Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable, spacious, with comfortable beds, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room and the hotel’s common areas were beautifully decorated and very well maintained. The breakfast also offered a great variety of choices, and everything we tried was delicious. The location was also excellent, with the metro station just a short walk away. My father had an unexpected health issue during our stay and the staff were very helpful, and on their own initiative kindly offered us a late check-out until 2:00 pm, which was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated during a difficult situation. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Staying at Hotel TURIM Saldanha felt like discovering a calm little pocket of Lisbon — modern, comfortable, and wonderfully easy to settle into. The rooms were spotless, the location was convenient, and the atmosphere had that quiet, polished feel travelers appreciate after a long day exploring. A special thank-you to Hugo, who generously approved our early check-in request. That thoughtful gesture made our arrival especially smooth and immediately gave us a great first impression of Portuguese hospitality 🙏 I also enjoyed the food inspiration around the hotel, where Portuguese cuisine reminded me that Portugal’s culinary soul is deeply connected to the Atlantic—cod, olive oil, pastries, and simple ingredients turned into something memorable. Trivia: Portugal is said to have hundreds of ways of preparing bacalhau! 🇵🇹 Overall, a welcoming stay with excellent service, comfort, and just the right touch of Lisbon charm. A place I’d happily return to.
This was a really nice experience! The hotel is situated very conveniently within three metro stations, all in walking distance, and only 10-15 minutes from the city centre by Uber/Bolt. It’s perfectly quiet in the evening, while still being close to everything. Rooms are spotlessly clean and furnished with modern furniture. We asked for a high-floor room and they accommodated our wish. Furthermore, resources were well-stocked and they also offered different amenities upon request in the reception. The room was air conditioned and had a welcome gift upon arrival, which is such a nice touch and always very appreciated as a frequent traveler. Furthermore, the hotel also refills 1L of courtesy water every day, which was super nice as the water is most definitely drinkable, but tastes a bit of chlorine. For a long stay, the hotel was a perfect base and we really enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel, but it did leave some things to be desired. The room only had three our four plugs for chargers, none of them situated near the bed. Instead, we found two free charging spots at the desk. Not a big problem, but in the great 26, most hotel rooms offer charging spots by the bed on each side. Furthermore, the housekeeping was very eager to clean the room, most of the week a bit too eager, knocking multiple times and opening the door. It’s important to note that we didn’t have the DND sign on for some of the days, which they are not to blame for, but I’d think that if you knock at 8 or 9 and get a ‘sorry!’, you’d wait until 13:00. Once again, the rooms were spotless and really nicely cleaned, however the amount of towels kept changing; one day, we had two hand towels and one wash towel, the other day we had only one hand towel and two wash towels, but no foot mat, et cetera et cetera. This was a bit annoying although not a big problem as they kept changing what was missing every day;-) Lastly, the reception staff, although very competent, were not super ‘hospitable’, which to me is a big part of staying in hotels. When walking in and out of the reception, no one was there to say hello or goodbye, and the times they were there, they didn’t look up from their computer to acknowledge the guests. Even when we greeted them, they seemed almost shocked. Maybe it’s a cultural difference, but I have to say this would surprise me. Usually, though, this is not a matter of the staff being incompetent, but rather a sign that they’re unhappy in their work environment, usually relating to the front office manager. I hope this is not the case, cause when we actually talked to them, they were all very sweet. Just not really welcoming, which is what you want for a long stay. Ultimately a really nice hotel which will definitely be my go-to if I’m in Lisbon again, but missing one star because of the aforementioned things. Thank you so much for having us!🫶🏼
It was my third time in Lisbon, and I can say, that this was best location for hotel. It’s a lot of cafe and restaurant near by, metro station, and main and far from touristic area. I also liked service a lot, we were late because of strike in metro for check out, it was not a problem, rooms cleaned well, fresh towels every day, bed was comfortable, and big, room itself also big. For me just one thing I didn’t like - small window, I like more panoramic or with balcony. But everything else - perfect
Our hotel that Journee chose for our trip to Lisbon was excellent. Staff were friendly, especially Nelson the bartender, and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast had hot and cold options yet it wasn't included in the room fee. The location in the city center was good for walking to shopping and restaurants.
