She was extremely knowledgeable and offered a lot of interesting details every step of the way. We very much enjoyed the treats at the bakery. Miguel was the very best! So much knowledge and insight into what we saw. But not just the monastery, he is an expert and a study in much of Portugal. He was a student of what he presented to us. A fantastic tour and guide.

Louis, our guide, was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned a lot on the tour. The company (Portugal Me & You) running this tour needs to learn about what good customer service means. They offered transport for €30. As the taxi fare is around €15, I assumed this was transport both ways. My error. The pick-up time was set by Portugal Me & You. The car was late, the driver spoke no English and we arrived at the tour 40 minutes after the start time. The tour group were, as a consequence, held up and were not happy, making us feel very uncomfortable. When I complained to Portugal Me & You and asked for a 50% refund, I got the following response: "Our prices reflect the quality of our services and the comfort we strive to provide to our customers, and therefore cannot be adjusted". My advice is don't use this overpriced, very poor service, either get a taxi or use public transport.

This Monastery is beautiful but it’s boring if you don’t have a good guide that will explain every detail of who/why/where/what for etc like Miguel!!! He was amazing! His English is good and easy to understand, he made the tour so interesting that 2 h passed by so fast!!! He’s so passionate about what he talks and that’s why it’s so great!!

She had a vast knowledge of the history of the Monastery, which made the tour very interesting. Dee's bubbly personality, and sense of humor made the tour fun and lively. She was very kind and made sure everyone's needs were met. I would highly recommend Dee and Portugal, Me and You!

Dee was excellent. Funny, considerate, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She went above and beyond making sure everyone was taken care of. If you book on Sunday morning, you won't get to see the inside of the church, but if ir is the 3rd Sunday of the month, you may get to see the celebration for the president which was unique.

Miguel was excellent and explained the history of Belém and the voyagers and Portugal in such vivid details. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour. The meeting point was easy to find, and the tour was just the right length. Our guide, Simone, was very engaging and shared plenty of interesting stories and insights. Finishing with an original Portuguese custard tart was the perfect way to end the experience!
