The apartment looked nice, and the layout was really good. Overall, I would say we could stay here again, but there were definitely a few downsides. The TV looks impressive, but unfortunately, we couldn’t connect to Netflix or any other streaming service. The kitchen was also very minimalist. There was only one grill pan and no regular frying pan, but we managed. The swimming pool was quite crowded, and there were many more children around than we had expected. The breakfast was probably our biggest disappointment. It felt like we almost had to fight for a table, and the breakfast room was simply too small for the number of guests. The buffet was also very limited, and with so many people trying to get breakfast at the same time, we felt rushed. We were lucky to get the last bowl, but there were no glasses left, the pancakes had run out, and there was no yoghurt available. There were yoghurt drinks, but only one left. And that was just the beginning! 😅 That said, it was manageable for a short stay, as we weren’t staying for a whole week. We also had a rather strange experience at the restaurant. The staff’s English was quite limited, which made communication a little difficult. We wanted to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace, so we sat down. Around 7 pm, I noticed the staff clearing tables and looking quite busy, so I asked whether they were closing. They said no and asked what we would like to drink. We were then served our wine in plastic cups, and one glass wasn’t even filled as much as the other. We were charged €5 per glass, and shortly after we paid, they closed the restaurant doors anyway. It was just a rather odd experience. All in all, the stay was fine, and the apartment itself was nice. However, considering the price, I believe there are better options available, especially if you’d prefer to stay closer to the city centre.

Looks good on paper, misses the mark in reality. It has all the potential to be great but for the price, the hotel is missing many important details. There are not enough amenities for your stay such as coffee, dish pods, dish soap, toilet paper, blankets etc. The robs and slippers were not in the room. We spent a lot of time calling the front desk and waiting a long time for each missing item each day. Some days we got hand towels some days we didn't (just one example). The air conditioning control in the room didn't work. It was either freezing or we had to shut it off completely and over heat. We were also told, only one blanket per room (we were a family of 4). We had to use sheets and towels to stay warm. There is a full kitchen, but it was difficult to cook since you're not provided with all the necessary supplies and the pots and pans were very used and all scratched up. On a positive note, we were upgraded after arriving to our initial room and finding out we were put in the non family friendly side of the hotel which has stairs. This was very much appreciated and helped us a lot. Thank you. Overall, most of the staff is helpful and the rooms were cleaned very well each day.
I would say one of the best experiences. The roof top bar is amazing . Also I would appreciate the receptionist who are always happy to support. Rooms are clean and neat .buffet breakfast is also top notch.
I had a wonderful stay at Upon Lisbon Prime Residences. I really enjoyed everything—from the modern, spacious, and spotless apartment to the friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were excellent, and the hotel is conveniently located close to public transportation, making it easy to get around Lisbon. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again❤️
The staff were warm and approachable, and breakfast was a pleasant enough start to the day — so credit where it’s due. Unfortunately, several recurring issues made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay. The most frustrating was the air conditioning. Every day it was switched off — not by me — and could not be controlled from the room. In Lisbon’s heat, this meant a daily trip to reception (or messaging in WhatsApp repeatedly) to request something that should simply be a given. For a self-described residence-style property, removing guest autonomy over basic room temperature is a significant oversight. Sound insulation was genuinely poor for a 4-star hotel. Neighbouring guests’ conversations, television, and alarm clocks were all clearly audible — not occasionally, but consistently. Rest was affected. The shower compounded things further — square knobs that prioritise aesthetics over usability, making temperature and pressure adjustment unnecessarily fiddly, with a long wait for warm water. On the amenities side: no slippers, no conditioner, no iron. Small things individually, but collectively they fall short of what a 4-star guest reasonably expects. The location and staff goodwill are genuine positives. But comfort, noise control, and room functionality are the whole point of a hotel stay — and on those, Upon Prime fell short.
