Fantastic experience with Miguel. I read the reviews and agree that you need to have biking experience for this tour. You are traveling on uneven surfaces and up and down steep hills. That said, this is the most authentic way to experience Lisbon. We wished we had a go-pro because we wanted to share with our families how special it was. He took us to unique viewpoints and gave us some great background on the city and Portugal. By far, our favorite experience so far in this country!

Itinerary
In this viewpoint, one of the most famous in Lisbon, you'll see the entire historic Lisbon Center, as well as the entire eastern part.
In this small but very nice square, a historic site in the Revolution of 74, you'll have the possibility to Carmo Convent ruins (Sec. XIC) and the top of the Santa Justa elevator.
One of Lisbon marks are the works made in tiles, with great designs, which were used in the decoration of many buildings. Here we'll see the wonderful building where the most famous tile factory in Portugal was installed. Here we will see the building where the most famous tile factory in Portugal used to workmarks of Lisbon and also of Portugal, are the works made in tiles, which used to be used in the decoration of many buildings. Here we will see the building where the most famous tile factory in Portugal used to work
This is the most beautiful of all Lisbon's viewpoints. In one of the highest points of Lisbon you'll be able to see almost the whole city as if you were on a plane. It's an impressive sight, in a wonderful location, which was very important for the city about 900 years ago. When you get here we'll tell you the story of this important place.
You just arrived in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Lisbon - Graça. Here you have another viewpoint and another fantastic view. You'll be able to see the whole city from another angle and, from very close, the São Jorge Castle. Here, you'll be able to visit, free of charge, the beautiful Church and part of the Graça convent.
We arrive at the Santa Clara market, which is in the center of an important area. Here, every Tuesday and Saturday, there is the oldest street market in Lisbon - the Flea Market. Right next to it are two important monuments, the São Vicente de Fora Monastery (it was the most important in the city) and the National Pantheon, which we'll observe from the outside.
Now it's time to visit the oldest and most traditional neighborhood in Lisbon - Alfama. We'll cycle through very narrow and small streets, which make a real labirint. Here we'll make short stops to learn about the history of this place, to talk with some local people and to toast with a "ginjinha". We'll visit the lower part of this neighborhood, but also several amazing viewpoints - Santo Estevão, Santa Luzia, Cerca Moura and Portas do Sol. In this area we'll cross also Lisbon Cathedral and Santo António Church.
After Alfama, it was time to visit the Castelo de São Jorge neighborhood. Here, also through very narrow streets, we will see some of the oldest houses in Lisbon and the castle gate.
Bordering the Castle and Alfama, the neighborhood of Mouraria is also one of the oldest in Lisbon. Also made up of very narrow streets, this neighborhood also has some curious surprises. One of them, very funny, is the hundreds of pictures, hanging on the streets, with the image of the people who live here.
Here we are in the City Center of Lisbon, the large squares, theaters, shops and some monuments are in this area. We are going to visit the São Domingos Church, and among other locals. We'll pass in Praça do Rossio, at the base of the Santa Justa elevator, under the Rua Augusta Arch of and enjoy the wonderful Comércio Square, which is located next to the Tagus River.

Great guide. Great bikes. Great experience and very knowledgeable history lessons
7 Hills e-bike tour with Hugo was fantastic ! We were up and down hills all over Lisbon. So fun and learned a lot of history. We got a taste of all the look offs and saw beautiful views and peaked inside a couple of churches. This is not a bike tour for you if you aren’t used to bikes. Navigating the busy streets and going down very steep hills was tricky. But if you’re comfortable on a bike 1000% do it!
You will see Lisbon from every angle as you hit all the major hills. The ebikes make it feel you are almost riding on a billard table as you conquer each hill. There is some traffic, and narrow, cobblestone road riding, but the guide is great and the bikes handle the roads well.
It was great- but maybe have a few min to grab food and water! It was very hot and we were out for 4.5 hrs :)
Guide Hugo was very caring, especially when I fell off my e-bike on the first hill.
This is an e-bike ride on the streets of Lisbon. We had a group of 7 people and Hugo our guide kept us all together and moving along the trip nicely. The views are spectacular from the hill points and Hugo was a great guide providing lots of history for us. We covered a lot of ground in 4 hours! I’d recommend this outing for sure.
