Arrábida Kayak Tour From Lisbon With Beach Picnic – Small Group

We had a perfect day. The Kayak-Tour and the views were stunning, the organisation (Pickup, Food usw.) perfect and your guide really lovely, thank you Hugo!

Our guide grew up in the coastal village we departed from and it showed in the skill, knowledge and pride that he took in this tour. This was an awesome experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you!!

Its a beautiful trip and the beach is lovely. The water is cold but worth the dip than just relax on the beach and take in the sun

This experience was the highlight of our time in Lisbon! The tour guide, Afonso, was knowledgeable and fun, and never rushed us but instead made sure we spent as much time as we wanted at the beach. His friend, the driver, was just as wonderful with such smooth driving that we all slept on the way back--a clear deviation from the driving norm in Lisbon! Additionally, the excursion began early enough in the day that we mostly had the park to ourselves in the morning, making the experience even more magical and providing much-needed reprieve from the Lisbon crowds.

We had an amazing time kayaking around the coast of sesimbra, especialy thanks to our guide, Afonso. He took great care of the group, while being entertaining and funny! Definetly ask him for food recommendations around Lisbon too :)

A wonderful tour with a wonderful guide! Afonso was helpful, funny, and knowledgeable. We were first-time kayakers and he was great at explaining how to move and what to do and not do. HIGHLY recommend this experience to everyone.

My friend and I had a very good experience with this kayak rental, guide, lunch, beach stop, with transportation from Lisbon and back. It's something like 8am pickup to 2:30pm return. Alfonso, our group leader was friendly, informative and practical. The sit on top kayaks were good. Perhaps 90 minutes of kayaking and exploring the rocky coastline, the an hour stop to swim, rest, have lunch and maybe an hour kayaking back to the marina put in spot.

Afonso was the best guide ever. This excursion was one of my favorites the entire trip. We got to know so many cool people from our group, and Afonso kept us engaged and safe the entire way. The beach was insanely beautiful and Afonso packed everything we needed. Our driver was also really cool. Highly recommend this experience.

Tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and personable. It was a beautiful trip. Bring snacks and beware of limited places to use the toilet. The diving shop will allow you to shower for 2 euros after your swim.

We were 9 guys in a company seminar to Lisbon and booked this activity by a very nice day. We loved it ! It offers a really nice break from Lisbon's bustle. The spots we went by were incredible, with those impressive cliffs overhanging us. We also had a great time at the beach. But it would have been nothing without our guide Afonso !! Such a nice person, many thanks to you and the team !! This is 100% recommended ! Says a french group (not from Paris :-P)

Really good experience, probably my favourite experience I had during my trip. Was really good weather and the tour people were amazing as well. Very good at explaining the techniques if you have never kayaked before and the tour guide had good humour as well, laughed a lot of times.

Afonso is amazing. He is welcoming, well prepared and engages with everyone in the group. The kayaks were all set up and he provided a delicious home prepared lunch.

Rui was our guide and he was wonderful! We got to see so many amazing cliffs, caves, and other beautiful geological features. It was such an amazing way to see a new city in Portugal and a different side to this beautiful country. His wife made our lunch and it was delicious and all of his other snacks he brought were perfect. He was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to planning our other stops in Lisbon and other parts of our trip to Portugal. Anyone of any level of experience kayaking could handle this excursion, as Rui was helpful to those at all experience levels and made it fun for everyone.

The Kayak trip in Sesimbra, was hands down one of the highlights of my time in Portugal. The combination of crystal-clear waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and hidden sea caves made this an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our guide Afonso was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He gave a thorough briefing before we set off and made sure everyone felt confident and comfortable in the water, whether you were a first-timer or more experienced. Afonso shared fascinating insights into the local marine life, geology, and history, which really added depth to the experience. He gave plenty of time on a beautiful beach and provided an excellent lunch If you’re in Lisbon I highly recommend it!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this kayaking tour. We had lunch on a beautiful beach. Luis was very knowledgeable.

Delightful experience. Easy meet up, transport to Sisimbra. Our guides have tremendous pride in their area and it shines through in their tour. We paddled along the coastline, viewed the caves and the gorgeous sights, marine life and beaches. Had a locally made lunch and snack on the beach before returning. Learning of the local fishermen and the National Park was wonderful as the landscape and ocean.

