This luxurious property has a privileged location, in Lisbon's historic center and overlooking the Tagus River. Verride Palacio Santa Catarina consists of stylish rooms and suites, blending vintage details with modern comforts. The building's rooftop area features sweeping 360º views over the city. Each room or suite has a distinctive and clean decor and features, with some having balcony views over the Tagus River, while others overlook the traditional Bica neighborhood. With radiant heated floors throughout, the units all have large windows, plenty of natural light and custom furnishings, with a predominance on Portuguese materials. Esop amenities are available in the modern and elegant bathrooms of each unit. Guests may enjoy a customized breakfast in a large table or in the outdoor esplanade overlooking the pool and city or enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant. With river and Cristo Rei views, the Suba restaurant provides a prime dining experience, with modern twists on classic Portuguese cuisine. There is also a rooftop bar. The property's common areas have an exquisite and exclusive feel to them, with some featuring details like imported chandeliers from European palaces, silk-lined walls and varied art pieces on display. Verride has a small swimming pool area, in a terrace which overlooks Lisbon's rooftops and the river. The property is right next to Santa Catarina Belvedere and is just 984 feet from Chiado. Bairro Alto, one of Lisbon's most hip nightlife spots is within a 3-minute walk. At a 15-minute walk is Commerce Square and the well-known Augusta Street Arch, both next to the riverside. Lisbon's Humberto Delgado International Airport is 5.8 mi from the Verride Palacio Santa Catarina. Airport shuttle services are available, upon previous request. If you are arriving by car, please note that access to our historic neighborhood is restricted. However, hotel guests are allowed in the neighborhood. One of the best hotel stays I've experienced. The entire staff was extremely nice and attentive without being overbearing. The food was consistently excellent (breakfast, room service, and the restaurants). The location is very convenient and the rooms are beautiful. Extreme attention to detail from the owner and the entire team was evident throughout. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel. Exceptional service, friendly staff, good views, soft slippers and the mobile was something I’ve never seen offered at other hotels I’ve been to!!! Spa was also not bad. Location is top notch, and the uber was kindly able to come in with luggages thanks to the code! Only thing is paid more and booked a river view but got a different room than the one advertised - without the big balcony. They said “the one advertised was occupied” would have been better to know that in advance then I would’ve booked something else.

10/5 stars! Verride Palácio Santa Catarina was easily the best of the three hotels we stayed in, delivering a true luxury boutique experience that rivals the Ritz-Carlton. This intimate 19-room hotel is set within a beautifully renovated 19th-century mansion. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by gracious, attentive staff who strike that perfect balance: anticipating your needs while still taking the time to engage genuinely with guests. The property itself is stunning. It offers sweeping 360-degree views of the city and the Tagus River, with one of the highest viewpoints in Lisbon. The rooftop bar and pool are absolutely beautiful (even if the weather didn’t quite cooperate for a swim), and the hotel also features three restaurants with both breakfast and dinner options. Our room was gorgeous, opening out onto the square - we loved being able to open the windows and let in the cool Portuguese breeze. The renovation is elegant and refined, though it does lean more modern; I would have loved to see a bit more of the original historic character preserved. What truly elevates this hotel is the staff: * Francisco, who welcomed us and handled check-in and luggage seamlessly * Inês, who gave us a warm introduction and tour of the property * António, who recommended some of the best sparkling Portuguese wine I had on this trip * Carlos, who crafted delicious nightcaps * Alexandra, who made breakfast each morning a delight (enjoy your well-deserved vacation!) All in all, an exceptional stay and an absolute must if you’re visiting Lisbon.

Our stay at Verride Palácio de Santa Catarina was absolutely incredible. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored palace from the 1700s, perched above the river in Lisbon, and it truly feels like stepping into another era. The architecture and design are stunning, and the views over the river are breathtaking. What made the experience even more special was the staff. The service here is truly exceptional — honestly some of the best service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The team at the front desk was incredibly helpful with anything we needed, and the breakfast restaurant staff were so welcoming, attentive, and accommodating each morning. The spa experience was also wonderful. Anna, Bella, and Niro gave absolutely amazing massages and were some of the kindest people we met during our stay. They made the entire experience feel so relaxing and special. This hotel is a true gem in Lisbon — elegant, welcoming, and unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
