⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Special Stay in Lisbon The Pousada Alfama is located right in the heart of Alfama – perfectly central, surrounded by the vibrant life of Lisbon, yet still a place where you immediately feel comfortable, welcomed and at home. But what truly makes this place special are the people. The entire team welcomed us with so much warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality. You can feel that they don’t simply work here – they put their hearts into what they do. ❤️ Tom and I felt incredibly welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. Their personal and heartfelt hospitality made our stay in Lisbon truly unforgettable. Alfama, the little winding streets, the energy of the city right outside the door – and wonderful people who greet you with a smile. For us, this is Lisbon: authentic, warm and full of life. We are taking home beautiful memories and, most of all, a little piece of Lisbon in our hearts. ❤️🇵🇹 We will definitely come back! Beutyful hotell, nice staff. Located across the street from one of Lisbons most famous street skate spots and in the middle of the old town. Could not be more sentral. The breakfast was devine and the rooms are super comfortable. If returning to Lisbon we will stay there again

Pousada Alfama is not simply an excellent hotel. It is one of those places that becomes inseparable from the city itself. My room had a remarkable view over the rooftops of Alfama and the Tagus. The morning light was beautiful, and in the evening it was difficult to pull myself away from the window. That alone would have made the stay memorable. Breakfast was excellent, both in quality and in atmosphere. It was served in an intimate, understated room that reminded me of the cafés in the novels of Pessoa and Tabucchi: the kind of place where you naturally stay seated longer than necessary. The wine selection was also very good. The staff were wonderful: warm, funny, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, without the artificial politeness one sometimes finds in luxury hotels. Their hospitality felt effortless and sincere. The location is perfect. You step outside and immediately find yourself inside Alfama, ideally placed to walk without a plan, take a wrong turn, follow a staircase downhill and unexpectedly find the river again. I have travelled extensively and stayed in many hotels, and this is unquestionably one of the best. Not only because of the room, the view or the service, but because it became an essential part of my experience of Lisbon. Leaving the hotel was almost as difficult as l

Lovely, small hotel in charming Alfama district. Our room over-looked the harbor but was completely quiet and peaceful. Clean and comfortable room. Loved the staff and wish we had more than one night there. A perfect way to end our Portugal holiday
