It was a great experience with Bruno as guide. Do it, you won’t regret it. You will be able to see the entire city in 3hours. The gave us time to buy things in a couple of spots.

Itinerary
Parque Eduardo VII is the largest park in central Lisbon. It has a formal garden design, and offers sweeping views over Praça Marquês do Pombal, Avenida da Liberdade and the River Tejo.
The Marquis of Pombal Square (Portuguese: Praça do Marquês de Pombal) is an important roundabout in the city of Lisbon. It is located between the Avenida da Liberdade (Liberty Avenue) and the Eduardo VII Park.
The heart of the city and the main shopping and banking district, completely rebuilt after the Great Earthquake of 1755, with elegant squares, pedestrianized streets, cafes, and shops.
"Avenue of Liberty" Lisbon's main boulevard. Proximity to the prestigious locations and institutions, like the Chiado district, Marquis of Pombal Square, Queen Maria II National Theatre, Eduardo VII Park, the Lisbon Baixa, and numerous others. If you like shopping at expensive designer stores, then the Avenue of Liberty is where you need to go.
The Chiado is located between the neighbourhoods of Bairro Alto and Baixa Pombalina. It is a traditional shopping area that mixes old and modern commercial establishments, mostly located at the Carmo and Garrett streets.
A charming neighborhood and a leafy square N orth of Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcantara is the district of Principe Real, essentially an extention of Bairro Alto , with a pleasant square and shady garden.
The Jardim da Estrela is a delightfully maintained park which is opposite the magnificent Basilica da Estrela that lies to the west of Lisbon. The park was originally called the Jardim Guerra Junqueiro but due to its close proximity to the basilica the name has all but ceased to be used.
Mercado da Ribeira (also known as Mercado 24 de Julho) is Lisbon's main food market since 1892, when it opened with an iron interior and a large oriental dome. In 2014 it was taken over by Time Out Lisboa magazine, whose management added stalls offering food and traditional local products.
This is one of the most majestic squares of Lisbon and one of the largest in Europe, Once, it was also the main maritime entrance to Lisbon. You can still see the old marble steps leading up to Commerce Square from the River Tagus.

This is the perfect way to tour the city. The e-bikes were high quality and easy to use. Bruno our guide spoke excellent English and had an in-depth knowledge of Lisbon, its buildings and its history. The tour covered a wide area but the e-bikes made this easy. We would recommend this tour to anyone.
Daniel took us on an adventure, exploring many regions of Lisbon. It was Easter break and quite busy, but we felt comfortable on the bikes with our guide even when areas were congested. Lots of fun and lots learned. Thoroughly recommend this tour and Daniel!
Never received at all. Poor communication and poor customer service. Would not recommend. There was a glitch in the address with the GPS. Instead of understanding and rescheduling or refunding, they ignored my requests.
Terrible experience. There is a glitch with the way the Apple Maps & iPhone calendar pair with the Viator app and I was sent to the wrong address. Instead of immediately responding when I reached out, neither the tour operator or Viator has answered my request to refund for the tour I never received. Wasted day and wasted money. Very sad.
Bruno was a fantastically knowledgeable guide and we felt very safe with him riding in front as he gave clear signals. Three hours or so was a good length and we saw a lot of interesting things.
Great and professional guide. Explained the sites and history in a very clear and interesting way. The guide, Bruno, if I remember the name correctly was kind, patient, and a fantastic wealth of knowledge about the city’s history. Very much recommend. Five star experience.
Great start / end location, with a parking garage close by. (Street parking in that area limited to 2 hours. Location also metro accessible, Sao Sebastiao station just 2 blocks away.) We were checking it out for guests coming next month. It's definitely a great introduction to all things Lisboa, and the e-bikes were simple, effective, and easy. Best of all, the Guide is knowledgeable, personable, thorough, and fun. Bruno can tailor things to your knowledge and interests.
Absolutely loved our private e-bike tour of Belém in Lisbon! From start to finish, it was such a fun and relaxed way to explore this beautiful part of the city. Our guide, Daniel, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable, and easy to be around. He shared just the right mix of history, local stories, and fun facts without ever making it feel like a lecture. The e-bikes made it a breeze to ride along the waterfront and through the historic neighborhoods. We covered so much ground without breaking a sweat, which made it perfect for a warm day. We stopped at all the highlights: Jerónimos Monastery, the Tower of Belém, the Monument to the Discoveries. Daniel gave us time to explore, ask questions, and take great photos. What made it really special was how personalized it felt. Bikeawish met us at our hotel with our bikes. Such great service. Since it was a private tour, we could set the pace, ask anything, and go slightly off the beaten path. We even made a quick detour to the LXFactory district…so worth it. If you’re visiting Lisbon and want a fun, active, and memorable way to experience Belém, book with Bikeawish. And ask for Daniel you won’t regret it!
