Arrabida And Sesimbra Small-group Day Trip From Lisbon With Wine Tasting

Overall it was a good trip and Yann was a fabulous guide. My complaint is the first winery, Jose Maria De Fonseca, was a huge let down. It was more of a sales pitch for a large industrial winery. The guide was on autopilot and combine 4 groups so it was a lot of people. And given all of their wines I was surprised we had only 2 small tastings. The fishing village is fine- expect to spend a lot at the fish restaurants- very fresh - but still/ $$$, The second winery, Quinta De Alcube. was amazing. Small comfortable and lovely!!! Plus the wine was great. Highly recommend this winery!!!

It was a great tour and our guide Jose was excellent. There was a whole lot more to the tour than what was described. From time to swim in the ocean, to seeing amazing views on top of mountains, to incredible views at the base of Sanctuary of Christ the king overlooking the bridge. It has a long day but I highly recommend.

What an excellent tour! Our guide, Jose, was a fantastic storyteller who brought the history of the city and country to life with his knowledge and engaging stories. The day was perfectly paced, with just the right balance of sightseeing, learning, and relaxation. The wines were delicious, and the entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable. I really was worried to go alone, but the guide was Jose and he was super positive and informative about everything. We get to know each other during the trip and vinegard was very tasteful.

Jose was an amazing guide. The trip is truly exceptional! Both wineries were excellent and the views in the park were breathtaking. The castle (which they only go to on Mondays) was great and the Christ statue was a perfect way to end the day. Highly, highly recommend!

This tour made a very quick Lisbon visit very memorable. I wanted to visit a vineyard and learn more about wine just for personal pleasure, and I ended up truly learning more. Our tour guide, ANTHONY, has been fantastic in sharing his knowledge and making sure we interact womith each other. 10/10 Amazing

It was truly a memorable tour and a wonderful experience! I really enjoyed visiting José de Maria Fonseca Winery and learning more about its history and winemaking traditions. The atmosphere was lovely, and the overall experience made the visit even more special. Our tour guide, Ben, was absolutely fantastic—very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable and added a personal touch to the tour that made it all the more enjoyable. It was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this winery to anyone looking for a memorable visit!

Nice day trip with «Inside Lisbon». We were happy to have a quick day trip around Lisbon with other nice people coming from England and Brasil. Fabio, our guide, was very friendly. We had the chance to share great life experiences together. The stop at Castelo de Sesimbra by the sea was stunning and the Quinta do Alcube had amazine wines to discover. Too bad we can't buy these wines in Canada! Anyway, it's worth the journey!

A great tour with Sergio as our driver and guide. The two wineries were very different but provided a terrific selection of wines in the area. The market stop was certainly a highlight as well as lunch at the beach. Simply a wonderful experience!

Enjoyed our trip. We were hosted by Ugo, who was friendly and gave lengthy explanations about the locality. The only negative in the trip was the sheer amount of driving involved. I think we spent about four hours in the van at least. Unfortunately, the traffic was not kind to us. On the whole though, the choice of wineries and local scenery was excellent, as was the lunchtime food stop.

A fantastic way to see more of Portugal from Lisbon. This tour has it all- wine tasting, lunch at the beach, Cristo Rei with views of Lisbon and an amazing fish market. Thank you Maria for a great tour with just the right amount of history and context.

What a great day! Our guide, Joao, provided us with a very enjoyable visit to two wineries where we were able to sample several Portuguese wines. We visited a medieval castle and stopped at the lovely beachside fishing village of Sesimbra for lunch. It was well worth the trip!

Ricardo was very informative and pleasant. We saw and heard a variety of Portugal's history and what’s happening now; from birds to dolphins,cork, wine, bridges, beaches etc.

This was a delightful tour. We loved all the stops. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The wine was excellent and the quintas were lovely. Jose was a great guide. He was very personable, friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a fun sense of humor. We would highly recommend both Jose and the tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our small-group tour with Tomas! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience truly enjoyable. The van was immaculate and very comfortable, and we loved the wineries we visited. We had plenty of time at each stop to learn, explore, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Our lunch stop in Sesimbra was another highlight. Tomas recommended O Velho e o Mar, and the restaurant was fantastic! We highly recommend booking this tour—you won’t be disappointed!

The four of us has an amazing experience with Phillipe. The tour was well planned and well executed. There was minimal waiting time / driving time between stops which made the day feel seamless, packed with activities, but not exhausting. We particularly wanted to leave feedback becuase of how much we enjoyed our guide Phillipe. He made the tour fun, comfortable and we felt very safe. Excellent day with Orlando! Despite some traffic, we hit each stop with plenty of time and he couldn’t have been more friendly and engaging. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to see some more local areas outside Lisbon with incredible views.

This was an intimate small trip. Our guide Antonio was excellent very welcoming and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend this trip. I would not say it is a trip for wine connoisseurs but an introduction to the local wines and culture of the area. There is a schedule but there is flexibility so do not plan anything immediately afterwards as we arrived back later than planned as we were all enjoying the experience so much. Suggest booking directly with Inside Lisbon to get the best price.

Small group (8 or less) are the best! The first winery was very big and was led by the winery staff. The second winery was small and was just as good.

This experience was a great way to spend our first day in Portugal. Seeing both country and sea scapes with just right amount of stops to get a beautiful view. Our guide Fabio was incredible in maintaining a light and enjoyable experience for all. We were a big group of 5 and there were two single people with us. By the end of the day we were all feeling like old friends.
