep history of the city and personal experiences from our guide. The tapas were great, and we had lesson on the history of the food and its origins. To finish off, sailing around the history was scenic and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this experience. It is a great value and a wonderful time.
Super accommodating and lovely experience! We had a small emergency and he was able to work around it and provided us a fun tour regardless!
Rui was really great! We had a really great time. We went on a walk around the city and learnt a lot. The tapas place (muralhae) was great. Definitely recommend it!
Amazing tour. Francisco was great from start to finish. Felt like a good friend by the end. If there’s one tour to do in Lisbon this is the one.
Amazing experience and fun way to see Lisbon. Ask for Francisco as your tour guide as like a great waiter at a restaurant the experience will be much more memorable.
Had a very informational and fun tour of Lisbon with Rui. Would highly recommend! Saw parts of Lisbon that I hadn’t seen before and learned a lot about the history and culture.
Pedro was an excellent tour guide. But be advised, you’ll only visit one tapas place at the end of the tour, that was excellent!
Paulo Carmo was an excellent guide. He showed us and enchanted us about Lisbon and its origins. We love the guided tour and recommend it.
A great excursion in Alfama which allowed us to taste tapas! In a hidden restaurant away from tourists! Thank you Rui for your explanations and your good humor as well as your efforts to speak in French!
