Algarve Private Day Trip From Lisbon With Benagil Cave Boat Tour

I have taken plenty of tours in plenty of places, and Enamul with Unstoppable Adventure Portugal is hands down the best guide I have ever had. He is incredibly knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is how patient and well-prepared he is. He clearly goes out of his way to exceed expectations, and he did. He was able to get us in the right places at the right times which means beating the rush! Plus he is a great photographer which comes in handy when traveling solo. I ended up in a small group of four others, and we had such a great time together. If you are choosing between options, the small-group or private tour is absolutely the way to go. The boat ride was a highlight. Enamul arranged our tickets through Atlantic Tours, and they were top-notch as well. If you are visiting Portugal and want to visit Agarve book with Enamul.

We experienced a long full day tour to the Algarve with Enamul. The day was fabulous. The day started early and this was a wise choice - for weather, timing, best time to see caves & be on water, fewer crowds, etc. Enamul has done this a lot and he always advised us well (and had good reasons). He's a very thoughtful guide - giving good info and ensuring safety on trail and comfort in vehicle. He was also helped a lot with getting memorable photos. It was a great trip, we're so glad we went to the Algarve and that we went with this company.

Enamel was great. He offered to take our photos and they came out awesome. It was like we had a wedding photographer as a bonus. He guided us to the best places to eat and was very informative about the places he brought us to. The boat company he contracted for us to see the coast and the caves was top notch. Would definitely use him again.

Unstoppable adventure travel and tour are absolutely amazing!! Our guide had an luxury van for us, we left on time (in fact early) to beat traffic, he took amazing pictures of us and really took great care of all the members. 🌊 Fantastic Algarve Day Trip! 🇵🇹 A wonderful day exploring Lagos, Portimão, Carvoeiro, Algar Seco and the stunning Algarve coastline. The boat trip was a highlight, although rough seas meant we couldn’t enter the Benagil Caves. A special thank you to Enamul, our driver and tour guide, who was friendly, knowledgeable and made the entire day enjoyable. He looked after us so well and made sure we got the most out of every stop. He definitely takes the best pictures to capture the memory perfectly! The excursion was incredibly beautiful and insightful; the guide was very accommodating and very funny—simply put, a really cool guy. I can highly recommend this trip.

I’m not sure what happened when I look at the other reviews but feel it is important to share my experience as this was frankly a terrible and negative experience, particularly for a private tour. When we were picked up, the car had a strong smell of vomit that we had to deal with for the full day. The tour guide, Enamul took us to several places which were beautiful but didn't communicate anything ahead of time that it would be important to have athletic shoes for climbing, particularly as I mentioned right when we were picked up that I had sandals and could have easily been suggested to grab a pair of shoes. Furthermore, he suggested to leave earlier to beat traffic in the morning and we agreed to leave at 730am. I messaged that we would be there by 735am the morning of, and he replied that we shouldn't be more late to beat the traffic. This was fine, but honestly if the traffic is that bad, I would suggest just having the tour start at 7am or 730am rather than inconveniencing the customer with travel changes the day before as we had to skip our hotel breakfast which started at 8am. The tour guide also made several awkward moments throughout. They kept suggesting ways to save a buck and had lunch with us but wasn't saying much. My guess is that the tour guide was probably dealing with something personal but personally it made a really poor tour experience and the vomit smell was too much to let go without a review, at almost $450 per person.

Enam was a very friendly tour guide. He picked us up from our hotel at 7am, and drove to Algarve (we left at 4pm). We first did the boat tour where he organized special seats for us. Thereafter we traveled to all the highlights of Algarve. Overall, a personal guided tour is a very convenient way to see the best of Algarve! I enjoyed the trip, and Enam was great to chat to!

Enam was a great guide, very informative and went the extra mile to show us all the site of intrest he could cover on our day trip. Excellent choice of restaurant for authentic Portugese food at reasonable rates.

Enam drove us to Algarve, is very knowledgeable and knew where to go first to skip the queues. Took us to lovely local restaurant to have sardines. It was a great experience, highly recommended day trip from Lisboa.

We had a great experience with our private driver for our day trip from Lisbon to the Algarve. He was personable, easygoing, and absolutely hilarious with my husband, the two of them talked and laughed most of the drive while I happily sat back and enjoyed the ride! 😂 I still don’t know how he makes that long drive to the Algarve and back so often! He showed us around, walked through some of the caves with us, helped us get some great photos, and gave us time to relax at the beach for about an hour without making the day feel rushed. We also stopped for lunch. The restaurant itself wasn’t necessarily my favorite in terms of the menu and pricing, but the food was fresh, and the potatoes and fried sardines I ordered were phenomenal! We also got to try Portuguese green wine, which, as we learned, isn’t actually green; and my husband really enjoyed his steak. The boat trip was also fun minus the chilly wind. Bring a jacket! BUT so glad our driver got us to the front two seats. Most importantly, we had a fun day, felt well taken care of, and made it safely to the Algarve and back to Lisbon. I would absolutely recommend this company, and if we return to Portugal, I would happily book with them again!

Absolutely Amazing Algarve Experience! Our trip to the Algarve was absolutely beautiful! The coastline, crystal-clear water, and breathtaking scenery were unforgettable. The speed boat tour was definitely a highlight and our guide knew just how to schedule us, so that the timing made for a wonderful day! We had so much fun cruising along the coast, taking in the incredible cliffs and caves, and enjoying the Algarve from the land and water. Our guide, Enamul was great and very prepared. He was very knowledgeable about the area and made the experience exciting! It was an incredible way to see the beauty of the Algarve!

We had a great trip to Algarve with Emanul. As a guide he prepared a thoughtfully crafted itinerary for us that let us see the best of what Algarve had to offer in a short period of time! He took care of everything and all we had to do was show up. While we didn't stay at any one location too long in order to see as much as possible, Emanul was very flexible with the itinerary, and was willing to amend it to best serve our wants for the day! Anam went above and beyond in every way! Great communication and collaboration, he essentially tailored the entire day to our preferences and we were able to see all the amazing spots we wanted to see (along with the best views all thanks to him!). Per his recommendation, we had some delicious tuna burgers for lunch. I appreciate the way he was constantly planning and optimizing to give us the best day. Beautiful caves and friendly guide/owner. Very flexible to change visit-locations (around boat times) based on feedback day-of from the tour group. It’s a long way/commute (lots of van/fuel/tolls to pay for in this $$) to caves from Lisbon though!