Really incredible tour! The guide was so kind, helpful, and knowledgable. The paddle was easier than expected since I’ve never kayaked on the ocean. The views and the beach were so beautiful! Priceless experiece.

This was an amazing tour of a beautiful nature park coastline. Our guide was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and did his best to accommodate everybody's skill level. This is a great way to see parts of the park you'd otherwise not be able to, not to mention get up close to some marine life!

From the pick up to drop off, the tour was seamless. Our driver, Hugo, was very engaging and provided us will lots of information about living in Portugal and its history. I felt very safe with our kayak guide, Alfonso, and he lead us on a fantastic journey along the coast. We were able to kayak through some caves and had a relaxing lunch on a nice beach. At the end of the tour he provided us with his number so that we could message him to ask for recommendations regarding restaurants and anything else we wants. Overall a great experience.

Alfonso was a great guide. He took the time to get to know everybody on our tour and the kayaking itself was more beautiful than I expected. He made us lunch and we were able to enjoy some time at the beach. (Pick up was at Time Out Market -Av. 24 de Julho- we were standing at the wrong entrance at first).

Small group kayaking tour was amazing!!! Afonso was excellent- made sure we were safe and comfortable (even let me wear his shoes when I forgot mine- so I could enjoy the beach) He was interesting to talk to and very knowledgeable- the water and the coastline were beautiful!!! It was our favorite of the four tours we had in Lisbon!!!! Highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Kayaking is such a fantastic way to learn about the local area, the sea life. Luis, the tour guide, was excellent. His passion for the area, the sea and what it provides for everyone was so refreshing (as was the water when we went for a swim!)

This was truly the experience of a lifetime! Afonso was truly amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable about Portugal's history/geography and shared these facts throughout the tour. He also was extremely personable and made good conversation with all of us throughout the excursion. Most importantly, he was an amazing instructor. His instructions helped to ensure everyone's safety and success, regardless of expertise level. My friend and I had not kayaked in five years and were very rusty to say the least. Early on in the excursion, we capsized in the kayak; however, Afonso came immediately to our rescue and gave us tips to succeed. By the end of the excursion, we felt like olympians and had no other issues! The views were also unreal, the lunch was delicious, and the beach was both gorgeous and relaxing. All in all, I had an amazing time during this excursion and I will cherish it forever! 10/10 recommend!

We had a fabulous time exploring the National Park with our amazing guide Luis. His knowledge of the area he lives in and loves was outstanding. The weather was perfect and except for a short period the paddling was not that hard. Highly recommend! 🙂

A must-do for Lisbon! The whole experience was amazing, right from the pickup by our lovely driver Gabriel, to the magical scenery on the water. In particular, our guide Alfonso was genuinely the most interesting man we’ve met. He was funny, helpful, great to chat to and had so many insights to Lisbon beyond the tour. We went to one of his recommended restaurants and it was the best meal we’ve ever had. Couldn’t recommend this activity more.

My family and I had a great time on the kayak trip. The timing of the trip was great as we managed to get to the beach early enough that it was not crowded yet and we're able to enjoy. Our guide Afonso was great very helpful and friendly.

This was a wonderful tour. The short drive from Lisbon to the harbor was pleasant followed by a great day on the water. Several hours of kayaking and cave views finishing with lunch at a beach. They provide everything you need and made it very comfortable. Having said all that, the best part of my tour was the guide - Afonso is knowledgeable, engaging, funny and kind. He made the difference between this being a good day to a great one! Full of little pearls about the history of the region and the Portuguese people. He loves his job and it shows. He is an encyclopedia on all this to do in Lisbon - gave me some great dinner and gelato recommendations. Ask for Afonso as your guide if you can.

What an amazing experience!! The views were beautiful, the company is well run, the beach where we stopped for lunch was very cool and the lunch itself was delicious. Rui, our guide, was very friendly and we learned a lot from him. Just be aware that you need to be somewhat physically fit as we ended up kayaking about 5 miles and our particular day was pretty windy which made for some very sore arms the next day. Overall, would highly recommend!

It was nice to take a break from walk-heavy church and history for a day, and enjoy a sunny day on the ocean. Alfredo was a great guide and the group had fun. The park and the isolated beach we had lunch at were beautiful.
