Lovely hotel let down by the laundry. Got some clothes washed - some ended up shrinking. Raised it politely to staff member who was quite rude in response. Everyone else there was lovely and I would recommend York House.

Hotel York House exceeded my expectations. I knew from the photos when we booked that we were going to love it's quaint charm & nostalgic beauty. Every member of staff were so helpful & friendly & we loved Anna 🙂 The food was delicious at breakfast & we couldn't get enough of the complimentary pastel de natas. We loved our stay & cannot wait to visit again! It deserves 10 ⭐

Excellent location and wonderful personnel. Breakfast was decent as the rooms were. The patio is very cozy and comfortable. If you travel with big luggage it might be inconvenient somehow (due to absence of elevator), though the staff offered us an assistance during check out.
