After 4 nights of staying here I can easily say that this experience hasn’t fallen short on anything. I enjoy the amenities offered, from breakfast delivery, to lounging on the roof. The interiors are nicely laid out and have all the essentials. Gabriel professed my check in and was truly the sweetest. Would absolutely come here again - I even made some of my colleagues jealous.
The views and peaceful atmosphere were definitely the best part of our stay. The little house is quite small but very cosy, although there isn’t much space for luggage. The bathroom is also small and a bit noisy, and one useful thing to know is that toilet paper cannot be flushed, so you need to use the small bin next to the toilet. The main thing we would improve is the breakfast. It was basically the same every day: bread with 1 slice of ham and cheese, yoghurt with muesli, a small milk, fruit, a sweet pastry and two eggs to be cooked. We would have really appreciated more variety during the week. Overall, it is a beautiful and very relaxing place, and staying there is a lovely experience. With a few small improvements, especially to the breakfast, it could be even better.
We had a wonderful stay with The Homeboat Company. From the moment we arrived, Bia made us feel incredibly welcome with her warmth, friendliness, and helpful recommendations. She was a fantastic host and made the experience even more enjoyable. The homeboat itself was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the delicious breakfast that was provided each morning, and the convenient dinner menu with several options available for delivery. We ordered the pizza one evening, and it was absolutely delicious! The location also worked well for our family. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and our kids loved visiting the nearby aquarium and playground. One thing to keep in mind is that the homeboats are located in a working marina, so there is some dock and marina activity that can create noise during the day. Also, while it’s easy to get around, the marina is a bit removed from the heart of Lisbon, so you’ll likely want to use public transportation or a rideshare to reach many of the city’s main attractions. Overall, this was a unique and memorable place to stay, made even better by Bia’s outstanding hospitality. We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a different way to experience Lisbon.
The accommodation is beautiful, located right in the marina in a very peaceful setting, yet everything is within walking distance. We stayed on the boats Bocanegro and Bohemia, and both were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delivered directly to the deck every morning, and we couldn't have asked for more. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and will definitely be back. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and dedicated. A special thank you to Gonçalo and his brother, as well as Alexandra and Beatrize who were exceptionally kind and helped us with everything we needed from the very beginning.