Not difficult if you listen to your guide. Beautiful scenery, great history and overall good time. No way would I have walked all those hills.
This e-bike tour of the Lisbon 7 hills was phenomenal with Hugo as our guide. The history he shared was also better than expected.
The best way to climb the steep roads of Lisboa is by E-bilking - 7 Hill tour is great and highly recommended - Hugo was a great guide who knows and share his city and history the best Way
Miguel is a great guide, full of tourist facts but great fun. Would recommend to anyone, e-bikes make the hills easy.
Overall, I would recommend this tour, and our guide was terrific, informative, and kept us all together. The views and vista's were spectacular. EBike worked great and made it easy to pedal in the hard areas with steep inclines. I do want to give a "word of warning", which would apply to all bike tours, not just this one. You will be biking through some very crowded areas, over some cobblestone streets, need to navigate so you do not ride on the trolly tracks, and avoid lots of people and traffic along the way. My wife did not realize this ahead of time, though our guide did share his thoughts prior to the start...and she opted out of the experience. I was personally ok with everything, but a nervous bike rider may want really think about doing any bike tour in the city. But this exact provider was terrific and if you want to do this kind of tour, I heartily recommend them.
Very interesting electric bike tour, amazing views of the city. Very knowledgeable guide. Would definitely recommend to families with teenagers- brilliant thank you.
What a great way to see and cover the city. Could not have done it without the e-bikes!! Be aware it’s a little bumpy with soo many cobblestone streets. My husband and I really enjoyed it!! Our guide was very knowledgeable.
Love seeing Portugal from a bicycle. At first, it was a little scary because there were some steep hills, but after I learned the bike, it was a blast.
Safe traveling with guide and bike Great tour very informative about the history of Portugal and lisbon
Great experience, bumpy roads, sometimes crowded, but the views were fabulous! Hugo told us stories, explained the history, took good care of his 7 bikers. Thank you!
Hugo was patient, instructive, knowledgeable about the history of Lisboa and really fun. The tour was so easy. The ebikes were well maintained and made going up those STEEP hills soooo easy. I would highly recommend it.
You get to experience the best views and hear the history of Lisbon from entertaining tour guides! A great, affordable way to spend under 4 hours in Lisbon.
Hugo was an excellent guide. His tour was informative and made us smile. His pace was kind, and he took a lot of care to make sure no one got lost or stuck. At all the road crossing he didn’t rush anyone. He knew what he was up and inspired confidence. Most enjoyable 👍👍👍
Lisbon is an extremely hilly city and there is no better way to see all the view points than with the E-Bikes. Hugo was a great tour guide and was super knowledgeable about the entire city. All the view points were great. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Me and my son took this tour to see the city from the hilly viewpoints and it was brilliant. Hugo our guide was friendly funny and the perfect guide with so much knowledge! Also a small group of 7. Minimal fitness required as the e-bikes make light work of the hills but bike handling experience/ confidence is a must as you are in the traffic. That being said not once did it feel unsafe. I would do another bike tour with this company next time 100%.
We booked this tour as a port day tour on our cruise the office was only a 19 minute walk from pier and communication was excellent. The tour was good taking us to the top of each hill and explaining all about the significance of them to the city.
Hugo our guide was super informative and very laid back and fun. The tour allowed us to visit places we may not have by foot and gave us a real appreciation of the city. It’s about 14k of cycling but very do-able with the e-bike assistance. Deffo recommend.
We loved our rising tour with Pedro. Bikes so easy to ride and Pedro was so knowledgeable on the sites, history, what to see in Lisbon, dining etc.
We enjoyed riding the electric bikes which were fun for getting up the steep hills. Pedro, our guide was knowledgable. It could be tricky at times, steering round the pedestrians with lots of stop and starting. Looking back, rather than riding up all the hills in Lisbon, I would have preferred to ride up a couple of hills, then some of the cyclepaths by the river. In the 4 hours we only had a stop, standing in a shop, right at the end. All of us were keen to have a coffee somewhere mid morning, but despite all of us asking if it was possible, that didn't happen.
Definitely is worth going and get to see sooooo much! Miguel was awesome and neat to have someone passionate & proud of Lisbon doing the tour.
