This hotel has a MAJOR issue. Its situated almost under possibly the noisiest bridge in Europe. That shouldn't be an issue, however my hotel room had one large window that didn't close / seal properly. That allowed an unacceptable level of noise from passing trains into the room at all hours. On my decibel meter app the sound increased by 25 decibels when a train passed, waking me up at 5am each day. It is not an isolated problem, all four guests on my business trip had the same issue, as did a lady i overheard when checking out. Staff are aware as they acknowledge the only way to fix the issue is to have the windows resealed, yet in the meantime management continue to sell the rooms. I have spoken to the hotel Director but shockingly he denied there is an issue to avoid giving me a partial refund. Seriously, stay away from this one! To the management - i can see you have responded to other complaints by stating 'the rooms are equipped with appropriate insulation'. That would be true if the 'appropriate insulation' functioned properly. A window with a broken seal that doesn't close properly is not 'appropriate insulation'. You know that, and it's shocking that you continue to sell these rooms given the sheer volume of guests that complain about this issue after suffering disrupted sleep.

Ok and can be better. To loud under the bridge and no coffee machines in the room. Takes two days to get them. Friendly personal.
Nice decent hotel. Spent a week there. Fairly good location: halfway between the old town and Belém so had to use a lot of Ubers. Decent breakfast.
Spa was ok, not great (outdated facilities, needing maintenance). Service was ok, not great. Location is central, but the surroundings (freeways) aren't the best for a relaxation setting. Food was disappointing, and dining area was underwhelming.
After 25+ years of business travel this has to be hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was truly disgusted by how little care this hotel has for its guests after being lied to and repeatedly ignored. If the noisy, dysfunctional room and 2 hour wait for room service weren’t bad enough (told me it was coming after 1 hour of waiting when clearly it wasn’t), the thing that angered me the most was another guest being checked into my room. For one thing this was a massive safety and security failure. Worse still I was in the shower at the time and so it caused huge embarrassment to both me and the other guest. Three times I spoke to reception (including the deputy manager) to request a formal explanation and apology in writing. Whilst mistakes like this should not happen, my request for a written explanation/apology was a simple ask to the hotel that gave them the chance to put things right. Every time I was promised I would get something in writing but every time my requests just ended up being ignored, as was the same request I made in the feedback I was invited to submit. I don’t usually submit hotel reviews but feel compelled to after being left feeling like this hotel couldn’t care less about the embarrassment I was put through or the safety risk I was exposed to.