This was definitely a highlight of our time in Lisbon. Bruno was an outstanding tour guide (the BEST!). He really was knowledgeable, personable, and he took us to see all the amazing places in Central Lisbon. It was SO fun (and safe) too! We were able to see a lot of Lisbon on e-bikes, and the bikes were in outstanding condition and easy to ride!! Also, it turned out to be just my husband and me! OMG! I highly and strongly recommend this tour to everyone! It was so amazing and fun!
Fantastic bike trip through the city, our guide was awesome and gave us a lot of insight into Lisbon and Portugal!
We had an amazing bike ride with Daniel! We definitely saw so many wonderful parts & views of Lisbon! The E bikes were in great shape & made the steep hills of Lisbon a breeze!! Highly recommend
This was a great way to see Lisbon because it's too hilly to walk everywhere and there are a lot of streets you can't drive on that you can access by bike. Their e-bikes were excellent and well maintained. They were prompt and communicated well. The guide, Daniel, did a fantastic job. We saw so much of Lisbon in the 3 hours. I would highly recommend this tour. It is best for people who are comfortable on a bike as Lisbon is busy, some streets are steep and there are a few hazards.
We like taking e-bike tours through different cities and have done in many with different operators. The bikes supplied by bike a wish were in great condition and worked like new. We got helmets that weren’t used a million times and fit well. Daniel our guide took us through the streets of Lisbon and showed us many of the highlights to give us a thorough feel for the city. E-bikes allow you to meander through the streets and see places that are hard to get to with all the traffic and parking issues. I’d recommend using these guys if you are looking for a great tour of Lisbon
Returning customer. Another great tour around the city on superb e-bikes and with a great guide, Bruno. An exciting way to get around central Lisbon and you do see plenty this way. It's a perfect duration at a fair price. I enjoyed this tour even more than the previous one I did with them. Thanks to Bruno and team for another memorable tour, and to the lovely Americans we cycled with too.
Great quality bikes. Very friendly and super informative guide. Really looked after us as cycling in Lisbon is a challenge with some steep hills
Very good quality bikes. Our guide designed the things we saw around what we had already seen which was great.
Tour was awesome! Ricardo took care of us, made sure we were doing ok, and was very knowledgeable. The e-bikes were amazing. Highly recommend!
What an amazing tour. Ricardo was fantastic! He really made the trip enjoyable and was a phenomenal guide. Extremely knowledgeable and took care of us very well. I would highly recommend this.
Absolutely brilliant way to see the city. Great value, easy to ride tour led by Bruno. So glad we found this. Thank you. May ‘22
Great experience!!! Bruno was a fabulous guide. Got to see the whole city and learned so much about Lisbon. 10/10!!
My wife and I enjoy doing a bicycle ride whenever we travel. This time we went to Portugal with another couple and booked the 3 hour tour. Given the hilly nature of Lisbon we all used electric bikes( truly I think it would be close to impossible to do it otherwise). We had a great time. Our guide Bruno was very informative and gave us a nice summary of the history of the city as we rode around the different landmarks. Highly recommended
What a fun 3 hour bike tour we had in Lisbon. Daniel our guide was very knowledgeable about the area. Very friendly guy. Loved the Turbo going up the hills!
Highly recommended. Great way to see the city. Our Guide was wonderful. The bikes were really good and easy to use even on the hills.
Must do. The tour allows you to see Lisbon and the various areas and understand the history of the city. Our guide Danial was great. Great bikes. The tour is highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our bicycle tour of Lisbon. Bruno, our guide, was excellent as were the bicycles. Very knowledgable, friendly and relaxed. The hills of Lisbon were a breeze with the E-bikes. Highly recommended.
Ebike was the best way to explore Lisboa. We only had myself and husband in our group. Reached main lookout spots. Better than going on tuk tuk.
We had a great bike-ride!! Rui advised us to take the recently opened "Ponte Ciclopedonal do Trancão" (wooden bridge) and the next 6km's long wooden construction (north) where you can see Flamigo's... Good advice, perfect service ! We highly recommend Bike a Wish!!
Bruno was a very knowledgeable excellent guide. It was a great view of Lisbon. Very hilly so an ebike is a must. He was very trustworthy in the congested traffic, we felt safe behind him always.
Bruno was a great and knowledgeable guide. Very trusted as he led us through some very congested traffic. Thoroughly recommended to see Lisbon. You sure need an ebike.
Had a blast! This e-biking took us all over Lisbon. Bruno was awesome. He was friendly and so knowledgeable. This was a great experience and so much fun. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Don’t miss doing this.
It was awesome. The tour guide Bruno was Excellent. The bike company was very good and super helpful
We had a fabulous guide, Bruno. He looked after us and shared very interesting facts of the history of Lisbon. We covered all areas of Lisbon and got a good feel of the overall space. We would highly recommend it.
