Caparica Surf Experience

The Caparica Surf Experience was great. You get clear instructions to arrive at the meeting point and the instructors go through a handful of clear exercises on land before going into the water. These exercises also translate seamlessly in the water. And having 2 hours to surf gives you enough time surf, capture some great moments on video and photo's to commemorate your achievement for the day. The Caparica Surf Experience is thus very worth it and great value for money!

It was a fantastic experience. A good mix of on the beach teaching and getting into the water and doing it. I would say it is quite exhausting so make sure you are prepared and conserve your energy. Filipe was our instructor and he was really good. One of those types where you can tell instantly he’s very experienced. He was also quite funny and willing to help us out when we struggled. Also very down to earth mentioning it was quite late for us to start surfing but we can get it with time if we stick with it. Overall awesome experience.

I had a great experience and Filipe was a great instructor. Everyone in our group was able to get up and ride a wave by the end of the experience. Highly recommend!

Overall had a great surf lesson! The basics were explained to ensure we knew what to do. The valuables and clothes were locked up so we didn’t have to worry. The waves and beach were beautiful and all the instructors were super nice, helpful, and informative. I would totally book this trip again!

Pros - friendly and knowledgeable teachers, plenty of time in the water, good teacher to student ratio (about 1 for every 4-5 of us), started from the basics and built up, wetsuits and boards supplied, good price, valuables were kept securely while we learnt Cons - given the group size it could be a bit crowded in the water, one of the tutors didn't give much feedback on technique (although the others were fantastic)

the instructors are super lovely, they’re very encouraging and helpful by giving good advice. the beach itself is a really good place to start out, consistent waves that aren’t too big and really soft sand all around. really glad we went and thank you to the guys today!!

We had a great time! Our instructor David was amazing. We were split into smaller groups between the three instructors so we got a lot of one and one time and even managed to get up on our feet a couple of times which we were delighted with.

What an amazing experience! The school was incredible, and the people there? Absolute legends. The instructor was the heart and soul of it all—kind, encouraging, and with a passion for surfing that’s downright contagious. I’m not sure if I learned to surf or if I just spent hours laughing and having the time of my life. 10/10 would wipe out on the waves with them again! 🏄‍♂️🌊

Mauro was very helpful, he really watched each surfer's technique & form and then had lots of tips and tricks to improve your skillset. He also led a great warm-up that basically made this experience an all-in-one yoga class + surfing lesson. Our lesson had people from a variety of skill levels and he was able to meet each surfer's needs tactfully. Would definitely recommend this surf school & will return next time I'm in Lisbon.

The one called Miguel has to be known, first for his capacity to be a great "pédagogue", and versy nice compétent teacher, and a unbelievable transmeter of greatness in surf way of life :) A for sure a lot of anecdotes to hear from him too !!

We were looking to surf in the area of Lisboa and we found GetStoked online. A very good price and you can be picked up at the Lisboa Zoo so you do not have to travel yourself to the beach. The communication was very well over whatsapp and the instructor Miguel was so enthousiastic and welcoming! The wetsuits fitted as a glove and we were able to stand on the board in the water! Definitely worth it!!

We were all beginners in my group, we were first taught the theory and then got straight into it. The experience of the instructors were amazing, highly recommended.

An experience to absolutely do to enjoy the Lisbon ocean to the fullest. September is a recommended month to do this activity. Team of prepared, professional, friendly, and helpful instructors. If you like sports, two hours are enough for you to fall in love with surfing!

Felipe and Carlos were very good instructors, always attentive and encouraging in this first lesson of this very difficult but very beautiful sport, we will definitely remember it!

It was truly incredible! The teachers were educational, we progressed throughout the session thanks to their advice. They are always near us and guide us from start to finish. I learned a lot about surfing and about myself, they really pushed me to surpass myself. Know that the same day I was sick, well I had so much fun that I no longer felt any symptoms! To do again without hesitation ^^
