This is a very good quality walking tour. 3 hours of mild to moderate walking when going uphill. We learned some good information about Lisbon, had some tasty included pastry, snack, and a drink. Guilherme was our tour guide. He was friendly and thoughtful of our family of three with a four year old toddler. We brought a foldable stroller and it was manageable despite all the stairs and cobblestones. Our tour group had 9 people who showed up and 2 cancellations or no show. 60-70 degree weather November 5. Walked about 6 miles.

Itinerary
Rossio Square or Praça do Rossio, officially called Praça D. Pedro IV, is Lisbon’s nerve centre. The square is situated in the city’s Baixa neighborhood.
Church located on São Domingos square.
The most expensive and fancy avenue in Lisbon.
The square is dedicated to the restoration of the independence of Portugal in 1640, after 60 years of Spanish domination. The obelisk in the middle of the square, inaugurated in 1886, carries the names and dates of the battles fought during the Portuguese Restoration War, in 1640.
One of the most impressive building on the historical center, the exterior was inspired by the 16th century Manueline architecture
Either due to the XIV century convent or the Carnation Revolution in 1974, this small square marked Lisbon's history
One of the most interesting monuments in the historic center where you can admire a breathtaking view
Elegant neighborhood developed in the 19th century for the city's intellectual and wealthy elites, it is possible to take a trip back in time just by admiring the facades of the shops and cafes that have survived the passage of the years
The main street in the city center in Lisbon
Completely rebuilt after the earthquake of the 18th century, obeying new rules of urbanism and antiseismic architecture, based on extremely innovative solutions for its time, it is still the heart of the city.
Panoramic View
The oldest neighborhoods of Lisbon. Well known for Fado music and narrow streets
Jose I , "The Reformer", was the King of Portugal from 31 July 1750 until his death. Among other activities, Joseph was devoted to hunting and the opera. Indeed, he assembled one of the greatest collections of operatic scores in Europe.
The Praça do Comércio - Commerce square is located in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. Situated near the Tagus river, the square is still commonly known as Terreiro do Paço because it was the location of the Paços da Ribeira (Royal Ribeira Palace) until it was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon earthquake. After the earthquake, the square was completely remodeled as part of the rebuilding of the Pombaline Downtown.

I booked this trip for a cruise stop. Our guide Filipe was fantastic - very knowledgeable, affable and helpful. English was excellent. Such a great tour and excellent value with some local treats included. Highly recommend. Many thanks Filipe you are a credit to your home town.
Tgisb3-hour guided tour was perfect! Our guide Guillermo was engaging, professional, humorous and kept us on track while providing a ton of info about Lisbon and Portugal! Group size of just under 14 was the right size and diversity. This was an afternoon and monies well spent!
This was a great tour, especially for the price. The guide, Felipe, was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and gave a lot of great recommendations for further exploration after the tour.
Great tour. Our guide Philippia was informative, kind, and interesting. She knew just where to stop. When anyone in the group had any kind of difficulty, she went right to their side and helped to remedy the situation. She was proactive and helpful throughout the tour.
Amazing time! So much fabulous food and alcohol. Great guide! Highly recommend this tour!
It was one of the best tours I've ever experienced. Small and friendly group of 5 people who were all ready to try mew things and enjoy what the tour guide Melo has to offer! And Melo, he's amazing. Attentive, thoughtful, emotionally intelligent and alert and prepared. Before the end, we were ready to pile on nicknames on Melo: Melo the good fellow, Melo, the walking GPS, Melo, the guy with pictures and stories to share about Portugal! We had a most wonderful And memorable time! Portugal, we're ready to return!
Daniel was an excellent guide sharing with us not only the places but the history of the country. Very engaging and worthwhile. I’d highly recommend this company and our guide. They even tried to accommodate my special food needs.
Felt more like a history lesson more than a walking tour
Caterina was amazing and very knowledgeable guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly had a real passion for Portuguese history.
Seriously, do this walking tour the first thing you do when you arrive in Lisbon!!! William gave us and informative and interesting introduction to Lisbon’s history, culture, and historical landmarks. In addition, it was and a “how to do” Lisbon including where to get authentic food (and we ate some too) and how to get around town. You do not have to climb up steep hills and streets of Lisbon to get around. William took us on the elevators to get to the Alfama area (it was 6 or 7 stories up) and took us through the Baxia-Chiado Metro station which took us up another 6 or 7 stories. Best tour ever!
The walk was great Franco our guid tour was excellent. He knows about the history of Lisboa. I really recommends.
Alex was fantastic! She was engaging and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Lisbon which we will use for our next three days.
Our guide, Alexandra Mauricio, was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable with a very good sense of humour. We live in the Algarve and so will highly recommend her to any friends who visit Lisbon.
Great tour for solo travelers -highly recommend! William was a great tour guide- friendly and very knowledgeable