Absolutely wonderful experience for our family of 5! The e-bikes are high quality and perfectly maintained (as a nice touch each bike has a bottle of water). Bruno is a calm and collected guide around the bustling city. He extremely knowledgeable and we really enjoyed his tour and information about Portugal.
Fantastic E-bike tour, don’t be put off as Lisbon is hilly, but bikes made it easy and enjoyable - fantastic guide who looked after us and was full of interesting facts
What an awesome tour! Bruno, our guide, was just amazing! We only had a few hours so this was perfect for our itinerary. The E bikes were so well maintained and easy to ride.
Very nice ! Our guide, Daniel, took us on an easy three hour ride. We stopped several places . This allowed us to rest from riding while Daneil informed us about what we were viewing. Everyone was 70 y.o. and we got along fine. Hope you enjoy the tour as much as we did.
What a great way to start your trip with all the main attractions of the city and get some exercise too. Our tour guide “Bruno” was a very knowledgeable, pleasant and lovely person. He was careful to always keep the group together, maintained safety at all times with verbal instructions and actions. The bikes were easy to use (especially when going up the many many steep hills) and they taught us how to use them and offered free helmets too. The 3 hours went so fast and the only downfall to the bike tour was that I wish it was longer and included more areas to visit too. Me and my husband are from Canada and really loved this tour. 🩷🩷🩷
great service! high quality bike, easy process and with a reasonable price. would use again. recommended!!
A great way to see and familiarise yourself with Lisbon. We did this early in our trip and felt we saw lots of the city, reckon 3hrs of riding probably saved us 2days of walking/tramming around areas. The e-bikes are solid and almost effortless to ride, we were all new to them and were familiar with them in minutes - they are amazing on the inclines. It is a mixture of paths, quiet cobbled streets, occasional roads and a few cycle lanes so a reasonable level of cycling ability is required. It`s a hilly and busy city, so there are inclines, declines and pedestrians to navigate in many areas, so again, some biking experience is required. We had a great guide in Daniel. Just a note that if you do this tour in wet weather, extra caution would be needed due to the cobbled and tiled areas becoming slippery (I personally wouldn`t do this tour in the wet). A thumbs up for us though on a sunny day.
What a fun way to explore central Lisbon! We had a wonderful time learning about historical sights and different neighborhoods while getting around on good quality e-bikes. Ricardo was an excellent guide, friendly and informative! Highly recommended as a perfect way to see the city.
This E-Bike Tour is the BEST way to orientate yourself around central Lisbon in a few hours. The tour starts at the top of the Parque Eduardo VII which is a relaxed place to learn how to ride the bikes and take advantage of the electric assistance system....away from cars, tramlines, and other tourists you will encounter in the downtown area. The Bikes are fantastic and the guys take time to set you up properly so you feel safe and confident before the tour starts. Watching other tour groups struggle up the hills confirmed that an E-Bike is the right bike for Lisbon. Our Guide Daniel was fantastic, he was knowledgeable, patient and above all wanted to show us all the best parts of Lisbon, a city he is clearly proud of. He and the team went 'above and beyond' to make sure we all enjoyed the tour. He even contacted us 2 days later to warn us about a rail strike he knew would affect our plans to travel to Sintra that day.....that is exceptional and was much appreciated. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Worth every single penny and one of the best things we did in our week in Lisbon. I wish the 'Bike a Wish' team all the success they deserve in the future.
Excellent! Our guide was very friendly and relaxed and we got to take in so many different neighborhoods in Lisbon in the short tour. Great level of information as well, he gave us the history of the places we saw without overloading us. Thanks!
Great Tour. Our guide Daniel was outstanding! Highly recommend. The bikes were also of superior quality.
Fantastic - got to see so many interesting, historic sights! Our guide Bruno was really knowledgable!
The tour people were nice and the bike were superior, so from that standpoint I give them five stars. The problem was that it was raining and the cobblestone surface was slippery because it was wet. We asked several times if it was safe and they assured us it was. Riding in the rain is not fun. Nor is falling twice. One third into the tour we handed them our bikes back and ran as fast as we could run.
People running the tour were solid guys. Equipment was checked. The tour was fun. We stopped at the highlights. Guide was great for pointing out different interesting things. Bicycle is good way to move through the city. Bike lanes on nearly every street. E-bike is great for getting up hills. Weather was still warm and pleasant.
Our guide Ricardo was very friendly and knew a lot about the city that he told us in a nice way. Very easy to bike on a electric bike!
Excellent tour, Ricardo was a great guide and the e-bikes were perfect and so easy to use. We highly recommend this tour.
The tour was very interesting and a great pleasure. Ricardo was delightful and very knowledgeable and made the tour very relaxing and enjoyable. The bikes are great and make the hills of Lisbon completely achievable! We highly recommend this tour.