Great guide Miguel-entertaining and pitched tour perfectly .E bikes worked well and Miguel commanded the route
A fantastic way to see the main seven hills sights, plus some great backstreets and alleyways that you would never find on your own. Miguel, our guide WO is locally born, was fantastic!! Well worth the price and a fabulous experience!
Lots of traffic both cars and people. Hard to imagine no injuries. We had one person get lost due to crowds.
Excellent tour to experience the city from above the rooftops. Hugo our guide had a great knowledge of Lisbon and Portuguese history and delivered it in an interesting manner.
You don’t need to be fit to thoroughly enjoy this tour, the electric bike meant we could focus on the journey and the scenery more than the hills. Our guide was amazing, he made us feel safe on the roads and told us all about the places we visited. Lisbon is a beautiful city when you explore it like this. We would recommend this to anyone
They only had bikes for tall people, so with a couple of women on tour there was a lot of time spent finding the right bikes.
Great e-bike tour! It was a great way to see the city and the attractions. I would highly recommend. Tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the city!
Great opportunity to see historic sites and views of the older part of the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable.
This tour was awesome. A great way to get an overview of the entire city in a few hours. Miguel was an amazing tour guide. Kept us on a great pace was was very informative about all of the places we went. Would highly recommend. The bikes were in great condition and suitable for the trip!
Mia was an awesome tour guide in every way! She made it fun. She was knowledgeable. She was caring if one of us needed extra help. She was encouraging. We were unsure at first. But now we are so glad we did this wonderful tour. We will remember this forever!
Maya was great. She is passionate about her city and knowledgeable. We felt safe and got to do and see a lot. The bikes make the hills a breeze!
As an experienced E-bike rider I just finished one of the best rides of my life with guide Maya. Knowledgeable, friendly and certainly enjoys interacting with her guests. The pace for my 74 years of age was excellent, and we enjoyed a few stops along the way to discuss some local cultural sites and sample some great food. Again, the best day and guide ever and the weather in February was amazing ! All the best to Maya ! Bill
This tour was great, everything we expected and more. What a fantastic way to get a feel for the city - and many breathtaking views. Bikes were a high quality brand and we practically "flew" up the hills. Hugo was our terrific guide, highly recommended.
Excellent way to see the city . Bikes very good but I feel that you do need to gave electric bike experience .. then easy despite hills .
Fantastic! Hugo was a great guide, the views were amazing, and e-bike is the best way to see this city!!
This was a thrilling bike tour. Ugo was a terrific guide, engaging, and giving us lots of information on the history of Lisbon. We loved this tour. Would highly recommend it!
Perfect way to learn about Lisbon. Perfect guide, beautiful views, super e-bike. As for me this is the best way of sightseeing.
Great insight to the city, would recommend only missing a star as my bike had a couple of problems that I would not expect! These should have been addressed before letting it go out!
Excellent tour guide and stories. Equipment worked well for us. I question some of the streets we travelled on, especially through Little Dehli. We had a local try to shake us down for made up damage to his car.
Great bike. excellent guide. Really cool city. One of the people in our group was not fit enough for the trip.
The tour was very good. It was a great way to see the city and stop at viewpoints that had great views. It was a bit technical as you often were in tight quarters with vehicles and pedestrians. The cobblestones made it a bit more challenging especially going down some of the steeper hills but our group had some novice riders and they handled the conditions well. The e-bikes were in very good condition and made going up the steep hills a breeze. Hugo our guide was very efficient and kept a close watch on the group. Ive had other guide who were more engaging but hey, he kept us safe and he knew about all the history and interesting facts at each of our stops. The one little negative was it was supposed to be a four hour tour but really at most was 3 1/2 hours. Hence the 4 stars not 5. Overall it was a good tour and a great way to get a first taste of an amazing city
Great bike trip in the rain, with slippery cobblestone and one hill under construction. We learned a lot and enjoyed the stops. Traffic was insane and very difficult to maneuver around all of the people in cars, but we did it!
The e bikes greatly assist you with climbing the hills, we were able to see more in 3 hours than we would have been able to trying to walk around. Our guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and friendly while taking us around. Be mindful you should be extremely comfortable riding a bicycle around the Tuk tuks, pedestrians, other bikers, and cars as you will be riding on the streets. There are no bike lanes except south by the water.
