Our guide Shirush was fantastic - very knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. She catered for our interests and adapted the tour to suit us.
Excellent private tour - Shiri was very knowledgeable and guided well, noting our interests and pace. Plenty of ‘hacks’ to cover the ground in an engaging way. Would recommend highly
Beatriz was an excellent guide, walking us through some very interesting parts of the city. She did a wonderful job detailing some very interesting Portuguese history. It was a very nice tour. Thank you!
We booked a private walking tour for three on 10/19. Martino was waiting for us at our designated spot. We spent the next three hours exploring the Alfama, Baixa and Chiado neigborhoods. This tour should only be booked by those who are physically fit. There is a lot of climbing and you are on your feet for three hours. Tino was very informative and kept us enthused by describing the architecture, and history of Lisbon. We stopped for world class pasteis de natas and ginjina. I recommend this tour for those interested in architechture and history and would request Tino in a heartbeat.
We had a great tour. Our guide Walter was engaging and very knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of this beautiful city!! Highly recommend.
Had a really enjoyable tour and learnt so much about Lisbon. Chiara was so knowledgeable - she had so many interesting facts and stories about Lisbon. A really good tour to kick start our vacation in Lisbon.
Natalia was fantastic. We learned the history of Portugal while walking through 3 Lisbon neighborhoods. Great first day in Lisbon, highly recommended.
We met our guide Walter under the arch in the Praca Commercial. We were a little bit early, but Walter was already there waiting for us. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm was contagious from the start as he took us from the arrival of Phonesian traders taking refuge from Atlantic storms 4000 years ago to the terrible earthquake of 1755. The tour took us into the social, cultural and architectural changes that happened over the course of those events and since. He also found us a couple of little culinary treats along the way that we would never have found on our own. We had a great time and would thoroughly recommend.
It was very informative and just the right amount of time for a walking tour. Kleiber our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Kleiber was an outstanding guide, and we highly recommend him and Hi Lisbon Walking Tours! We spent three wonderful hours exploring Lisbon with him and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the city’s fascinating history and its connections to Portugal’s former territories. Kleiber was knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer all of our questions. He also shared some excellent restaurant recommendations, which we really appreciated. This tour was the perfect introduction to Lisbon and a fantastic way to start our visit. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kleiber to anyone looking for an informative, enjoyable, and personalized tour of the city!
Chiara was a fabulous guide! She was very knowledgable and was able to give us lots of great stories about the history of the city and the important landmarks. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend.
We have visited Lisbon several times over the last 35 years and this is the first time we booked a tour. It was well worth it. One misses out a lot by wandering around a city, which used to be our previous preferred option. Chiara was very knowledgeable and an excellent and entertaining raconteur. She seemed to enjoy imparting her knowledge. The tour was nicely structured from early days to more recent times. The pace was just perfect. Thank you.
Kate was knowledgeable, with wide ranging conversation and insightful information about Lisbon and Portuguese history. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend her. She was able to give us historic information whilst also keeping the tour fun and upbeat with coffee stops and restaurant recommendations thrown in.
Spent a very enjoyable 3 hours with Shira learning about Lisbon this morning. We really enjoyed her spin on Lisbon’s history expertly co-ordinated with the sights. Starting at 9am helped avoid the crowds and heat of the day.

We had Keliber as our guide for the 3hr private walking tour. He was very knowledgable and personable. He also gave lots of great tips for places to eat and visit for the rest of our trip. Love the tour!
The guide, Shiri, was friendly and very knowledgeable. She had shortcuts to avoid steep climbs and suggestions for other activities in Lisbon. We felt comfortable with her and she was very helpful in answering questions.
Today my husband and I enjoyed a thoroughly fascinating historical walking tour with Kateryna (Kate) of the Baixa and Chiado areas. Kateryna is friendly and passionate about Lisbon and very knowledgeable of the history of the area and history in general. She was very engaging and gave us extra tips of places to see and eat and sent links of other recommendations. This “Best of Lisbon” tour is an excellent way to start a visit to Lisbon. I can highly recommend Kateryna as a guide. Don't forget to give her a good tip.

Kate was very well informed about history, architectures, political history etc. very approachable and attune to our needs and interests.
We had such a great experience with Kate! We appreciated her knowledge of Lisbon and its history. I've experienced tours in the past that are so history heavy in the narrative that I zone out. Kate struck the perfect balance of history and fun! Lots of walking up and down stairs but the pace was exactly right for our group!
Our tour guide Kate was very informative and very pleasant
I had a very enjoyable afternoon with Shira seeing Lisbon. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and Lisbon. I was very comfortable with her talking about a multitude of subjects. She has an easy-going personality, and I felt very comfortable spending the afternoon with her.
Good walking tour. Covered Alfama and downtown. No more to comment. Need one hundred words to finish the review. Tuk Tuk tour is much better.
Kleiber was great. Great knowledge of the city, personable, pace was great. Highly recommend kleiber for your tours through Lisbon!
Amazing guide who was very knowledgeable about everything it was to know about Portugal and Lisbon. He was probably the best guy I have ever had for any tour, a blend of knowledge, humor, and an appreciation for the needs of everyone in our tour.
Jose our tour guide was super knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon. We had an excellent tour and the kids were entertained for the duration. Would recommend this private tour for a good overview of the City and some nice photos from various viewpoints.
The most amazing trip around while walking. Highly recommend The guide was so knowledgeable and interesting
Shiri was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and knew several elevator and escalator “short cuts” that made a 3 hour private walking tour through several neighborhoods of Lisbon very manageable and enjoyable.
Tour guide Katia was absolutely fabulous. She knows Lisbon and Portuguese history inside and out, walks you to sites that are not in the touristy areas and you take in great views while learning about history, architecture, and Portugal society.
Kate is an exceptional tour guide - showing my wife and me a hidden part of Lisbon. She is very knowledgeable in history, background and the peoples of Lisbon and she introduced us to a great restaurant as well! Don't miss this - it's a great opportunity!

Great tour guide. Super informative.. wide range of knowledge. Walked all over. Need to be careful on the cobblestone streets
We had a lovely tour with Shiri. She made sure to find out what interested us and took us to the best areas. Shiri had a wealth of knowledge about each location, and made learning about the sites a pleasure. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had made a new friend! Shiri went above and beyond by sending us many restaurant and sightseeing locations to go to on our own the next day. What a wonderful time!!
We just completed a fantastic tour of Lisbon with Walter. His knowledge of the history of the city, with his education in architecture, really shone during our tour, showing extra depth to how the earthquake of 1755 shaped the city as it is today. I highly recommend this tour and Walter. Wear comfortable shoes and prepare to climb the hills of Lisbon.
Beatriz was very informative. She and her family has lived in the Lisbon area for generations. She really had an insiders view. She was prompt and courteous. It’s definitely worth your time in your money if you’re in a big city like Lisbon with so many people and so much history. I would do it again.
