Great location, nice hotel. Rooms are nice. Service friendly. Avenue can be loud, but this is a city. Adjacent to the many cafes in the center of the avenue and an easy walk to Rossio area. My breakfast servers were exceptional as that’s the key to start the day, learn about Lisbon and feel connected. Thanks to Dino and Thallyta for making me feel at home and comfortable.
We had a great stay here. Beautiful hotel and very accommodating. Booked with American Express and received many perks. We loved the breakfast, and rooftop bar. We needed an extra night and they accommodated us and we were able to stay in the same room. Would recommend!
An Exceptional Experience on the Rooftop Terrace and in the Lobby Bar We visited both the lobby bar and the rooftop restaurant of this beautiful hotel, even though we were not staying at the hotel, and I have to say that we left with a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. In the lobby bar, we were welcomed by fantastic, very friendly, and highly professional service. There was absolutely nothing to fault with the drinks or the light refreshments — everything was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooftop restaurant was an even more memorable experience. The fresh fish prepared in an Asian-inspired style was absolutely outstanding — full of flavour and perfectly prepared. The entire dining experience was made even more special by the breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace. The service was simply fantastic — professional, attentive, warm, and at the same time very natural and welcoming. Exactly the kind of service you would expect from a restaurant of this standard. We were also very impressed by the large selection of cigars from different parts of the world. It is a wonderful touch that perfectly complements the entire evening. Enjoying a fine cigar after an excellent meal and a great drink, accompanied by such a beautiful view, is truly the perfect combination. Even though we were not hotel guests, we felt genuinely welcome. Excellent food, fantastic service, breathtaking views, great drinks, and an impressive selection of cigars — all of this came together to create a truly exceptional experience. Definitely a place we will be very happy to return to.
Great historic hotel on the Avenida Librade. Room was clean and spacious. Lobby a little busy at times. Lobby bar is nice with some live music in evenings. Gym is clean, well-appointed, big and very nice by hotel standards. Hotel restaurant for breakfast was also nice with plenty of selections, but buffet style, so be mindful that you will have others and their children fingering your food. Small note on breakfast wait-staff; some very attentive, but some just standing around. Hotel pool and small bar area also very nice. Only issue we had was at early arrival check-in, we were told room would be ready in "minutes" and to have seat in lobby. But it was over an hour before room was finally ready. If we were told that up-front, it would have been acceptable, instead of being repeatedly told, " just a few minutes". At that point we should have been offered a drink at lobby bar or something. Overall, very nice hotel and would not hestitate to stay again.
This was a great hotel choice for us. Location is excellent, right in the city and walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Pool was small, nicely set up though. Staff did a great job and meals were great. Marcus Erikkson, concierge, was right on target with every recommendation. Food, experiences, tours, all of it. Highly recommend this hotel.
