1 Hour Wine Tasting Apéritif Before Dinner

Wine was good but the guide was not attentiave att all. He gave us very little information and seemed like he was in a hurry to get rid of us.

My husband and I are both wine drinkers but knew little to nothing about Portuguese wines - Caio (I think that's how you spelll it!) was extremely welcoming and kind, very knowledgable about the wines and answered all questions we had. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend if you're new to Portuguese wine!

My first ever "proper" wine tasting experience and it was great. Friendly sommelier, with a positive attitude and good knowledge about local wines. Our group was a mixed bunch of wine aficionados and newbies, and I felt that he pitched the information just about right. You get 3 glasses of wine and some snacks, but our host wasn't shy about topping up the glasses - so I would consider it good value for money. 5 stars!

Big fan. We came for the new Port tasting at 5pm and we were the only attendees. We were informed it was a new experience and we were won over. Neither of us had tried port much before but we loved the tasters and our host was so informative about where they were all from and the different types. Great selection of snacks too. Clearly had a great affect on us as we decided to stay on for another hour and experience the wine tasting session also. Great selection of wines and also very informative. Being able to experience both was fantastic as we were able to compare how port differs to the wine (if you combined both experiences that would be a winner I'm sure!!) You won't regret it. Fantastic experience for any wine lover.

The best wine tasting ever!! The best wine sommelier we ever had, correct, funny and knows his wines. Don’t hesitate, just book.

It was not a nice experience. Our host Riccardo was very unwelcome and arrogant… It could be a very nice experience, but sadly it was a bommer. Maybe with a different host it could be very nice, the wine was good.

We walked in and had a great tasting with the host and other guests. And a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. Cheers 🥂

A great wine tasting. Caio was very informative and answered all our questions. All the wines were delicious and really gave us a feel of all the wonderful Portuguese wines. Would recommend as a pre dinner wine tasting!

Caio is knowledgable (without being pedantic) and will go as deep as the group wants. It’s FUN!! Excellent value for $$$.

Fantastic wine tasting experience with a very knowledgeable and personable host - one not to miss! The wines are delicious, as is the atmosphere and accompanying snacks. This is a great way to spend an hour before dinner if you’re in Lisbon.

not worth it at all. 3 cups of wine which equal to 10 euros weird experience to say the least it wasn’t enjoyable and there’s probably way better options than this

The experience was pretty forgettable, mostly because of the host Ricardo. It was not a very engaging or energetic conversation. The host’s tone was borderline condescending, the environment was not inviting enough to feel comfortable to ask questions — even asking to take a picture of the bottle of wines felt like a big ask.

Really enjoyable, fun and relaxed atmosphere. You're given times between talks about the wine to chat and enjoy some music, not rushed at any point. Would definitely recommend.

No „wine snobbery”. You can just chill, taste and listen to interesting facts about portuguese wine. Super friendly guide!

Caio was an amazing sommelier! We loved learning about the various regions of Portugal and he was so great at answering ALL of our many questions. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough. A true highlight of our Portugal trip!

Booked this as part of my sister’s hen do and we had a wonderful time! Delicious wines, lovely hosts, very affordable and a super fun hour. Highly recommend.

Tried to call to say we were 15min late but no answer , then got a call from the bartender when we were literally in front of the place saying we were late so they cancelled on us right to our face. Tried to negotiate but very unpleasant interaction with the staff. They almost accepted to let us un but the place looked so small and they were so unpleasant we just asked for a refund and went spend our money somewhere else. Might be good for couples (as long as you are right on time) but not for groups. The guy was particularly not nice, unlike other experiences we had in lisbon.

We went as a group of 4 (2 couples) and the host welcomed us warmly. He was very informative about the wines we tried (3 small glasses). Learnt some interesting things! The hour went quickly as we were enjoying ourselves. In hindsight it may have been better to book the longer session. Thank you for a lovely time! We booked via get your guide.

A lovely start to our holiday and intro to Portuguese wine. The host was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He made us feel relaxed and encouraged questions. We all really enjoyed ourselves and the wine especially Portugal 265! I would highly recommend doing this!

Very chilled experience - with selection of three different wines. The venue it’s self was difficult to find with Google maps. Also be prepared to walk up a very steep hill. Otherwise the host was very friendly. I do however wish we were told the method of wine tasting and the flavour of the wines themselves.

This is a nice idea and a great way to try some Portuguese wine before heading off for dinner. It’s a very relaxed event where we were given 3 wines to taste while being told about the grapes etc. The focus was very much on enjoying the wine, there was no ‘preaching’ about what we should be tasting in the wine! It was an informative and enjoyable hour. The venue is small and a bit off the beaten track. It’s a unique idea and started late 2019, then COVID, but it looks like things are back on track for them.

I’m here visiting my boyfriend on vacation and we both like wine, him a little more than me so I thought would a great idea to go wine tasting. Andre was very respectful, funny and even recommended some dinner options for my boyfriend and i. The couple next to us were nice as well.

Alex was an amazing hostess for the wine tasting. I appreciated his jokes and the atmosphere that he created for us. This was definitely one of my favorite experiences while here in Lisbon!

The host knew his wines and was personable. An enjoyable experience, though I would prefer a small amount of cheese to accompany the tasting rather than olives and salty nuts.

Andre was dynamic, engaging, and knowledgeable when discussing the wines, with a splatter of dad jokes - however he was not arrogant as a pioneer in Portuguese wine education. As a wine novice, I had fun and felt welcomed in the shop. Would recommend for all wine knowledge levels.

One our before the wine tasting we got an Whatsapp message that the experience is cancelled. It was a gift to my friend and we planned the day around that experience on the evening. If we had been informed earlier, we would.have planned the day different. All together ist was very disappointing and we.missed half a day of exploring the city of Lisbon.

The host had a lot of knowledge and joy of sharing. Learned a lot! Wish there was a little more time though.