Catarina B was a hospitable and knowledgeable guide. We really enjoyed the tour!
Our small group of 8 people was perfect size with the best English speaking guide Philip. He provided an excellent intro to Lisbon both historically and scenic. Also walking path was not as hilly as expected given it included manageable steps and elevators to gorgeous views. Lastly iconic snacks were included along the way.
Alex was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable, excellent English, and a great sense of humor. She knew all the short cuts, escalators, and elevators to minimize climbing the hills in Lisbon.
Pedro was an excellent guide. Full of animated stories. He's very knowledgable in Portugese history and everything else Portugese. Count yourself lucky if you get Pedro as your guide. Wished I booked this on the 1st day rather than last day. Saw so much of the city I would have liked to revisit again.
Lovely guide with interesting stories. Good route and tasty treats. Plus points for showing how everything in the world is connected.
Very complete, nice intro to city. Guide was easy to hear and kept the group engaged. Good experience overall
We had such a great day! Our guide Filip was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the city. He knew all the shortcuts and gave us a lot of history of the city.
Excellent tour in all aspects. This walking tour is a must to see Lisbon. Used local knowledge to navigate the city and reduced the hill climbing while still seeing the main sights. Extremely knowledgeable guide.
Franco was a wonderful guide. Learned so much about Lisbon. A very engaging and informative tour guide .. Highly recommended
Great tour!! We learned so much about this beautiful city from Alex, our amazing guide. Thanks 😊
We had a great time with João! He gave us insight into Portuguese history and culture and showed us many different historic sites. We also enjoyed very much the tastings of Portuguese food and drinks in local places you normally wouldn’t find as a tourist!
Great way to get some background on Lisbon and see parts of the city. Enjoyed doing this first thing when I arrived. Your guide was friendly and knew a lot of history!
The guide and experience was outstanding.
Our guide was fantastic and took us to many off the beaten path places for a real authentic locals food tour. Highly recommend. Wear good walking shoes as we did quite a long walk and uphill.
Felipe Roque was pretty good. Spoke English well. I just hope he had a mic - hard to hear him when at the back. Had to stand or walk next to him. He informed us before the tour the walking plan to prep us. We saw beautiful views and learned history of Lisbon. From the Praça Dom Pedro IV to Arc de Triumph. We did both the full of tourist spots and back ways - not much tourist around and not crowded. Ate some local pastries (egg custard and cod bakalaw). The 3 hours and fee were just right.
Wonderful experience! Our guide, Jose, was fantastic! We had a great time exploring Lisbon’s with him.
Jose was an excellent guide. Friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer varied questions and to wait for lost Germans. Learnt lots.
Brilliant guide, Filipe, gave us a great walking tour! Well worth doing, informative and very enjoyable. Would recommend.

Alex was a very informative tour guide who was full of information and made it light hearted and enjoyable.
My tour guide, Guilherme, was fantastic. He provided the right amount of history so that we could learn about Portugal and Lisbon in particular, from the devastating earthquake in 1755 to the Carnation Revolution in 1974. We toured the major sites and he treated us to pastel de nada, green wine and a cod cake. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Our guide Daniel was outstanding. He knew all the ways to get around town without climbing stairs or walking up hilly streets. The knowledge at every stop was amazing. He knew the history of the cotton a tee. Great tour.
Outstanding tour. Daniel was our guide. He knew all the short cuts to keep us from climbing stairs or going up endless up hill streets. His knowledge of the history of the city is incredible. Jokes were not bad either. All the spots that we went to were beautiful and full of photo opportunities.
